I thought it was going to do well on the jersey. The spandex looked really great! You have the best videos Anastasia!
Aww thanks for watching :)
I really like it on the fabrics it worked on! I will definitely be trying it out! Thanks
Welcome :)
I think it would look pretty on baby girls clothing and cotton knit pajamas.
Totally!
I hadn't given this any thought until now. Might give this a try on a future project.
👏 woohoo 🥳
Oh this could be a series, this is awesome! I mess with the stitches on my machine but I end up only using a few bc I can never decide if I like them. Now I know its bc of the fabric type!!
Oh yeah the fabric type & application can make all the difference.
I was just looking at a vintage pattern that called for this stitch!
How fun! Is it lingerie?
I’ll have to see if that’s a cam for my vintage machine. I think a light fabric might work best for this, but I could also see using it on a ruffle on a knit bathing suit.😊
That would be really cute on a ruffle for a bathing suit 👙
Thank you
Hi Anastasia, I’m wondering how the fabric is folder for the shell tuck stitch- is it done to complete the hem?
Might be nice on the edge of a collar or cuffs.
Totally
Definitely on a collar or placket on a blouse! I can hear my friends now, "you didn't make that!"
@@lavernecady9390 a collar would be pretty
Hello Anastasia,
For so long I've wanted a sewing machine that does the many stitches which a computerized one can do. I've read about those machines being peculiar and "something else" to have serviced when you need it. Yet, i see you have computerized machines. Are they really hard to take care of or as "peculiar" as I've read/heard they are ? I'd love to have an embroidery machine one day, but, am scared of the computerized parts and the possibility of having to have it serviced someday. 🥴
Oh ! And, watching this video has made me want to do a decorative stitch on my clothes as I can on my machine. TYSM for sharing your techniques and great knowledge with us. Love your channel . 😻❣️😍
I teach on all computerized machines and they really get put to the test on durability. They are no more work then a normal machine. You should take in all machines once a year for a good cleaning and tune up. I think you would be veery happy with a digital machine.
Thank you for watching :)
It looked good on the spandex, but the stitch won’t stretch much right?
It still stretches! It’s so cool!
It’s still technically a zig zag, so it should!
