25% with 4x and stages is actually perfect. I ram that set for all of my time playing Heat 5 and it felt perfect. Some races I went to 50% (Daytona, Dega, Bristol, Martinsville, and Charlotte) but everything else was 25% and it felt nice, pitted once each stage and twice in final from what I remember
I do that. But every couple of races i go to 100% and ×1, really shows you how much mental endurance race car drivers have. The tyre wear is more realistic too, i use a wheel on max steering range so it's actually at the realistic lock, and i usually don't get the rear or front right tire burning up way too quickly
I've been running 25% and stages since Heat 4 and it mostly works. The one exception is Dover, where the AI pit close to the end and you can just barely make it to stage end and trap them a lap down. And you will get a penalty for pitting with 2 to go until stage end (it closes like the official rules), but the game doesn't tell you this and just makes you think you were speeding.
@@truckercowboyed2638 how would he have been lapped if he wrecked on the line to the final lap overtaking people on the cool down lap doesn’t lap and lapping people on the cool down lap doesn’t count
Race length with stages are perfect. We should have had a speedway car last season but we fumbled the bag on it imo. Let's get the 2nd speedway car and if we are making over 750k a race, we will be able to make it up quickly and we'll be able level up the aero on the car. (I rather do aero over suspension.) This was a really good race at Vegas. Best 1.5 mile right now. (Rip Chicagoland)
Hard disagree with Penske schemes. They may seem boring but they're immediately identifiable and I feel like they're schemes that will be looked back on as iconic one day.
I run career on 4x wear at 25%. Most races have one pit stop per stage. Obviously, a caution can make it so that you can make it without. Final stage is almost always needing the out stop about 60% of the way through the stage
I run the exact same settings, and it depends from Track to track. But honestly that setting is good. Usually have to put each stage and one time in the ending stage and ai is pretty aware
In my career I swapped to owner and I have 16 million fans so I get gaurunteed 1 million every race, in any series. Protip: run trucks and cup to get hella cash, trucks are super cheap to max out everything and then you win every race its stupid easy
It's going back to it's original September date this year, they only released Heat 5 in july cause they needed time to sort out the new game engine and other stuff
@@jonathanrogers1897 He doesn't because his wheel has damage and has to get it replaced, also he can't use his yetti mic and sound quality of commentary takes a dip with the headset

Does anyone else notice that the pit boxes are missing at Las Vegas.
Really fun that i have found your channel :) have learned so much from your videos.
Do stages because it will make the point standings diffrent and interesting
Yes.

Suarez won
Daniel Suarez won, photo finish
4 percent wear is for the pros 2 and 3 times wear is for the weak

I am pleased to see you recover from that L you took at daytona
Only Radman can complain about simple paint schemes while running the simplest paint scheme possible
Oof

Blue white yellow for your paint scheme. Side drafting really needs to be on the next game
If you want to do Stages you gotta go 50% Laps with 3x Wear. If you want to pit on each stage. Me personally I like no stages, and 25% Laps.
No stages, no cautions. Green running flag to flag

Leave it the way it is with stage racing and x4
