Absolutely love this band. Their music, especially "The Anti-Mother" and "Wrongdoers" helped get me through a bad period after I escaped a 2 year toxic relationship. "Polar Similar" stays in my car for regular replays.
Awesome to hear their music helped so much. I think "The Anti-Mother" is a severely underrated album and if I HAD to choose haha, I would say it's my favourite NJ album. Hope you're doing well man!
they just keep getting better. definitely one of those one-in-a-thousand bands. i find it even MORE impressive when you see how many times members have changed. hell at this point the entire original band is no longer in norma jean, but the essence and the sound and the evolution is still there as if its been the same 5 dudes all along
really wish some of these guys could have stuck around to the All Hail and Deathrattle era but it's still cool to see a snippet of this particular timeline
I agree man, this was a really cool lineup / incarnation / era of the band, post their "classic" line up from back in the day. But you kind of said it right with the word "snippet" - a solid NJ line up these days seems to last for only a snippet haha
So good! Been listening to Norma Jean since 2005, they are still one of my favorite bands ever, every album they make is different but you can still hear that it's Norma jean and that's what's amazing about every album! They are one of the only bands with as many albums that they have that never has a bad album. They never get old and they continue to be a huge inspiration in music and in life! Great documentary!
I love this so much, thanks for uploading it man. One of the greatest bands in my lifetime. I wish they went on tour with ZAO. That would complete my life
You're welcome man, I'm stoked you enjoyed it! It was a dream come true to jump on a few shows with them in France. Such a solid back catalogue of music and I had a lot of fun picking the soundtrack to this documentary :)
@@LifeIsPeachyProductions you did an incredible job dude! Top notch job! You got a great opportunity and from the sounds of it an even better experience to tell people. I’m really happy you got to do that!
@@thinkingjack Aw thank you so much dude, I truly appreciate such a nice response. it was a great opportunity and I'm very thankful for it; to work with a band whose music I really love. Have a great day man and I'm glad you enjoyed the video so much :)
What the fuck!? How did I not know this existed? This was fantastic! Great work man! NJ has been my uncontested favorite band for 15 years and to this day I can listen to the discography straight through without a moment of boredom. They’re really something special.
I literally left the country for a deployment and missed out on this US tour for it's entirety and I was so fucking pissed. Still am because I forgot ABR toured with them. Pretty certain NJ or ABR had a FB post asking people who'd they like to see them tour with and I wrote in the other band.....low and behold, they listened and I missed it! Sweet doc though! Saved!!
anyone else find it weird to hear Matt talk about the perseverance of them as a band but its not even the same members that made Bless The Martyr anymore
Norma Jean has been and always will be the soundtrack to my life.
I fucking love Norma Jean. Epic band.
This band doesn’t nearly get the love they deserve.

Thank you so much mate! Norma Jean are exactly the same for me, and they were an absolute pleasure to work / hang with!
This is awesome. Been a fan since 7th grade now I’m 25. Still play them all the time 👍🏼
great documentary. Norma Jean are one of my favourite all time bands.
Thank you! And for me too :)
Miss this line up!..My favorite NJ band members.

Bring back Jeff!
Great doc! Shot so well.
Hate to be that guy, but it is Matt Greiner, not Griener.
Whatever though, this was shot and edited so very well!
Thank you so much checking it out and the comment :) Damn haha, I am sorry about that!
Blissful chaos that makes my ears holes happy 😁
They straight up said that dude didn't do crap in the band. Damn.
Son los malditos amos del metalcore con su album polar similar 🤟🏻👊🏼☠️🍺
Agreed!
I think this was the tour that I was supposed to see them in London but Corey got sick and they had to cancel
Jean you are mine have been will be. Haste the day I join you in March at the Voltage lounge.

That's what I don't get. . I do think that's strange . I thought wrongdoers and polar similar were amazing and the band has basically switched over
Love how Jeff is wearing a '68 shirt hahahaha
