    - Beware with having too many Desires...
    * Desires make us unhappy. But, as human beings, we need them.
    • * Solution:
*** Let go most of your desires. Pick the one or few that are truly worth to pursuit.
    • Less desires - More relaxed / peaceful -- More Happy
    - Byproduct of working on your happiness -- Clear Mind -- Better Judgement -- High Performance / Effectiveness (e.g. in Business)
    • Critical in the "Age of Leverage"...
Slightly better judgement * infinite leverage source = Significant better Outcome
** 4 kinds of Leverage -- Media, Capital, Labor, Code (programming).

    - We waste too much energy thru Anxiety
    - Being Calm in tough times is a Superpower
    - The key to Reduce Anxiety --- Self-examination

My takeaway is that the first step before going on to achieve something, is to work on ourselves. To examine our lives (the underlying motives of our desires, fears, anxieties...), to become more focused and gain the ability to channel our attention where we want it to be. Great message

I've realised that anxiety comes from fear of loss in the way of status within hierachy's, fear of deteriorating health, fear of missing out, fear of fruitless hard work, fear of humiliation.
Each of these analysed and addressed lessens anxiety.

I am lost at 1st point itself, The civil war inside my head! I feel most of my desires arise out of all the constant complaints I used to do. I wrote down notes and did some self-observation. Thanks the Picking Nuggets admin.

I had been in my head for way too long. I can happily say that I've managed to clear my head and be present. The only problem now is that there is a significant mismatch between me and the world. The world has moved forward. I don't know where to start. All my friends are up there. What do I do?
