um es mal kurz zu fassen, sicherlich 100m³ schnee auf 1nem truck, aber! auch das gewicht!!! (translate:) short answer... yes 100qyd fresh snow on one truck, but with the weight of 100... how strong must the axels bee?
This is a great idea. One of the biggest challenges facing a city or airport for snow removal is simply space to store it and trucks on hand to move it. Reducing the volume by removing the air to create a denser final product to move and store makes perfect sense.
3/5 I've had this for a year and it works great but it still no show cubes. I don't know what the gestation period of a snow cube is but will update this review when one is birthed.
The speed to load snow into a truck is a maximum of 5 km/h. The capacity is 500 t/h. You do not need more capacity for truck loading. It is all about safe loading. Please visit our website for the latest snow compressor. www.snocom.com
Wonder where this snow get caught up at all blowers have issues I see that this shoot at top looks like a spot for plugs but I would love to test it out on roadways could save money on trucks
So they took a blower for the back of a tractor and put it on the front and gave it a taller shot how many time do we have to reinvent the wheel and act like it's something new hum
check ''montreal removal snow'' on youtube if you can compact more than that I will be surprise. I drove truck in Montreal like that and it'S very compact!! The snow stick inside the box!!! But interesting concept.
yep, but why use a tech that already axist when you can waste time and money on a completely new tool XD hahaha. just using one of those 500hp cat snow blower they got in montreal and the job would be done. also for plow there is a new concept it's a tractor with a double blade, like the one used for highway, but there is also a trailer that pivot sideways adding a third blade
If anyone is curious I use a snowcuber on my 2 track in upper Michigan to remove snow and small saplings up to 2” thick...makes a good mulcher in the off season
They say "lower the amount of dump trucks" but if you are compacting the snow to be able to put more into the truck, you are then increasing the amount of weight in the load (by 4x). I find it unlikely that anywhere there is an "International airport" will there be reduced weight regulations for travel on public roads to move the snow!
The driver wears a safety jacket from the airport in Amsterdam, but the video got made in the mountains. There is no mountains in Amsterdam, nor is there snow.
Menschens Kinder! No Nein Non Nay! it isNOT making Snow Cubes like I make from CO2. But that is good idea. Funny how I never saw this working on Engadin Webcams.. Bt is there a Wrong kind of snow? too wet , too dry etc - This is the problem we face with shifting bad snow - sticks to Blades or Blowers, etc. Thanks for showing - 3 years on! :-) Sláinte
What o dont understand is why dont they just add heating strip wires in the pavement powered by solar to hear up? That would make life sooooooo easy!!!! People can go to the moon but can't make inventions like that??
Firstly, you'd need some gargantuan batteries to store enough electricity to power the megawatt class heating grid needed to thaw several square kilometers covered up to a half meter of snow, or even more. Charging the batteries would be a challenge in northern areas where there's little to no sun in the winter. Easier to just shovel it off the runway and then throw on some salt and it'll clear up nicely.
This Isn't Even My Final Form yea climate change is very real, yesterday was cloudy with winds up to 40mph gusts, today is sunny with little to no wind, but colder than yesterday. There you go climate change. Man made climate change is a myth created to make money off of forcing companies to change to ‘more efficient’ alternatives that are so outrageously priced that is unreasonable to do so, plus it isn’t as efficient.
+biker932012 Climate change doesn't mean that everywhere will feel like Hawaii in 5 years. It means a couple degrees higher on average, over the course of DECADES, so the temperature it some places might be affected less is some areas, and more in others. When looking at global issues, you have to look at global statistics, not just your own small area. You say it is a "myth created to make money". Who, exactly is making money off these things?? Not the scientists who have been warning us of this for decades. As for the price of low-carbon alternatives, they are new technology, of course they are going to be expensive, but as demand for them grows, competition will drive down costs. And could you clarify your statement that low-carbon alternatives are "less efficient" than traditional methods? For decades, the main focus of technological development has been increasing efficiency.
Climate change will increase the number of extreme weather events, so the amount of heavy snowstorms will increase as well. I've already seen the effects of climate change where I live.
Great video I will consider purchasing this for my international airport
Rc Buddy I have one at my airport it works like a charm!
Ok Kim
I laughed reading this. Too good
Rc Buddy hey , but when you do you’ll be able to show them this
um es mal kurz zu fassen, sicherlich 100m³ schnee auf 1nem truck, aber! auch das gewicht!!!

