When Nebula's helmet closed I realized how this one-time villain got to finally be a magnificent hero, an avenger! Gunn needs to incorporate this into his movie too. Rocket and Nebula have spent 5 years with the avengers and earthlings. Learning from Cap, Nat, Rhodey. Show us that improvement. They now have a better idea about how to operate as a team. Rocket can now actually lead the Guardians.
To be fair there is also the fact that Starlord, Drax & Mantis got to fight with both Stark and then later Cap & the rest of the team. It will be interesting for all the heroes on what impact that battle at Avengers HQ had.

Never really understood why Cap was sometimes the leader but I guess I missed that it's not he's a perfect soldier but a good man and they are just following that same kid from Brooklyn
In the comics, whenever outsiders questioned Cap's leadership, Thor was known for saying that he would follow Cap to the gates of Hell if need be. Sometimes the leadership changed. Iron Man led them for a while. Thor at one time. Black Widow briefly led them. Wasp was the leader for a time. Black Panther would take on the role when necessary. Vision briefly led and expanded, picking Hawkeye to lead the West Coast Avengers.
What made me tears up in this scene is the fact that after 11 years we got to a point where ant-man, nebula, and rocket is in the same scene with the og avengers doing time travel and it all just fits!

For me, @1:19, everything changed in the MCU. Even though we had GoTG, the quantum realm, Infinity Stones and aliens, it never quite felt like a comic book movie. It always felt like Science Fiction. It was grounded and believable. But this scene when the realization, by the Avengers, that they are going back in time, really made this feel like a true comic book movie.

I rewatched the film recently. The way Tony looks at Cap here is everything. It’s both a pained and appreciative expression. No quips. No banter. Just an expression that shouts that he missed him. Nat’s excited “See you in a minute” on the rewatch broke me too. In CACW Tony and Steve felt like divorcing parents fighting over the kids (the rest of the Avengers). Even the comic writer(s) said that Thanos succeeded in the snap because Tony and Steve were not together. Their friendship was crucial. To see them regard one another kindly here was everything. Especially considering it was the beginning of their last moments together but they didn’t know that.
I like how Rocket and Scott were in agreement that Steve is good with speeches. And since we saw Rocket treating him like a puppy earlier, I want to see more of these two characters together in future Avenger movies. Maybe in "The Kang Dynasty" and "Secret Wars" we could see them being good buds. If they were paired up together in this time heist, they would be a hilarious duo.
Avengers: Endgame really nailed it. This is the fight of their lives (literally), space and time travel involved, matching uniform, great speech/lines. Just perfect.
I'm still amazed that most of what the Avengers are wearing during this scene was CGI. I thought for years that they were practical pieces, actual suits the actors had to put on. Nope. The vast majority of it is CGI and it's honestly some of the best CGI in the entire film. Also: Do you think the head honchos responsible for the DCEU ever watch this scene and cry?
Rocket became a Guardian of the Galaxy in 2014 and he lost his team/family in 2018 in the snap. He has been with the Avengers since the snap up until 2023. Rocket has been an Avenger longer than he has been a Guardian. I hope in GotG V.3 they explore Rocket's transformation of a life without his family for 5 years.
All the while I thought Rocket handed Hawkeye a miniatuarized toy of his ship only to realize that it is the actual ship downsized thanks to the Pym Particle. Hank Pym's contribution to the Avengers is tremendous!
You can tell from this scene alone that Tony was more that ready for it to be over. You can see the level of stress they put into his character at this point. Job well done Robert
This whole scene with original avengers theme in the background hyping us up etc is just perfect/beautiful. I love it all the way to the top! Just one of the greatest masterpieces ever created in movie cinema history ever experienced in a film.
Although both Iron Man and Captain America are great I feel like Captain America has always been the leader. Like even in the first Avengers movie, when they're about to fight the Chitauri, Tony says, "Call it, Cap" referring to Steve to tell them what their job is as to how to fight knowing Captain America knows a lot more about leadership and strategy having fought in WW2.
May be a bit of a stretch but after watching Infinity War recently this scene has me thinking of Loki's line from the beginning. "I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again" at 0:18 seeing all our Heroes having the sun shine on them as they set the plan that will eventually save everyone in motion definitely makes me think of that line. Even if Thor may not want to be there at the moment xD
Chris Evans really sold this speech Knowing what lies ahead even if they don’t 100% know all of them do whatever it takes to achieve the goal of bringing everyone back
Idk what it is about this scene... The music? The suit up? The fact they were about to time travel? It's something that makes it my favourite in the MCU.
Best speech in MCU. And Cap (Chris) was the only one who could do it like that. It is not the speech only but also the OST that makes it epic. Damn, what a great movie series the MCU is/was.
I agree… five years later, it’s still my favorite comic book movie. I feel like they should have rebooted after it or had a 5 yr hiatus to properly plan their future
1:17 The way Steve looks at Natasha there, he's just so contented with the giddiness, excitement and happiness she has with how they're about to get everyone back, it's heartbreaking how he didn't get see her again or witness her reaction to being able to reunite with their friends who got blipped 😢💔💔💔
Low key I was tearing up during this scene with the biggest smile on my face- a lot of y’all don’t know but for us MCU fans that year between Infinity War and Endgame was AGONIZING.
Two months ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your families, you know your missions.
I don't know why but this speech brings tears on my eyes.
0:47
Tony: I've missed you cap.
the portal scene was the most epic scene in end game.
Cap : Hold my speech.
Bro Chris Evans let's get this son of a bitch at the beginning before the title card had the crowd at my cinema and myself cheering
The way Tony smiled at cap and Natasha's smile in the end -
It tears me up. It's was their last fight together.
Avengers: Endgame really nailed it. This is the fight of their lives (literally), space and time travel involved, matching uniform, great speech/lines. Just perfect.
It could've been done better but it's quite better than the second Dr Strange film
No wonder Captain America is called "God's righteous man"
I can't physically throw up in my mouth.
@@trevorphilips9065 Then don't.
@@amarnathcr7335 Do you not understand the line?

