half of this album is about a certain kind of loss but they're all from such different perspectives and are sonically so different too. Good stuff.
Every song sounds different but still has that signature Northlane feel.

This song reminds me of how I felt when my mom passed away last year. And honestly sometimes, I still feel these sorts of emotions. I'm really thankful for this song, really good album Northlane (:

I'm guessing this was about his dad who passed away when he was 19 from a drug overdose. "The soul that suffered sleeps tonight in the ashes of his demons" what a brilliant line. His dad was physically and verbally abusive and a drug addict, and clearly he had problems that he never solved, maybe his childhood was fucked up too I don't know. His soul suffered, and now he's resting in sinful ashes.
Tbh imo the ambience of Solar and the uplifting side of this really lift the album and are as important as the heavier, darker aspects they contrast with
This is such an underrated album!! I keep coming back to this record time and time and time again. Every song is a banger. Every single song has a special element to it that sets it apart from the rest yet they all fit together as a concept. Why doesn't this album get the credit it DESERVES?!! I sing to all the cleans and BLEGH with all the screams. This album holds nothing back. Who else came back in 2023?

People can miss the old, but for the people saying this sucks then people should probably look themselves in the mirror. Because they probably aren't as awesome as they think. I am talking about people in other comments. The vocalist isn't the best, but he's good. The screaming is average in my opinion, but I rather the instruments come to life and be the light more than the screams in my opinion. It's not my favorite album ever, but I like it.
