Was not a fan of Charles but this is a deeply emotional and moving speech. Although he has impeccable control over himself you can clearly see the sadness in his eyes and hear it in his voice when he spoke of his dearest Mamma! He will be a great King to our country and I sincerely hope his reign is long and prosperous.

frankly they are the worst benefit scroungers on earth. Tax payers pay to look after these adults like they're babies. I’m a United States citizen who’s not yet lived even a quarter of a century on this planet. But I will remember learning about the life of her majesty through my history major whenever she was highlighted. Additionally I will never forget two key moments following the September 11th attacks. Both at the queen’s prompting. The first was the band of the Royal Guard played the Star Spangled Banner, which was the first time that they had played another nation’s national anthem. The second was the memorial service held for the victims in which St. Paul’s Cathedral collectively sang the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Videos of both exist on YT and never failed to bring tears to my eye. They always will now. God rest the Queen. And God save the King.

We are simply here to pause and reflect on the death of an exemplary human who put her own opinions and interests aside for 7 decades in order to do her job. A job she never asked for in the first place. Even in her last days on earth, while obviously unwell and recently having lost her husband and love of her life, she performed her duty by holding audience to the new UK PM. That said, Thursday was truly an auspiciously sad day for both the United Kingdom and the rest of the world. including my country, the United States of America. May G-d bless both her family and the people of Great Britain. Rest in Peace, Queen Elizabeth II (21 April 1926 - 8 September 2022). 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
"This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
    This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England ... "

Your attitude and negativity at a time when true British people are in mourning and uniting to express their feelings towards our Queen, offer condolences to Her family and welcome our new King is simply the furthest thing from British values that a person could get.
Evidently you're not proud to have Charles as King when he's only been King for 1 day so you have no reason or evidence of him being a poor King, no empathy for the fact he's just lost his Mother, no gratitude for a Lady who's served us for 70 years from a very young age through difficult and joyful times.
This lady is an immigrant that wasn't born here and She IS speaking on behalf of the British people and our values. It's you who's speaking for herself because you're certainly not speaking on behalf of the British people with negative comments like that.
If you had anything about you, you'd digest what I'm saying, admit that on this occasion you've got it wrong and apologise to this Lady who's taken the time to post a lovely comment expressing her gratitude for the opportunities She's received from our great nation and by doing so you'll have had the humility to admit fault, apologise and display a level of your own British values.
Everyone can make a mistake or say a few wrong words but owning it and apologising is what makes us what we really are !!

What happened to Diana was wrong, no doubt about it, and it took me a long time to warm up to Charles and Camilla. But at this point, I think it's best to let Diana rest, never forgotten, but I think 25 years on she'd likely want us to focus on today and the future, especially for her boys. There was a lot of pressure put on both Charles and Diana; clearly they never should have married. But they did, and it's done, and we're all human. I will always love and miss Diana, but I'm willing to give Charles and Camilla a chance 🥰

frankly they are the worst benefit scroungers on earth. Tax payers pay to look after these adults like they're babies. Andrew is a nonce, Harry reaps the rewards of being a Royal tax funded man for most of his life then decides to just disappear without paying a penny back. Anyone in the current climate that supports this family, should genuinely keep their mouths well and truly shut if they fancy complaining about the cost of living.

The foundation of the RF may have now sunk..
Especially after the allegations of racism/treatment melted out to Meghan ..and worst treatment of our beloved Harry ....That is the very sad part..The integrity of Charles has been tested with Harry and Meghan..He indeed did not handle it very well..Now the Queen is gone and there is still bad blood among the RF members..!
