It almost reminds me of my non-existent trip to a New York museum, or a morning drive in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the vast sea and the towering trees. This will always be one of my favorites indie albums of all time. It really means something special. Along with a bunch of other albums, it marked a line in which after so I started to appreciate music in a different, deeper, emotional way. This albums means my youth, my transition from being a teenager to becoming a young adult. It hits hard and it reminisces different episodes of my life. What a gem.
I can relate to that so well, I've just begun my transition over from teenager to young adult and this music along with Current Joys, VACATIONS, and Surf Curse are carrying the nostalgia of my teenage years. Skating huge hills with my friends in the middle of the night with music like this playing loudly in my ears. I only wish it could have stayed that simple... So now I just sit here and listen to this to help remember all of the good times.
It’s just perfect. I listen to it while doing homework, driving, working out, and even on one of those days when you jus feel like laying down on the bed and doing nothing.
beautiful. im sitting in front of my computer alone in middle of the night, i just finished for today. everything in silence except for this music. peace . i feel like when i was on my teen days and i was just eager for living, and i lived. right now just need one beer and this music to bring me back to the days when my hobby was looking for new bands and music and lost myself in that and didnt have the complications from adulthood
I literally play this album for everything I do, cleaning, studying I play it at work for my kids since there are no curse words the kids love it it’s so cute to see them bobbing their little heads to it 😂🥰 it’s just easy listening music 🙏🏽
I've been listening to this EP a whole lot recently. It just speaks to a lovely feeling, a good day, a small smile, a simple act of kindness. I really love this EP. Thanks, Far Caspian.
Yet another nostalgic piece of timeless art. Really brings back that teenage hope and optimism I lost a few years back. In short, a healing masterpiece.
Lets go Outside is an absolute masterpiece. The mixing of the vocals in the first half kept them clean and pairs them well with the frontal instrumental which may be louder than the vocals themselves but doesnt change the melodic patterns throughout. Then the beautiful second half where the vocals are muddled by a loud chorus behind ranging throughout the high and low end of the spectrum, getting a heavenly and airy sound to come off of them this time instead through its use of reverb and space. Masterclass in mixing. The use of a DnB style beat on this works surprisingly well too. And DONT YOU DARE get me started on Finding my Way Home
Still remember years ago when this album had less than 10k views. The album was released in 2016 or 2017, can't remember for sure, but it's quite a long time ago. 'Blue' got the highest view at like 4-5 millions at the time, but the whole album stayed at like around 10k for years. Then out of sudden in 2021, it jumps to millions, then 10 millions, and now 20 millions. No wonder why Joel is in shock. I'm really glad that more and more people appreciate this genre of music. 'Astoria' and 'The Heights' are also my favorite songs.
This album has been keeping me going. I travel 5 days a week, 2 cities a week for work. Always away from my wife and kids trying to make it happen for them. When i wake up in a strange timezone and with no friends in sight, i put this album on and it brings me up. Thank you. So much.
Throughout life, grief happens in various forms…. … upon hearing the first note of the first of these song’s, sung by beautiful free spirited voices, I knew this is where I needed to be to free my spirit of despair, and replace it with a little thing called “hope”.🕊
Helloooo from South Africa ❤️🌍 this song has a mellow, positive feel to it. It's whimsical and like a gentle breeze. I pull this up when ever I'm on a road trip or just chilling at a bonfire under the open sky at the ocean. Zanks you Far Caspian ❤️
I’ve listened to this album almost everyday for the last three months… it’s gotten me through some heavy shit. It’s like my own personal soundtrack for figuring out life
I just feel like this is the lifestyle perfect album I have heard since high schooL. Like, I cannot think of another album - at least in the last decade - where each song felt not only good, but great. Like, I remember growing up listening to albums, emotive albums at night, and not always they would be perfect, but always hoping they would be, and sometimes getting rewarded. This album feels like that reward, executive instead of their being months between the instances of perfection - there have been years. I simply cannot keep playing this whole album repeatedly. And I love a lot of different music - basically everything except heavy metal and trap and some of the really hard rap (and not necessarily including the pop/Top 100 rap, which some of which I like), but I just can’t get over how this is the first album I’ve fallen in love with in this personal way since probably mid-way theory high school, I think. Or maybe in college. But definitely not after that. So great job Far Caspian! Great cover art too btw!
Angela Anderson 90’s: Oasis ‘What’s The Story Morning Glory,’ Alanis Morrisette’s “Jagged Little Pill” 00’s: The Strokes’ “Is This It,” MGM’s “Oracular Spectacular” 10’s: Drake’s “Scorpion,” The We Are Your Friends(2015) Film Soundtrack,
@Seth Williams Hey there, your love for this band is something great, music is as valuable as the deepest emotion it provokes. I'd just keep in mind that while music is subjective, there are objective ways to measure quality, and while thats something which Caspian has a lot of, they don't excel in ilustrating the whole arrange of emotions that a deep understanding of theory gives you access to.
When I heard this EP, I was fascinated by the way the songs made me feel. They made me excited to live and I was filled with happiness. So, thank you...
I keep coming back to this EP every few weeks. Every time I listen to it, it makes me feel like I'm reliving a Summer day of my childhood. Thanks for the excellent music Far Caspian.
I live in Colorado and we listen to this EP everytime we go into the mountains. Makes me think of early mornings, good coffee, breathe taking views, loved ones. Just wanted to say Thank You
Some of the best music I've found and listened to was 95% come across by accident or music like... All hidden gems. I've often wondered if it sounds the same to you the musicians as it does to us the listening fan base. Probably not. That's what makes it ones own version of a song. Thanks to all the musicians who give life to another world through music.
Do it if it's what you will love to do Money only gets you so far but if you love fixing bodies then have it. Don't be anxious of them just be aware of what's happening each moment.
Estaba imaginando que alguien venía y me daba un abrazo. Esto es lo más cercano a un abrazo por estos días. Calientito, agradable, dulce y sobre todo lleno de energía.
I've been fighting major health issues for almost a year and I can honestly say that this album has saved me more times than I care to admit. "You gotta let it hurt" Thank you so much for creating this beautiful music. Nothing has ever spoken to me this deeply. I listen to prog and jazz lol! ❤❤👏👏👏
This album is sublime, orgasmic, and transcendent! I’m going through a lot right now and this music is really helping me through it right now. Thank you Far Caspian for your efforts and soul!
So ever since i can remember I'd get real attached to the songs I liked. It still fascinates me when I hear a song i like or a melody beat whatever, It's like when you find out the girl you like has a crush on you too or something. Just to know something like that exists is so reassuring coz unlike girls I can listen to as many musics as I want!!!!
This is so nostalgic and at the same time futuristic... I feel complete and at the same time I can see where everyhing connect to everyone, future and past, now and then. Thanks youtube to get me something so refreshing
I finally realised there's a part in Let's go outside that sounds like Under Pressure! It's a very pretty album. Finding my way home really touches me.
it's really interesting how every song manages to evoke the same feeling of adventure, of detatchement and going back to your roots and living again.. amazing album! so underrated
in moments like this where you can feel the panic and desesperation around the streets, I like to zone out even for a bit and listen to this type of music.

