this guy is misleading you. He pretends to be a convert to Catholicism, but he actually just reverted to that church-cult after a hiatus into reformed Christianity.
How is he misleading anyone in anyway?? It is well known Jeff Cavins grew up in a Catholic family, turned to Evangelical, and came back home after facing the Truth.
If Catholicism is the cult-church, could you please give me the name of the true church? I want to make sure that I am following Christ. The reason I am Catholic is because the facts that I have found have made me believe Catholicism is the true church. It historically can trace itself back to Christ. Christianity has been having to be reformed ever since it began. You can see this in the new testament. The Catholic church has not changed it's teaching to conform to the culture. Have you ever heard of Justyn Martyr, he wrote in the 2nd century about the church. When he says how they worshiped, that is the way we still worship in the church to this very day. Justyn was taught by a man named Polycarp who was taught by the actual apostle John. There is no gap in history it is just waiting to be discovered by those who have never taken a look.
Because of the so called reformation everyone has stopped looking at actual Christian history. Most people refuse to look past the last 500 years. I just wish they would look at that then they would see they do not even hold to what their for fathers believed. Many will not even look their. They really don't know what the church they attend teaches on serious issues.
We are all part of a family. If our family is having issues, no matter how bad, we must heal and reform from within. You can't leave your family behind and say, "I reformed my family." Then when your knew family has issues you leave it to reform again. There are over 20,000 different denominations since Martin Luther left the Catholic Church in 1517. You know it was less than 15 year before you had the next split. Even those that were leaving the Church could not agree so they all went their separate ways. I pray you find the truth. But Christ said seek. I dare you to let the Church speak for herself. If you have never heard of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, I invite you to read it. Or just take a peak. @@neldaallen3583 Satan is the father of lies and a murderer. Martin Luther underwent a transformation evident in his own writings. He was very clearly demonically oppressed. I pray for poor Protestants that truly belong to “cults”.
