Holy shit. I've. FINALLY FOUND IT. I've been searching for this since I was a kid. I heard this song and loved it. But never ever knew the name. Or exactly how it went.
This was on repeat for so long years ago, & popped in my head today🌀This melody was the soundtrack to many of my teenage years...coming back to revisit & boy, those opening notes still hit just like they did, it's pure Magic✨nothing quite like it🌊i will forever cherish this song🦋 grateful to this band🐾I'm in good company here in the comments, hello family🎶🌞😺🧚♀️
I'm walking on the southern street, cut to the river 'fore I run too low. I'm walking on the southern street, cut to the river 'fore I run too low. Ugh, this song is just so great. I remember being a little kid and hearing this play when my mom would put our fancy high tech stereo on for friends coming over and I would just sit in the family room and sing this softly under my breath, sometimes dance.
Hey that's Brian Aubert, the lead singer and guitarist in silversun pickups playing guitar on the left!! I wish he would sing in this. I love his voice also
Everybody chill... Just because good music filters down through the mainstream to people who probably wouldn't know it even existed otherwise doesn't make the music any less amazing. It just means more people now know it's awesome. Who cares who heard it when?? Support the music and the artist!! Spread the love people!!
Love the musical subtly, simplicity and intelligence of this song. The interplay between the electric and acoustic guitar and cello are superb. Something greatly welcomed. Winter Windows has some welcomed imagination as well.
I will never get tired listening to this song this song has something to do with me i can feel it everytime i listen to it its making me remember the days that i was a kid and everything was good
I've only ever listened to this song 5 times, and every time I have, I end up experiencing some abrupt and drastic change in life shortly after. Wonder where this time will take me
its good to see that, after all this time, new people are still discovering this amazing band. they are currently on tour throughout america if anyone is interested.
friday night, i didn't went out since 3 weeks, alone with world of warcraft, a mountain of pizzas box, a river of mountain dew... my pride? gone. my virginity? you're in the right to ask yourself...
I hoped someone would point it out that it’s in sombieland. I saw the movie illegally at the time on the web in a basement full of my brothers friends. They were working on photo shop. At least one guy did. First time I heard the song. Didn’t click for me though until I heard it on my own. People don’t stop being loud sometimes
I am so glad I got to hear this long before I ever saw it on a TV commercial or in a TV show or movie. I'd rather the images it conjures be from my own imagination, based on the lyrics. Incredible song!
This song will always remind me of my community college radio days working the Sunday morning midnight to 3 am shift; this song was always in rotation and right about when I slept through half my breaks! GOOD MEMORIES.
You know that you are listening to one of the best bands in the WORLD when more then 1,000 people like it and 12 haters disliked it... Defiantly one of THE BEST bands of all time
This song is awesome. I can't help but think I've heard it somewhere before... but actually I just found it here by chance. Can't stop listening to it.
I dont think hipsters refer to them selves as such. Its just a label folks that wear consignment and flea market threads and dont listen to main stream music were given. The music and scene that go along with it are just extentions of hippy, folk, and punk culture and im happy to see such an anti capitolist, underground movment thriving.
How 'bout everyone just listen to the wonderful cello background at 2:48 and calm your nerves. Sea wolf makes it easy to relax...just relax... Don't worry about hipsters. Like the rest of us, they are all different, unique individuals. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you are both right. Now sit down.
I heard this song first in an indie rock playlist and I clapped my hands twice when I heard it on Being Human. Shows with obscure indie music get +10 points from me.
Holy shit. I've. FINALLY FOUND IT. I've been searching for this since I was a kid. I heard this song and loved it. But never ever knew the name. Or exactly how it went.

Great song. Saw them play in a small venue back in the day - I was literally about 10 feet away from the stage. Great concert
Beautiful, ethereal song.

It isn't cut to the river / ocean, it's get to the river/ ocean. As per Sea Wolf's website.
Gotta love that low budget early 2000's indie music video aesthetic. Great song.
So nostalgic. Reminds me of high school.
A refreshing difference from what is the norm. Great to hear real music played on real instruments by real musicians...hard to find these days.

I discovered this band by accident via iTunes and I love their music!
I still remember the feeling I had watching this for the first time... 3am, sleeping over at my best friend's house and this came on TV. Chills.

Preeettttty sure that is also Joe Lester on Bass... not that I know for a fact it is... or for a fact that he can play bass, but, pretttty sure.
@@ghoekstra17 it’s him for sure. Bass was his original instrument in his old band, Pine Marten
