I think it is cause he is recording his studio vocals with lot of effort. I love how often you can hear, his deep breath during verses and lot of long takes. He is really pushing his voice on studio recordings, so he can do that live easily.
They shouldn't bother playing any songs from the first two albums. They don't do it right. I can understand that there are different members with different play styles, and that some parts may be difficult to play exactly as they were recorded, but it doesn't have to be so off. Maybe they don't rehearse those songs enough.
they are slowed down just a little. that's fine. this current lineup has a better dynamic. their sound is meaty and concise. I've seen them live when wrongdoers came out loved every second.
Not sure but it sounds like the dissonant parts aren't exactly right because the guitarists aren't using the same guitar tunings as the original songs. But they were spot on during the anniversary tour.
Well. Considering any of the songs from the first two records were shown to me by the person who wrote them, they are very much correct. Furthermore, As mentioned in another comment, O'God is dead on during that tour because it was about said record. Live we change and mix things up constantly to entertain ourselves and that will not change. This has been done even with the original people who wrote said songs. Your comment comes off as arrogant and biased, and very uninformed about how our band functions. And lastly, those songs are very easy as everyone were teenagers at the time. To insinuate that they are too difficult for 30+ year old guys who've dedicated their lives to making music is offensive and silly. We don't play the songs the same because we don't want to, nor do we have to, but even on that, there is zero changed other than accommodating tunings to save time in a set list because we use up to 4 tunings in a set, some of which involve only one or two strings and can add up when trying to include as much back catalogue as we can.
Это было восхитительно!
This set list is so awesome. Great mix of old and new and all the bangers. Shot very well and the audio is on point!