I didn't see a single snow cube
why am i watching this? I dont own an airport and dont know anyone who does....
I own one!
(Goes back to playing with legos) NERRRRRRRRR VROOM!
Me too.It doesn’t even snow where I live.WTF.
I own two you wanna buy one?
Worst Chicken biulds one out of legos an lego mindstorms ev4
I own a private grass strip open from June- Oct. I've had people land and steal gas ⛽from me, drug runners!
The usual *watch whatever you can find at 1 am* type of video
BMiller2 IKR
Honestly yeah
Very dramatic 4/5. Need more explosions and 80's aerobic girls posing.👍🏻
I was looking for something like this for my aiport. I've found it finally. A big thanks to the creators of this machine.
Yea definitely some guy that owns a international airport will be watching this, only me when I'm on the toilet
Saves me the effort of explanation when having to suggest a new idea to a boss.
This is a great idea. One of the biggest challenges facing a city or airport for snow removal is simply space to store it and trucks on hand to move it. Reducing the volume by removing the air to create a denser final product to move and store makes perfect sense.
As Soon as I hear back on my bid to purchase JFK Airport, I'll seriously consider this fantastic piece of equipment
This would work great for my big international airport
We have the stripped down version of the blue truck called Roberto.....ours is called Manual.
I'd like to recommend the "Snow Heater!"
So ur telling me this is a combine and Grain cart for snow
The tiny air holes are a very smart idea!!
icelineman Until they freeze shut
They might not due to the compression. There may actually be enough heat generated in the act of compressing to keep the holes open.
Glad this video was recommended, JUST walked out of signing the paperwork for my new airport. Question, does this machine work on gravel?
Can you compress gravel?
It's 2:00AM and I'm watching this from the edge of the biggest desert in the world...
Thanks YT for presenting this to my feed. Interesting and awesome. 😎
Just ordered one for my runway.
I am subscriber 177🇨🇦
After 4 years of research and testing with all kinds of snow, the SNOWCUBER works great!!
This is what Montreal and Québécois needs!!
Hi Peanut Butter. Do you have contacs overthere?
Wow I didnt even know that I needed a snow cuber. Hell its not even snowing anymore pretty much in the UK but... SOLD!
My Montana ranch could use a couple to get to the blacktop...
of course it works great with this tiny bit of snow but i would like to see how it does with 1 meter of snow
Cool. But where are the cubes? I was expecting to see cubes.
Cubes as in cubic measuring units but you knew that, or did you? I think you did.
he's a lying sack of shit just like most salesmen, dumbass
Yeah, I was expecting big white cubes, how disappointing. :/ Would have been excellent building material for an epic snow fort.
3/5 I've had this for a year and it works great but it still no show cubes. I don't know what the gestation period of a snow cube is but will update this review when one is birthed.
What's the Vmax at any given depth of snow compared to a conventional snowblover, and how many tons pr/hour is it capable of removing?
The speed to load snow into a truck is a maximum of 5 km/h. The capacity is 500 t/h. You do not need more capacity for truck loading. It is all about safe loading. Please visit our website for the latest snow compressor. www.snocom.com
I wonder if this will fit on my Snapper zero turn?
Fantastic piece of equipment, shout out to Archimedes and his screw....bring it to Canada.
Wonder where this snow get caught up at all blowers have issues I see that this shoot at top looks like a spot for plugs but I would love to test it out on roadways could save money on trucks
Good idea using this for schiphol airport, small problem. It rarely snow even a cm in the netherlands
Why is the Engadin JohnDeere operator wears Schipol airport jacket? Great simple invention!
This is a big job, get the Cumboni.
Looks like a good fit to clean my drive way
So they took a blower for the back of a tractor and put it on the front and gave it a taller shot how many time do we have to reinvent the wheel and act like it's something new hum
What’s the price I would like to order one for my residential driveway ?
you can send my an email mensonides@snocom.com
Just ordered five of them for my 1 vehicle driveway in Florida.
Lmfao 🤣
Seems like a lot of work when they could just use tire chains on the planes
Lmfao
I need this this for my personal international Airport
Wal-Mart needs this !
I wonder if it works on sand? I mean you may sell one to Airport in the desert.
Sand is no option. You can`t compress it. It works faster with a sweeper
I just wonder if a diy er can make a smaller version of the same
Snocom has teamed up with a professional developer who also built our latest snowcuber the MK6
check ''montreal removal snow'' on youtube if you can compact more than that I will be surprise. I drove truck in Montreal like that and it'S very compact!! The snow stick inside the box!!! But interesting concept.

