It sounds very quiet. Good job. Open fiber race pipes wrapped in Braided, exhaust rap. Red the only way to go low windshield.Cousin efi fuel programmer. K and n air filter. And also in this country, we don't have to have cadillac converters or whatever that crap is on yours. My rims are black limited edition with red pinstripe. 2003 It's a hundred and sixty seven mile per hour.Bike, and it sounds like the devil himself
I did mine recently, have delkavic cans on,make sure you isolate anything unplugged with insulation tap and also if you have standard exhausts leave the inlet on the pair valve unblocked ,If you block it will clogg up the cat,if you have aftermarket cans on it will pop and crackle with it unblocked and wont do damage if you block it. If you do block the inlet pair hose use a marble lol or a cap.
Makes no sense what you're saying ... if a Cat's fitted, yes leaving "Pair valve" in a working condition is beneficial for the Cat & O2 sensors to function as Honda intended, changing cans, it'll still affect Cat & O2 sensors if u block "Pair" system ... (Think about it)
Have noticed a lot have done the free horsepower mods but I’ve never heard it like you have just done the engine sounds a lot deeper when you throttle off ( apart from vetec my favourite sound ) great vid m8 👍🏍💯🤘
I will be doing the delete on mine soon! Got the block off plates ordered and the snorkel removed already since I just finished doing the timing chain tensioners!
The Silver Fox Travels yeah it is, that’s why I can have any adventures bikes as won’t fit, either sports or sports tourer is all I can get round there
I definitely prefer the sound of the bike without the Snorkel, it sounds so bloody grunty when the VTEC kicks in! It could be a combination of the flapper mod with it though. I'm not convinced by the PAIR valve mod mind, actually thinking about putting mine back to stock to see if I notice any difference!
I agree with you Kev. The snorkel mod sounds great. I did the trio of mods. Kept the flapper mod I put the snorkel back because I feared the water and crap will get in. I did try the pair mod but bike didn't want to start. Kept cutting out. So I put it back.
The British are unbelievable at taking a very sexy bike and making it look lame. You got a tall enough windshield and why is it that color it looks like a scooter.I can't believe it's the same bike as mine
Did you do the flapper mod too? there's a small vacuum hose that lifts a flap in the airbox to reduce air flow. Just pull the hose and leave it loose and she will breath better again. I put all mine back though pipe and snorkel. I wanted better economy.
Pulling vac hose from flapper does nothing for economy or performance, hope u plugged the hose or you'll have a vac leak & cause it to run lean, which can be terminal for a 4 stroke motor, flapper disconnected, bike will run a tad smoother at low rpm's if the starter valves are correctly set, 5th & 6th Gen are different.
some say it sounds better but makes no performance difference, flapper and pair valve mods can also be done, might pull the snorkel on mine, flapper is also easy disabled, pair valves are another story though.
The GorillaBiker I think it was to lower emissions from what I’ve read. Not too bothered about exhaust at mo, well funds are telling me I’m not gonna buy one yet 😂🙈
Might sound better to some, in reality, it does nothing for performance ... no more or no less air is drawn into the airbox, snorkel just quietens down intake roar to pass noise regs.... I'm a 5th Gen owner, my snorkels staying put, your own choice to leave or remove ... keep it shiny side up guys .
Flapper is fully closed below 5,000rpm, fully open above 5,000rpm, what makes u think you'll get water ingress into airbox? Disabling flapper vac unit only leaves flapper fully open all the time, personally I'd advise to fully remove the flapper vac unit, gaffer tape over the mounting hole, install a couple of self tapping screws thru flapper edge to secure it fully open or remove airbox lid & remove flapper all together. Removing snorkel does nothing but increase intake roar, in fact bike will lose power due to airbox resonance being affected, for best results, leave snorkel in place. If u have a vermin issue, fine wire mesh over flapper & snorkel inlets, no mice or rats can get in then.
Did the snorkel and the pair valve mods today. Back from my test ride.
Wow much smoother ride and a nicer deep roarrrr.

Loved the Sound Craig was a lot deeper .

ID METALGUITAR cheers mate for that info, very helpful

Lj782 I love the sound, might be a mix of the 2 audios from both cameras but sounds a great beast
There are no free horsepower mods, it's a myth.
Much sweeter sound Excellent mod Stay safe 🤘
Sounds Savage. Just subscribed. Keep up the great videos
Cheers pal welcome aboard 🤘🏻
Does sound better but didn’t do it mine as I believe it’s there to stop water ingress into the air box!
Chris Holderness I am thinking that too as there’s quite a big intake now and surely the water thrown up must get in
yes sounds lot better have seen videos on this flapper mod hmmm maybe try this too.
Love that deep sound mate
I will be doing the delete on mine soon! Got the block off plates ordered and the snorkel removed already since I just finished doing the timing chain tensioners!
WOW you have done some serious work!
Nice video there, bike sounds great..! Looks a tight squeeze getting it in and out of its shed though..!

Kevs Shed be good to hear your thoughts

Your reaction at around 2:30 was the same as mine ;D
Nice vid, it sounded naughty on tick over, my Mrs is on the same tabs, hope Pops is ok 👍

Yes did the hose too, not noticed anything different in fuel economy
@@Motourev i found mine using more fuel for definite. May of been my riding though, who knows? Lol
@@callumjohnson9433 😂😂 yeah I ride like a learner so prob get better fueling 🙈

Road Warrior yeah done all 3 now but did them as soon as I bought her so I don’t know what she was like before 😂🙈
Any plans for throwing an exhaust on to it? Funny that that was ever even on there in the first place, I wonder was it emissions related.
The GorillaBiker I think it was to lower emissions from what I’ve read. Not too bothered about exhaust at mo, well funds are telling me I’m not gonna buy one yet 😂🙈
@@Motourev yeah I'd say somthing like that. Haha I waited 4 years for the one for the Fazer so I know how you feel :P
The GorillaBiker don’t forget though once TH-cam starts paying £5k a month for the adverts we can buy new bikes all the time 😂😂🙈
@@Motourev hahahaha oh yeah I can't wait 😂

What model of Drift camera are you using on your helmet? Thanks.
It looks the same as my Drift Ghost 4K
beware this mod will allow rain water to enter your airbox on really wet days
Hasn’t happened yet in 2 years, and did 160 miles in heavy motorway rain in July. Will keep a look out.
Wrong!!! flapper is open all the time motor is spinning above 3,000rpm.
You may get water in jet washing, but only a fool would jet wash their bike.
get a life@@mickeymouse4897
Read over what you said there very carefully. And you say i wont make a mech@@mickeymouse4897

motorcycle wild camper I think you can buy them actually that goes all around the camera 🤔 I check on Amazon 👍🏻
If not a little bit of fake fur will do
