@@sportshighlights030they can't just really be a fan of her and this lift?
@@kingkinardfitness6053nope.
@@federalagent7334that's the point silly.
Phenomenal athlete. Mental grit at its finest. As the commentator said "career defining moment".
God calls you to repentance. Tomorrow is not a promise, and God does not want you to die in sin and go to hell, but to repent and believe in Jesus Christ for eternal life
That is why Jesus Christ (God made Man) died on the cross. You broke the Law, but Christ paid your fine. He suffered in your place, as your Substitute, and rose again after three days, now seated at the right hand of the Father; He is King over all.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Christ is coming soon.

She lifting my my light warm up weight lol
Wow I didn't expect to cry, but seeing her reaction was so heart-warming.
You need to understand the work that goes into one single moment to truly appreciate what it means to these athletes. Remarkable work ethic
Despite her not posting a total, for her to come back and snatch 85 after 2 misses AND bombing out at Euros is remarkable. That takes true resilience, especially in such a rough sport like weightlifting
Real nice snatch she's got 👍
for everyone wondering, she had to get at least 85 to to stay in contention for Paris. So, may as well give yourself at least 3 shots at it (is my guess at what the strategy was, and it does make some sense). yes, it's an aggressive weight, but why waste chances on less? it sounds like she worked up to at least 80 in warm up, so, just got for it.
This should be top comment
yeah agreed
Not only would going for less be wasted, but it would've also wasted energy and strength.
I don't know how you guys came across my feed. But man, I've been watching your stuff. It's addictive. Goes to show you don't need volumes of action to make a sport interesting. The grit and determination of these athletes makes for damn compelling viewing.
That how some people start. From watching to, in a couple of years, lifting and competing themselves.
Welcome to weightlifting my man.
Strongman is better, less bullshit and more variety
@@dantethunderstone2118 let me know when two weightlifters have a boxing match and I'll let you know when strongman has less bullshit
@@kittlydelrey they were retired and took a payday. Tell me 2 weightlifters who wouldn’t get in a boxing match for a million dollars each
When’s the last time a strongman got an ohp rep disallowed because they dropped the bar wrong?

+1
Sometimes you just get taken back by how much it means to someone. You can see it took everything she had. I don't care much for powerlifting but this was awesome to see
Me too!
This is not powerlifting
Absolute respect for her and for all the athletes that competes in this sport. If I had my carrer hanging on a 5 seconds moment I would crumble even before touching the bar. Respect
I know this isn’t any kind of consolation for her but even if she had made her last cl&jk she still wouldn’t have qualified. Two other athletes passed her afterwards. Still the third attempt snatch save was outstanding and gave her fans hope for a little while longer. Terrific competitor.
finallu somebody said it
Buddy…she’s not reading the TH-cam comments
Not really a terrific competitor when she’s a regular bomber 😂 first euros now worlds
@@mopnemI don’t think they’re really trying to talk to her. They’re just discussing the video.
@@robertplantcirca1973 She'd become a millionaire if she started an 0F.
I don't care if she made it to the finals or won but I absolutely went through an emotional journey through this clip. She did very well!
Damn. I don’t know a thing about lifting but I do know that was incredible. Props to her for being so resilient and to finally making it.
Had my eyes getting misty...what grit!
She’s so passionate and tries so hard but the top 3 today are so far ahead in ability and drug use

