Could never get a pair of Earbuds to fit me and went with the base Open Run model, and I'm decently impressed. I am a little disappointed with the audio quality but this was to be expected since they're not inside my ear. However I do like the IP67 water resistance of the Open Run and how easily it fits on my head. And absolutely love how I can still hear my environment when out on my walks.
Excellent review! I just got mine today and I agree with everything you said. I even confirmed that you can actually use them with foam earplugs at the same time, if you wanted. For example, if you were on an airplane and wanted to use them while blocking out the engine noise. Or I guess you could use the earplugs while sleeping and still be able to listen to music.
One of the best reviews ever. I truly believed you were sincere and not just reading the specs sheet. Btw, don't you hate it when you're looking for an honest review and you bump into a guy that sounds like he works at the company? Lol! 😂
For me, out of the 3 most popular models, OpenMove, OpenRun and OpenRun PRO, the OpenRun play the best and the loudest. OpenMove are kind of flat (the boost mode helps a tiny bit, BTW I didn't even know that there was a boost mode, and I've had them for almost a year xD). OpenRun PRO kind of have more of a richer sound, low tones seem more present, but I think the loudness leaks away due to the dual technology used here (air and bone conduction). I have not tried the PRO 2. So the OpenRun play for me the best, the loudest, and with the boost mode they sound really great. I have not tried them on the bicycle yet.
@@bradfinntrains today I have tested the OpenRun model on a bike. Going pretty fast, downhill, 51km/h, wind blowing into my ears like a wild beast, and the OpenPros were pretty loud when set to a max volume. When compared to OpenMove, the OpenMove were at that point very quiet. The wind was blocking the music. So basically one needs to compare "earphones" while doing outdoor activities, as the volume difference between them in indoor conditions is not so big.
Maybe I'm wearing them wrong but I cannot hear the deep bass that they claim, in fact there's no bass whatsoever making the overall sound very flat. Very disappointed.

Thanks for the added value Eric. I appreciate it
Stumbled across your video. I enjoyed your review. 👍
Thank you so much
I love my Shokz headphones. Bought the AfterShokz Aeropex in Dec 2020 and still use them regularly.
At this point I have 3 pair. Haha

This only work in a quiet area not in the noisy area at all. Don’t waste your money, unless you in the office setting or library.
Agree a bit. If you compare with earbud there is no comparison but still good overall.
It’s pretty quiet on the trails. But a am a little surprised that you thought that “open ear” would work in a noisy setting 🤔
I work for a company that won't let you wear earbuds, you can wear these and if you use these with ear plugs they work great.
I’m getting a set when I pick the bike up
👍🏻
Love them mate game changer! 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️
They don’t suck. That’s for sure. Wear em everyday
Review for people with glasses yessir. Thank you very much
You’re welcome

Bummer. Maybe you are. I love em and everyone I know with them raves about them.
Shokz, don't use them for music. It is delusional if some one thinks music could sound even good. The cheapest headphones will always sound better.
Just never expect good music quality. Everything else, them ok. Just extremely overpriced.
I would have to respectfully disagree