Just picked up the Snocom Jr. for my sidewalk.
Waarom draagt die knakker een jas van Schiphol?
Untill the snow is wet and the holes blocked sounds like a mess to work on
The holes never block. The snowcuber works with very dry and very wet snow
Can it make igloo snow blocks?? That would be sweet...
ffjsb That's what I thought it was going to make. Cubes of snow this was a disappointing ad.
Man I really want a snow cuber now, don't even have an airport
why not put down grates where planes park. that way snow would flal through grate?
you guys should make something that turns snow in to usable ice cubes
If anyone is curious I use a snowcuber on my 2 track in upper Michigan to remove snow and small saplings up to 2” thick...makes a good mulcher in the off season
Ok but how does it handle a zombie horde?
Would this work in my driveway?
How many grammar mistakes can this machine remove per hour?
You win 16 internets my good man!
How about we swap some bushfire heat for some of your snow pleassseee
Do you know what compressed snow is called?
A: Ice.
Pro tip: for 1cm of snow, use a broom.
But will it do my 2-car driveway
It never snows where i live (Brisbane) but still i watch this mmmmmmm?
Where's the cubes?

Snow weighs roughly 1/4 of a dump trucks cargo weight. If this machine wasn’t such a laughing stock, it would work, in theory.
I live in tropical climate, just below the equator. What can i do with this? Impress my brother in law?
Run a couple dozen children though it?
@@benf5091 but sir, children are my main source of income (in legal way).
Nothing will ever beat a shovel
I can't wait for this weather again 🙃🙃🙃
How come you there is no infrastructures built (like in Japan), to melt snow into the underground sewer system and let the water flow into rivers ?
🤔 this will do the job for my driveway
0:40 Iron Man suit
Shipol always invests in the latest technologies, some of which pay for themselves.
Great compaction, but no proof shown.
If I win the lottery I wanna buy one so I can save the day here in my town
The driver wears a safety jacket from the airport in Amsterdam, but the video got made in the mountains. There is no mountains in Amsterdam, nor is there snow.
Price??
If you have to ask then you cant afford it .
Buy one, get one for free, for the low price of 500k (truck not included)
Kjell Sundberg your soul
Missed a spot.
I suppose the tractor is an option.
Hi Justin. The tractor is an option. At this moment we also design a smaller Snowcuber for Cities and parking places.

Probably didn't sell too well this winter (2019-2020) .... Least not in WI / midwest.. haven't hardly had ANY snow worth busting out machinery for..
“Does it run on, Propane?” H.H
Larry enticer hates this thing!
I need one for my driveway...
Breaker breaker this is alpha mega 232 coming in from the north at 4500 ft permission to land? I like Microsoft flight simulator
I’m gettin one for my sidewalks...yea buddy
I'm craving a slushi now
Why is this in my recommendations?
What o dont understand is why dont they just add heating strip wires in the pavement powered by solar to hear up? That would make life sooooooo easy!!!! People can go to the moon but can't make inventions like that??
For the same reason we just move snow instead of melting it into water, the amount of energy needed is monstrous
Sola and drains?

Very poor ad.
Did you call yourselves SNOCOM because of SOCOM
Don't worry those snow will be gone soon with all these carbon emissions and climate change.

@@antimatter4733 that's called winter
@@paulnovak833 yeah, winter in the middle of spring
Archimedes would be proud.....
I really need this
You see this in Montreal Canada every year lol nothing new
Freakin awesome
Here comes all the TH-cam recommendations comments
I already have the John Deere.
This thing is damn cool
Is this a joke?
Or you could just boil it
Im just wo dering why they brought a john deer for this...i mean come on like using a flame thrower to light a cigarette
Cool
Farming snow
That thing looks slower and has less power, It won't be able to get that snow into my neighbours driveway. I'll pass.
