I'm protestant and have been having a draw back to the catholic church too. But it's kind of scary. It's a big shift and change but seeing how you guys express your faith similarly to protestants is pretty comforting and encouraging
Man, I'll be straight with you. Just hop in that boat and cross the Tiber the first chance you get. It has to be your decision, of course, but following Christ into the Church that He established will never be a bad choice. You'd probably also really dig The Catholic Talk Show here on YT. It really helped me when I returned to the faith. There are plenty of others, too. Hahn, Bergsma, Pitre, etc. The Catholic Talk Show has a real laid back atmosphere, though, much like this podcast.
❤💜💕 No one can abrogate the Mass or the faith. Catholic, by the grace of God; but learned the hard way about the infiltration of the Church by Freemasonry. Now I am much more faithful and critical. 😍 St Padre Pio commissioned Fr Luigi Villa to do the work of examination of the modernist popes. Look up Fr Luigi Villa and Chiesa Viva magazine and book "Paul VI Beatified?" by Fr Villa. FRANCIS IS HERETICAL. Francis is "notorious in fact" (demonstrates heresy outright and draws people away from declared truths), not "notorious in law" (where others declare he is an heretic).
Praise God 🙏 I was one of the biggest Catholic bashers and a big follower of Keith Green. Thanks for Steve Wood who took time to chat with me on the phone after I listened to his 4 pack of cassette tapes on his conversion. He was finishing his chapter of Surprised by Truth at the time, and I got him to speak at our Right to Life banquet. Steve Wood was one of the guys Kimberly Hahn called to stop Scott Hahn from becoming a Catholic. 🤣 They all became Catholics ☝️🙏 Viva Cristo Rey
I’ve always been Catholic and I’ve always had a thirst for knowledge of our religion, but up to a couple years back I was only taking a sip, where now I am drinking as much as I can daily. I would love love love to have the information that you guys have. God bless you guys
Deja vu in reverse:: I raised my kids in the Lutheran Church (before it became a liberal mouth-piece); & my youngest son became 'born-again' in high school during a summer trip with a youth group. He told me the leader baptized him in the river up in S.Dakota. I said; "you were baptized as a baby". He said; " it doesn't feel like I was"! I was not happy; but saw he was so went with it. He became a missionary for a non-denom church for the past decade & last year married a young lady from his church. Her mother even asked me if I know 'Jesus as my personal savior". I was insulted; us Lutherans didn't talk this way or question others I thought. He is now totally enmeshed in their church & wife's family that he has become estranged from me & his siblings. He now seems very judgmental & cult-like, imho. I am pondering converting to Catholicism because the ELCA is so lost; & I feel nothing when I do try to attend a non-denom church. Btw; I am surprised Jeff's wife converted & curious what her feelings are.
I think I might be one of the people you referred to toward the end of the video. I'm recently returned to the Church after being away for fifteen or so years. I'm deep into discerning currently. Thank you all for the fantastic video.
Divine Providence brought me to your program, and I've subscribed :) I ama cradle Catholic and I let my friends know if I wasn't raised Catholic, I would have converted. I have the same enthusiasm and love of/for Christ that I did as a teenager. It's the most profound relationship and the longest relationship of my life. Thank you very much. I feel it's very important for young men and boys to see Catholic men on fire with the Holy Spirit for Christ and for our beautiful faith.
Praise God! Please pray for our mission of restoring adventure and joy into the hearts of young people this summer at Catholic Youth Summer Camp. Your prayers are powerful and effective.
Hi there! The testimony was marvelous! At the end I got baptized by the Holy Spirit! I gave my full yes for the great mission which Jesus has for me to do. Glory to the Lord! God blesses you all guys! a big hug from Brazil!👃🔥💪🔥
I’ve been indulging in Catholicism for the last couple months. My priest in my hometown has a very down to earth and welcoming vibe, which I like. I attended one church in Atlanta where the priest did that odd voice mentioned in this video and it felt super off lol.
When we go to the Church, particularly assisting at the holy sacrifice of the Mass, it is not that nobody is talking about Jesus, rather is is us who is not listening. Our Lord lets us experience Him at Mass using our five senses, not just hearing. Often times we missed realizing this.
That’s exactly what I tell my husband I love about Jeff Cavins! That he teaches Catholicism but you can hear the years of Protestant pastor through his teaching 😂 and I just LOVE that!
Guys, great podcast and great to hear Jeff’s story, but please sound balance the laughing. Particularly the guy with the booming laugh. I had to turn the volume down every time.
I thought I was the only one. I wanted to continue listening but is hard with all the laughter, now I have to search for him only talking without any other people interrupting all the time.
Started listening to Jeff Cavins about 6 month ago and it has been a great blessing as there is no doubt he has been blessed by the Homy Spirit and his teachings are phenomenal

if one seeks truth, way and the life, of which is Jesus, our fears are banished...seek him deep within...lead us all in the Holy Eucharist🙏

Welcome back to the Catholic Church, Jeff (and others)! I, too, am a boomerang Catholic--but did not "detour" through Protestantism. God is good!

I detoured o😂. But coming back
I am a protestant evangelical Christian, this episode sounds so like the evangelical church but with the truth that the Catholic church brings.
Glad you’ve seen the evangelist side of the church. It calls us to remember that’s how all this started! God bless.
Evangelicals make the Best Catholic's
Praise God 🙏

You could say he was poorly catechized as a child
Wonderful conversation. Glory be to God. Welcome back home. Mr Jeff #Proud to be Catholic#

Omg I'm sorry but someone has to tell you. You guys interrupting at every sentence is making this impossible to listen to.
You are so right and I am only 10 minutes into it
@@carlospacheco7361 Yeah it's hard but Cavins is worth it. It gets slightly better second half.

Hi! How's your journey? Have you come into the church?

What a powerful testimony!! Thanks for the video

Jeff is a cool guy
Thanks Jeff Cavins. God bless, and a belated welcome back to Holy Mother Church.
Guys, great podcast and great to hear Jeff’s story, but please sound balance the laughing. Particularly the guy with the booming laugh. I had to turn the volume down every time.
An ex-Protestant revert to Catholicism who interviewed *LED ZEPPELIN?!?!* Sign me up!

The one by one rosary reveal was hilarious!

If Jesus Christ is not Catholic why are you or better yet if god is not Catholic why are you
What do you mean?
Jesus founded a church. The church he founded eventually became known as the Catholic church, because everyone was allowed to join.
