I have been watching quite a few Olympic weightlifting videos lately and this is the first time I have seen the slow-mo playback. Really awesome to see the execution at a speed my brain can comprehend
Imagine there were like a year of daily and planned exercise to do this particular lift at this particular stage. And that was built up on her already established professional skill.
Awesome timing and technique! She does a great job of making it "look" easy.
She brought such a classy style to the sport. Everything from how she approached the bar to how she smiled upon a successful lift. I hope she continues in the sport even if she isn't competing at the highest level. She appeared to me to be at her best in the 75kg category.
I've been a body builder for 47 years and am blown away at her power and technique. She is awesome! To paraphrase Mr. T, "I pity the fool that gets fresh with her".

@@marko3254 It has been the fountain of youth for me. Most people think I am 15 to 20 years younger than my almost 70 years. Luck has been a big part of it too. Thank you for the encouragement.
@@paulr.3220 that's awesome! keep at it! I just got into bodybuilding, at age 32. I hope to keep doing it for the rest of my life honestly. I feel so much better now. plus changed my diet completely. gained 6.5lb of muscle in 8 months so far. I just wish I had started when I was younger! the Olympic lifts blow my mind. it looks very complicated!
@@spindleblood You will never regret investing in yourself at any age. I am on track to be at 70 what I was in my mid 30's. Injuries and age mean that I can't use the weight that I used to but I'm getting great results with lighter weight and higher reps. Still have to push it to the edge. Keep up the good effort and blow every ones minds.

I’ve been training in a gym for 40 years now and often watch her training for motivation, she has excellent form, incredibly strong and of course is cute 🙂

I love that slow motion, actually get to see some of the finer points of how this actually works. Like on the C&J you can see her making the bar bend then using the whip to help her move the bar overhead.
She doesn’t use the whip to get the bar overhead or it would be red lighted

The camera was a Sony A9 ( amzn.to/2EeWMnp ). With a very old lens that you can not buy anymore :D (only used) (Soligor 75-205mm f3.8) and a Konica-NEX Adapter ( amzn.to/2FbzpM3 ) - so far from a ideal setup :D
