You have to admit, after spending years of establishing themselves in the MCU, seeing all those heroes and characters pour in and unite into that army is one of the best scenes in cinema history.
one of best yet without all those scenes in the previous movies it would mean shit to see a bunch of nobodies from comics run around screen for 3 seconds
One of the best scenes, Thanos is just a crazy good villain at really making you feel legitimate fear. I also just loved seeing Tony, Cap, and Thor an iconic trio, both in fights they’ve had and conversations.
Thanos was savage in this film and was nearly unstoppable that required not the most powerful heroes like Captain Marvel to defeat him, but a mortal man with armor and the stones to destroy the ferocious beast once and for all.
I think alot of people forget that the Thanos they fought in this movie isn't the same as the one from 2018. That Thanos had been made humble and lost much in search of the stones and the roadblocks he encountered. This one hasn't had that humbling so instead of admitting his plan was unworkable he decided to try and make the universe fit his ideology in perhaps the ultimate display of his narcissism.
Facts - This Thanos hadn’t lost Gamora or his Black Order. When he was like “I’m gonna enjoy it (reducing everything in the universe, specifically earth, to atoms) very very much,” we knew that was pure malice. This Thanos really lives up to the name of “The Mad Titan”.
@@uzer141 Yeah bro, this version of Thanos was literally a warlord and genocidal killer. He was still going planet to planet killing off half the population by hand.
You can say the same for all groups involving Captain America, Iron man as they are both gone after this movie. For example, Spiderman-Iron man duo, Tony Stark-Pepper couple, Tony Stark-Bruce banner duo, Captain America-WInter soldier duo etc too
I love that Hemsworth was against the original idea of Thor magically slimming down when suited up. Depression isn’t something that’s fixed overnight with one nice conversation, it’s a process, and this was one of Thor’s first steps in improving himself

That should have been stuff only Vision was capable of (via the mind stone being in his forehead), and it just kinda diminishes Ultron's presence. EMH did a great job at adapting Ultron, and that definitely should have been where they took cues from

Not to mention the fact that he went to meet them not with the full force he commanded, but by himself. He was so utterly confident in his victory that he deemed that he alone would be enough to win the battle. It was only when he wanted to crush Steves spirit that he called on his army. If he had done that from the start, it wouldnt have been a very long fight.
No he HAD respect, that's why he spoke calmly to them, didn't insult them or call them weak, waited for them to come to him and faced them alone instead of just having the ships shoot the 3 of them while they were out in the open or order his full army to just march on the remains of the building while he stayed back. Or course he was afraid. Fear drives all of the most powerful characters to fight harder and to attempt to avoid death. Not showing it does not mean he does not have it.
Thanos was class A narcissist, the dude literally acknowledged how flawed his “solution” was but still somehow tried to make it seem like problem was everyone else. The guy was obsessed with death and deluded himself into thinking it was some kind of philosophical destiny bs. I’m gonna miss him.
I think they could have portrayed Thanos better. After being shown the error of his ways, the sane and logical thing to do would be to abandon the plan and get on with his life. From the beginning, simply eliminating half of life was an awkward direction. Fighting everyone to save them was an awkward direction. Infinity war could’ve been written better. This is apparent because we had no idea what Thanos wanted until the second trailer, and we waited 10 years for a war that lasted a day. The war should’ve spilled over into the second part, making the hunt for the stones longer and more eventful, or Thanos should’ve simply been after universal domination, snapping half of life out of existence as an intimidation method. The Russos told us we would know why Thanos was the baddest, then promptly abandoned that concept by having a group of rejects nearly beat him on Titan. The writing and planning could use some improvement.
@@theirishhero81 dude that takes away everything philosophical that was in him. Thanos eliminating half of life is in his eyes a savior.

The little nuance of Thanos getting up turning his back to them is so badass. Not one ounce of respect or fear given.
Not to mention the fact that he went to meet them not with the full force he commanded, but by himself. Predatory behavior. Slow movements when not in combat combined with the turning of the back showing confidence.

