Very inspiring thanks for sharing your adventure. I started last summer this kind of trip and it is the best touring I've ever done. 4 of theme where i learned the hard way, broke some spokes, chains and a crank. 613 , 690, 600. 704 km my 4 try's. Seeing that really good strong bike of yours seems to make it more safe, keep making theses videos. 🚲🌎
Hey & thanks for the comment👍. These tour videos are always fun to make and watch when it's the cold winter season outside.. The spokes sometimes break on my Enduro bike as well. It is necessary to adjust the spokes from time to time so that it happens less often. I'm always over-prepared, I carry a spare set of spokes, inner and outer tubes, and whatever else I need on the road for repairs. 700km... Good to know there are other awesome electric cyclists out there besides me ⚡🚲
@@DatEbikeGuy my videos not as good as yours but here is one of mine th-cam.com/video/VNGmqNIs4qg/w-d-xo.html, i hope you enjoy, and if you go trough my videos you will find some winter rides as well. I can't wait for the snow to melt i want to go out there again.
Indeed. The best charger ever made 👍. I've had it since 2018 and use it to charge my batteries almost every day. Thanks to 80-90% charging, one battery has lasted 50 000 km and is now going on 6 years. It has certainly paid for itself. So glad you're soon the owner of this fantastic charger 🙂
Hey & I´m glad that my videos are reaching a cycling-friendly country like Netherlands 🙂. Very interesting question and fortunately I have the answer. I did the same trip a couple of years ago on my recumbent bike, I also have a video entitled "Recumbent E-bike - 600km/372mi in two days (throttle only)" is was 50km longer and throttle only, total ~600km and 6618Wh consumed vs Enduro 8900Wh. The weather was pretty much the same on both trips, windy. When I was doing this ride on my Enduro bike, I used the pedals from time to time because I was afraid that I might not reach my destination. So maybe I was saving 1kw of energy. For sure I can say that recumbent is much more efficient.
Thanks for watching and commenting. BTW when I was young I watched series like A-Team, Macgyver, AirWolf and of course Knight Rider and still love them. I've watched youtube videos of fans who have made their own e.g.. A-Team car replica. One of the A-Team car replicas is also in my country and I have even seen one in my town. And now I have a subscriber who is modding Knight Rider🚘, it's an honour. I subscribed to your channel as well. 🙂
@@DatEbikeGuy , you now have a lifetime fan 😎🤟. Keep up the great work and thanks for being a fan of Knight Rider and being a new subscriber to my Knight Rider page , hope you like the tech work that we put into our replica.
Hey and No. You probably meant Tomos mopeds. The Enduro Ebike has decent suspension and I can carry 4-5kw batteries and a touring load. If any new project then it could be this Recumbent costum bike, welded from start to finish. Thanks for the Comment 👍
There are some beutiful places in Estonia, there are here in the Uk too but mainly in the North and South not so much here, but there are some nice coastlines to ride along. Do you do much night time riding, I cycle 100 miles a week commuting, and mostly in the dark and some of the route on unlit roads.
Hey Actually, I do a lot of driving at night because the distances I cover are always long, so getting home around 2-3 at night is pretty normal for me. There's nothing better than chilling out somewhere far away and discovering new places. In winter I don't make Sunday trips. My weekly mileage also averages 100+ miles, i.e. to work and back home.
@@DatEbikeGuy I like to see the fox's, owls and other wildlife in the spring, like you I cycle in the earky hours, only because I woek shifts, anyway springtime is a good time to ride early hours,
Hey.
Hey Thank You. I was looking forward for a very long time when I would be able to start processing this video. Bike Touring videos are always a pleasure to make and edit. Perhaps the hardest part is choosing the background music that fits a particular scene and it´s not copyrighted.
Muuseas mu youtube kanalil on ka video selle kohta pealkirjaga "This Original Kickstand Will Wreck Your Enduro E-bike, Get a Motorcross One Instead"
Jah ja lisan veel, et kui tahad "out of the box" lahendust siis bike24, saksa bike shopis on äärmiselt suur valik tugijalgasi. Probleem on ka selles, et kui ratast toetad tugijalale, puudub sellel reguleerimise võimalus ehk ratas toetab liialt suure kraadiga tugijala peale, mispeale tekib sellele suur stress. Olen varasemalt kasutanud nt. puuklotse mida tugijala alla poetada, et ratas enam vähem otse on ja tugijalale minimaalne koormus langeb.
Hey. I'm still alive and kicking. I'm a little late with the videos. If all goes well I'll post a video this weekend. And with a few weekends break then a new video. So touring videos will be coming in the future and a breaking distance records will also be coming as well. Thanks for showing interest, it's rare and heart-warming🙂👍 .
Hey. It is really not difficult at all. TH-cam is full of tutorials on how to make this bike and it's completely free. I did it with the help of youtube as well, as there were a lot of things I hadn't come across before.
Tõepoolest. Ma olen õelnud ja mõelnud seda alati. See on nagu ajamasin minna tagasi sinna ilusase aega. Alati tuleks suvest võtta maksimum, iga ilus päev ära kasutada maksimumiga, et talvisel koledal ajal on nn. rasvakiht meeldivatest hetkedest :)
First of all, I want to thank you for your comments, whether good or khm... But why not? For me, I started cycling before I had even learned to walk. A very long cycling history I have traditionally ridden with a heavy load of 35+kg and weeks on the road, sometimes 200km a day. It's brutal and especially when you live in such a windy environment. Choosing an electric bike was easy. Because I don't own a car and hate them. Therefore the electric bike is my car replacement and a leisure activity. I cover hundreds of km in a day and at the end of the day I am not dead tired or sweaty. You don't need insurance or a driving licence, and you can drive it anywhere.. My regret is that I should have discovered ebike earlier...
Can concur. I cannot afford the operating costs of a more conventional vehicle, so it’s Ebike or nothing. I’m too old, sickly, and infirm to manage *real* distances without assistance any more. Unaided, 10 miles is a stretch. Aided - I can go *MUCH* further and not be bedridden for days after. Public transport is a poor option, in comparison - largely due to the need to “act normal/not disabled” around other people. This takes so much out of me that it’s an emergency-only situation.