nat saying, “see you in a minute” still hits hard 😔
Still never fails to give me chills. Steve could really inspire.
When they all sync up and put their fists in the middle, the overhead shot looks like the original arc reactor. Nice touch
Drax was actually in this scene, he was just so incredibly still.
1:05 - when you see Rocket wearing the Avengers Logo =
Rocket became a Guardian of the Galaxy in 2014 and he lost his team/family in 2018 in the snap. He has been with the Avengers since the snap up until 2023. Rocket has been an Avenger longer than he has been a Guardian. I hope in GotG V.3 they explore Rocket's transformation of a life without his family for 5 years.
@@justsomeguyx.1645 Yup
JustSomeGuy X. Well damn I never saw it that way
All the while I thought Rocket handed Hawkeye a miniatuarized toy of his ship only to realize that it is the actual ship downsized thanks to the Pym Particle. Hank Pym's contribution to the Avengers is tremendous!
@@pepperdiao37 Yup!
The best among the Captain's speeches. Letter to Tony was great as well.
I would go back in time, not to get the stones or anything but to rewatch this in theaters again with all the crowd.
I love how Rocket is able to appreciate Steve's speech. He's so used to having a team that goofs off most of the time.
You can tell from this scene alone that Tony was more that ready for it to be over. You can see the level of stress they put into his character at this point. Job well done Robert
Captain America the man of award winning leadership speeches!
You would know wouldn't you Batman
Cough cough jon snow
@@brentleysadiki358 nope Jon Snow is nothing XD
This gave me mad goosebumps in the cinema.. still does in fact
Captain America is someone you’ll run through a wall for. It’s so depressing to think that this is Cap’s last speech ever 😢
This whole scene with original avengers theme in the background hyping us up etc is just perfect/beautiful. I love it all the way to the top! Just one of the greatest masterpieces ever created in movie cinema history ever experienced in a film.
Darren Cross: "Do you think you can stop the future, with a heist?!"
this scene:
I guess he did truly did died an avenger
We all were Paul Rudd when we listened to Cap's speech.
Always bring tears to my eyes...
1:15 Nat's "see you in a minute" was sooo adorable ^^
:(
That would have been a really crappy way to die...if her name was Gamora.
The greatest leadership SPEECH OF ALL TIME.
I don't think anyone can guage how huge it is when a personality like rocket's gives not only a compliment, but a SINCERE one.
Steve always knew how to give a damn good speech, he always looked out for them. And The Avengers aren’t a team, they’re a family
Dude was the Martin Luther King Jr of MCU
Yo the way tony looks at steve is heartwarming ,thoer friendship is really something else
Chris Evans really sold this speech
Knowing what lies ahead even if they don’t 100% know all of them do whatever it takes to achieve the goal of bringing everyone back
Idk what it is about this scene... The music? The suit up? The fact they were about to time travel? It's something that makes it my favourite in the MCU.
"Whatever it takes" the words Tony heard and not hearing "we'll do it together" made him smile and not mad
Idc what you say, being in the studio where the music is being recorded. Goosebumps all day.
Cap's speech!
Tony's reaction!
Rocket and Scott's reviews!
Natasha's happy face!
Avenger's theme music!
What more else to provoke a Marvel fan? 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
When the music swells and their helmets all come down i get chills every time
Best speech in MCU.
@@noobmaster69426 NOOBMASTER, lol
And that's why Cap was worthy all along
"Stroke those keys, Jolly Green!" gets me everytime 😂
Tonys nicknames for everyone were unbeatable.
I love Tony's expressions at 0:53! It really shows how much he missed working with Steve
Two months ago, we lost. All of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. Today, we have a chance to take it all back. You know your families, you know your missions. Stay at home, don’t get others sick. One PPE each. No mistakes. No do-overs. Most of us are going to our homes, but that doesn't mean we should know what to expect. Be careful. Look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives. And we're going to win. Whatever it takes. Good luck.
WHATEVER IT TAKES!
I'm done🤣
"im pretty bad at this"
"I know right!"
COVID is a scam, you brainwashed fool.
0:59 rocket is all like wow what a leader
Leaps and bounds compared to starlord LOL
At 1:20 once the tunnel activates and the theme starts, it’s one of the most epic moments in the film 🎞. There won’t ever be anymore better moments like this in the MCU that’s one thing that’ll be missed the most.
0:29 the way rocket had to lift his arm up is so funny
💀
Rocket: He’s pretty good at that
Me: The rabbit is correct and clearly the smartest among you.
You know why Rocket survived while the rest of the Guardians (except Nebula) didn't?
*It was wabbit season!*
Tony in heaven
"Agent Romanoff, you miss me?"
Marvel can never make an iconic piece like this again ......
They can in future
The last great MCU film. Ironically called - Endgame.
I think we got no way home GOTG 3 if your talking about film then yes we got some 2 good movies last year
Black Widow: See you in a minute
He Who Remains: LOL
I swear an unintentional power of that serum was making incredible inspirational speeches
Paul rudd (Scott) is so so funny 🤣 everyone is walking so serious and he is just being him as always lmaoo
*Love you 3000,*
*Tony*
I swear I will have my grandchildren and kids to watch this... it a legend
All these years it built up to this moment and it sure as hell didn't disappoint, Endgame and Infinity War were the peak of the MCU and nothing will ever beat them ever
I agree
The reason he's the leader is because he inspires. When he says "And WE'RE gonna win." I will go to hell and back with that man.