My elbows snapped just from watching this
I really don't understand the team Italy strategy. Why they can't start at a low weight to build confidence in the athlete and then jump to heavier weights? I'm really sorry for Giulia, she has a great technique, but it seems that the pressure put in these athletes are too high for her.
I've been thinking the same thing. I was really pulling for her to come back after that debacle in Sofia.
This is probably the third competition she has bombed out on:what’s peculiar is that Sergio Massida has consistently improved,Pizzolato is basically maintaining,Magistris is doing OK,Misirendino is doing sub optimal whereas she is the ONLY Italian that is consistently bombing. Either she’s not listening to coaches,or they’re giving her bad advice or she’s doing her own thing.
It's because the new qualifying rules are so harsh. Go big or go home
Because in order to qualify She has to lift at least 85kg, so they prefer to start with the "maximum" weight, having 3 attempts. By the way, I agree with you, mentally speaking it can be a dangerous strategy.
@@thechosenone93 I think she is just too "emotional". It's a psychological "weakness", because she trains very hard, like the others.
Pwoah her elbow just held, that's insane, what a legend. I really didn't think she'd get it, the first two attempts were pretty severe failures. Very surprising, impressive work.
This channel makes weightlifting entertaining
That was so stressful to watch and such a relief and a joy to see her land it ❤
viewing this while at the gym warming up has me fired up! 🐺
well done Giulia!
😭 so happy for giulia, beyond inspiring
Brought a tear to my eye 👏
She showed a lot of heart!
I was tearing up with her gaaddamn. Very satisfying to see her perseverance and emotion.
WOW, what a great three pointer from that place in the court. Stunning performance on the court Giulia
Ive seen her before on this channel. Always pulling through. Very motivational
what a final lift!!!!! AMAZING!
This girl has some serious guts. Respect!
She's really good at volleyball
I was so relieved when Giulia made that lift. You were correct, people all across the world was so happy to see her succeed. She was so heartbroken at the European's not long ago. She broke my heart at Bulgaria.
This just made my day
I cried when she got it on that 3rd try! Yes, girl!! 👏
I was screaming “save it, SAVE IT” on her last lift omg
I want to write my thoughts about Weightlifting House. I have been watching this channel for a while now. I think I joined just prior to Europeans this year. That money I spent to join to become a member is the best money I have ever spent on sporting events. These Pan-American's, Asian, European, and World's Championships are the best events in my opinion. I have become very accustomed to the great narration. I forget the Englishman's name, but that gentleman has an encyclopedic knowledge and memory of these lifters. I am starting to know some of these lifters well also, but that man has it down. Like I said, if you enjoy these videos, you should join. Not once have I ever regretted joining and paying the minuscule dues. Great job Gentlemen. Kudos. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Agreed! Glad I purchased access also👍
She is an amazing athlete ❤
Congrats Giulia! i'm happy for you, good job 😉
Dude! So happy for her.
Awesome work!

indeed an impressive snatch from any angle o/
I immediately started crying with her when she made that lift.
Wow amazing athlete amazing lift and great performance to top it off ❤
Unfortunetly Giulia bombed out on Clean&Jerk 104kg
Gotta have that clutch
@@quandale2370 well obviously if you can't qualify for those comps....
@@srthyrdyjhyno need to be cruel though
@@quandale2370I have to defend her, she clearly is cut out for international comps by the numbers she is capable of lifting, she just isnt a top level lifter, like Cambei or the chinese women.
@@quandale2370 "glad she bombed out" is real hater behavior
This a great example of when ppl talk about fork in the road in life, she was literally between the two realities of either working as a trainer at equinox or competing in the Olympics in that twenty seconds
JUST WOW! I don’t even watch weight lifting and had never heard of Giulia until 5 minutes ago but I legit started TEARING UP in happiness when she made it 🥹🏋️♀️🎉
Good job, ladies. Light as a feather.
impressive snatch
She looks always nervous, so much hype
she is so gorgeous
As an aside, Echandia kicked ass in this session.
THIS!!!!! she did 6/6 and nobody says anything🫥
@@albanysherrerao.4596 Unfortunately, women on this sport still get recognized depending on the amount of instagram followers they have; Lydia Valentin, Mattie Rogers, Giulia Imperio... There are way better athletes than what we generally see on social media.
She had an astounding command of her snatch, perfect symmetry and form.
Everyone's here to see Giulia's snatch
its a career definer for sure
Nice to see Katherin Echandia making progress too.
beautiful snatch!
Awesome lift for her!!!
I wonder why other B group lifters don't get videos like this about them

Video title is clickbait.
Came for the pretty athlete, stayed for the grit and successful snatch. 👍
Congratulations!🎉❤
Wonderful
Now that’s a snatch if Ive ever saw one.
Snatch
Impressive mental strength! Great to see that she made the 3rd attempt. But very sad to read that she bombed out in C&J :(
Could that narrow grip affect the catch? I’ve seen her miss on other comps and noticed that. Just a thought!
Both narrower and wider grips have their disadvantages. Her problem seems to be looping the bar a bit as she's finishing the pull.
Very happy to see this woman's Career Defining Snatch
Great things happen when you have no choice left but to succeed.
Phuket is well known for legendary snatches.
i do not know about any of you but this Imperio girl is just amazing looking to me. I just enjoy watching her
I have nothing against Giulia but i find it kinda sad that her one made lift out of 6 is getting this much coverage (not just here but weightlifting social media in general) when Hou Zhihui set a world record amd leapfrogged her teammate in the rankings in the same session and is getting far less interest.
Great job by Hou. She’d lost to her teammate 4or 5 times in a row.
Giulia only gets attention cause shes pretty, as far as numbers go she had no chance to do well in the Olympics even if she somehow magically made it. She's just not that tier of athlete yet
exactly
Because she’s attractive, that’s why
I really like Giulia, but I agree with those who say that she wouldn't get as much attention if it weren't for her looks. Her East Asian counterparts are just on another level. She is not even on a par with Valentina Cambei.
Italia's coach's strategy is bizzare
