Hey Man Love Your Vids I Live In Nj North Side Like 40 Min Away From Long Island I Have A Question Do You Have To Be A Resedente From Long Island To Go To The Beach ?
I believe right now because of the Rona, you have to be a county resident to go to the county spots. Idk about the state beaches.
I hate killing fish too. That’s why I swap out all treble hooks with an inline circle hook. And I’m talking about the hooks eyelet being inline. Even on my talkn poppers and sp minnows. Loose more fish but also fatally wound much less

Do you do guided trips? I want to learn how to fish with 5 teasers above my diamond jig. Thanks.
If you ever used 5 teasers in a school of feeding blues you might end up trying to reel in a very heavy load. If you're trolling on a boat you might use an umbrella rig(a chore to reel in) and really only necessary if you're seeking shark bait but in the surf Its overkill.

Take your pick. We're surrounded by water, Spring on the island: North Shore or South Shore, East or West the big blues arrive inshore for a couple weeks and then they seems to go deeper.
Then in Fall the young "snappers" come out of the bays and migrate South along with the adults and Striped Bass.
Wow! That place is beautiful. Where the hell in Long Island looks like that? The water looks sooooo clean!

Hey Buddy, you guys are blessed with all that BlueFish!!! Do you have any specific colours of swimbaits, which is deadly for the Bluefish? Here in South Africa, I have been using Zman - Pearl Glimmer Blue and Riptide - Space Guppy...works very well here.

Have you ever given thought to crimping down the barbs on the treble hooks? I love fishing an SP Minnow for gator blues here in New Jersey during the spring run and have started crimping down the barbs, you may miss/loss a few more fish but if you keep your line tight the landing ration is very close to being equal to unclimbed trebles. Plus the thought of it being less harmful to the fish makes up for anyone you loss IMHO.
Yeah, we’ve crimped a bunch of the barbs on our hooks, and have actually switched a lot of our trebles to singles. And even taken off some of the second hooks on some of our plugs too. Didn’t want to risk damaging those beautiful 20s+ that come through 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Most of the time I'm tying to a barrel swivel. When I fish lighter lines, 20# and less, I usually tie direct with a uni-to-uni or an FG knot.

Dude , just a little hint and advice,I love fishing, and watching Fishing videos. However please 🥺 show the Fish when you catch them show them that's the whole idea 💡....
If I didn’t show a fish after catching it, then most likely, it dies and was bleeding. 2 years ago (which is when this video went up) TH-cam was demonetizing and shutting down a ton of fishing channels and videos that showed any form of injuring or death of fish. It was a wild time to be on TH-cam...never knowing if you would be the next one “cancelled”. So that’s probably what happened in this video too. So I didn’t show it...

Nice blue. Good that you kept it. You got skills fishing but please consider how you land and release your fish. Don’t hold and dangle them by the tail and drop them in the water take a little more time and grab that thing with two hands and release with two hands like you did with the last fish. More fish than you think will die due to mouth, gill and tail bone injuries after the release. Good content otherwise.