Imagine if Thanos constantly stuttered during his iconic lines…
“Sh.sh..sh..shred…”
Thanos: *starts talking*
Thor: *throws stormbreaker into his head*
Thor: "you talk too much"
Nah, imagine Professor Hulk transform into The World Breaker Hulk and he went to Thanos and one shotted Thanos. Thanos passed away and World Breaker said "Puny Titan."
Is this gow reference
@@eugenewilliams426 That would have been cringe and out of the world
@@eugenewilliams426 well if he went world breaker everyone would die so no it would be useless. Maybe Thor and cap marvel would survive the gamma blast but they would soon die too
@@crainex5857 If this cringe, than the Thor one is also cringe puny Thor fanboy
Today I noticed that even before Steve and Tony, thor was there with all his grief and anger staring dead at Thanos. He would have imagined what will happen in few minutes, so he was literally ready to be that badass god of thunder from being a fat funny wasted guy.
Its his payback time
They did him bad
@@SUNILKUMAR-yd2vj they did him bad bc the Russo bros have some sort of hard on for both Captains and Wanda. Thor is the God of Thunder and for that reason alone he's the strongest in the MCU.
@@johnallen2311 I mean cap America deserves it and all but like, cap marvel and Wanda are srsly overrated
@@johnallen2311 They didn't do him bad, they showed how he was broken by Infinity War yet still kept going and was badass despite being out of shape.
I loved this Thor. He's so vengeful and dark, full of sorrow and fight. I feel like we should've got him earlier with the death of his mother.
Yeah, Thor became better with time, first getting his hair cut, than discovering his "lightning form"(Odin Force), than getting Stormbreaker, getting far more serious, too bad he became fathor and couldn't go 5 minutes without a beer...
@Just A RANDOM DUDE A little too early to judge?
In love of thunder, he’ll be a lot more fit I think.
@@Us3r739 Oh yeah most definitely. The set photos show hemsworth more buff than he ever has been
Thor got nerfed thanx to the 5 years, because in infinity war, he fking decimated thanos alone.
A Soldier Out Of Time, A Billionaire With A Sharp Mind And A Literal God Fighting Together Against The Mad Titan Is All I Wanted To See In My Life
A god who fell from grace who learnt to find his honour again. A man who suffered the consequences of his actions who used his powers to make things right. A soldier born with nothing given the power to do everything. All against a threat to existence itself. The true, final battle of the Avengers.
Beautiful,your comment and the film💯
Beautiful summery of the big 3
and every single 1 of them got selfish interests... except thanos... he dont gain anything from it... avengers good guys? they all couldnt cope with reality... thus they went to past so they could bend reality to their prefered state... best example rogers
@@baksannniamnn5518 Well, why not your loved ones were erased from existence because of some guy that thought what he was doing was right. But he wasn't because he sacrificed innocent people. Be honest most of us are the types of people who would go back and redo a failed test to get a better grade if we could. We can all understand. Regardless of the reason Thanos did what he did h was still a villain. Look at how many suffered. Besides if he was doing something all that great why not at least try to explain it to everyone. He had followers why not sacrifice them instead since his cause needed to be filled through sacrifice.
Just three idiots like every one of us who can't let go. Only big.
That line from Thor though:" Lets kill him properly this time"
Has such a nice ring to it and gives me chills.
Whoever wrote the lines for Thanos really deserves a gold star for doing a good job.
For real its so chilling
the words yes...but.....thanos is apparently stronger then the 3....yet he couldn't finish either one off......it took to long.....
for real though🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Well yeah, thanos's every line was quote...what he was saying was absolutely correct.
Was that a homecoming reference ned says something similar
Even 5 years after the movie came out, i still have chills.
So do i
It's an amazing movie
Vision once said: "Our very strength invites challenge. Challenge incites conflict. And conflict... breeds catastrophe."
Thanos proves that point...
You should've said that in a civil war clip
Exactly even i guess Thor or Captain says this to fury in avenger first part
That you're the ones who's inviting other worlds to challenge you because of your power because fury and shield have been developing weapons with tesseract's power
And where's Vision now😢
@@morganlasch8750 He's dead.
@@SpFlash1523 I know, so sad😢
"let's kill him properly this time"
is probably one of the greatest lines in the MCU
No, You are Stronger⚡⚡⚡
Watch more films please for the love of god
not even in the top 3. best line was thor's "I SKIN INFANT BABIES" on his movie Love and Thunder
grow up kid
Because Thor learns from his mistakes.
0:37 that thunder gives me goosebumps 🔥
Me too. It's a shame he only uses his lightning/thunder powers to look cool this one time, then reverts to melee attacks entire time against Thanos. This is the most badass wr ever see Thor and its just for show. :(
@@ZC.Andrew- Exactly. But this film director envisioned otherwise for whatever reason. His lightning power was used to repel Hela, and overpower Hulk. Thor should’ve entered his avatar state for this fight. Literally become a god of thunder.
@@empyrean196it's so cool
@@empyrean196yeah Thor should of been in the Avatar State
Never forget that scene in IMAX
Captain America: “Born out of blood”
Thanos: “they’ll never know it”
That was too cold 🥶
After Tony says "yeah.. don't much care."
The way Thor replies with *Good. Just as long as we're all in agreement* .. i love it.
Yesssss!
I feel like that comment carries extra depth especially coming off Civil War. Like Thor needed to make sure his companions agreed with the plan and the potential outcome. So good!
@@smeckert8650 yeah because this is the first time they’ve fought together since age of Ultron actually
The way he says that is just epic. Then the hammer and axe.....
@@smeckert8650 Thor knew about that they had a Civil War?
Just sits there like a boss waiting for the fight.
@IceCraftroria Someone's been watching HISHE's
@IceCraftroria Thanos is worthy, he won't be stuck. He lifted both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker in Endgame.
IceCraftroria he doesn’t have to be worthy , because he is strong enough to break the enchantment.
