This song is criminally underrated! At 3:33 I could have understood if the song transitioned into a growl / scream, and it would have added a lot of power to the end of the song. However, Marko chose to persist in the soft, mellow vocal range with minor inflections which kept magnifying to the yearning feeling that the song has been developing since the first second. Genius is an understatement!

I came to know Poets of the Fall in my high school. I was at my cousin's house and we were playing Max Payne 2, the final stage. Eventually we won. Daze has an awesome video (it ties with Carnival of Rust for my favorite), and the video for Choice Millionaire has a kind of 80's Mad Max vibe. Oh, and the video for Locking Up the Sun is also cool (it's not as much a story video or as visual as the others I mentioned, but the concept is very cool and it's very well done).

This song is criminally underrated! At 3:33 I could have understood if the song transitioned into a growl / scream, and it would have added a lot of power to the end of the song. However, Marko chose to persist in the soft, mellow vocal range with minor inflections which kept magnifying to the yearning feeling that the song has been developing since the first second. Genius is an understatement!

I came to know Poets of the Fall in my high school.
I was at my cousin's house and we were playing Max Payne 2, the final stage. Eventually we won. Then the credits showed up with an awesome song (Late Goodbye). Now, rock music is not popular so that song was a new experience for me. Both of us waited patiently throughout the entire credits sequence, listening to the song and wanting to know the band.
This was the second song that I discovered after Late Goodbye

Daze has an awesome video (it ties with Carnival of Rust for my favorite), and the video for Choice Millionaire has a kind of 80's Mad Max vibe. Oh, and the video for Locking Up the Sun is also cool (it's not as much a story video or as visual as the others I mentioned, but the concept is very cool and it's very well done).