Finding my way home! The entire song is a warm night under a big moon and starry sky. 17:45 is the quietest part right before, then 18:10 is the sunrise.❤️🧡💛
started listening to them randomly and their music has awaken a side of me from when i was younger and more hopeful that i thought had been lost. idk why i am writing this, guess i just wanted to voice out that it always gets better and to never forget who you are.
@Ramiro Garcia i dont know about you, but spotify's algorithms are pretty dang good. Not their recommendations, but their radio playlists (based off a certain song) unearths great music :)
With gnarwolves esp. CRU and Funemployed are great albums. Bloody Knees are really good, Eagulls are really good, Nai Harvest aren't around anymore but their back catalogue is incredible.
The last song that's hit me as hard as "Let's go outside" is probably "Blood Bank". It's been almost a decade since I was blown away by a song I've heard for the first time. Usually takes me quite a few listens to fully appreciate a song. Sad this EP been out as long as it has and I just heard this last week from happenstance on a youtube music queue.

For some reason I have this ep on my 'watch later' list since last year. Today, I woke up and listened to it and omg I feel like a whole new universe was born inside me. This is amazing ♥️
Just imagine this. It’s sunny outside with a little refreshing wind. You’re running fast as you can in the fields while this album is playing. You’re wearing all white and you can’t stop smiling because you just feel free and finally happy. Imma a write a story oh my god
I rambled to this playlist on my tumblr which I use as an online journal because sometimes I feel like typing the words instead of spilling ink in my personal journal. I have been feeling the rush of emotions; therefore the thoughts due to a problem I'm having with a person. as I came to the end of my writing and published it, the playlist also came to an end. It seemed interesting to see the timeline of what I wrote. anyways thank you for the good music!
This is the kind of msic I loved listening to back in the day. The music that makes yo0u feel good, no worries, the world for the taking, fun, on a good high, in love with yourself and things around you. Summer, sunshine, spring autumn warmth smiles.

4 - Let's Go Outside 10:52
I can feel it in a moment
Just let the words trickle out
Force my head into the morning
I don't know what I have but doubt
Seems to find its way
Force my eyes into the pictures
Lets go out and find a way to live
I can see our youth depicted
On the screens of the innocent
And I know
where you go
Its just harder to rely
I found it out, its over
Lets go and drive
Pick up and drive
I can feel it in a second
Just let the words trickle down
What i had was nothing less than
I don't know why I feel so down
And I know, its hard
What's all this falling out
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
I wont forget about it
Words you never say
I wont forget about it
Words you never say
Oh you try to take the best from this
Your bones begin to shake and miss
At the sight of something natural
By your window side
With a garden full of your favourite lights
It seems so tough not knowing
Where you're going but she know
The words she always spoke
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
See what this life's about
See what this life's about
"Oh you try to take the best from this"
Think this is my favourite part from the whole EP ❤️

BLUE
Last night the rain blew down
I called you up with no answer
It's all a waste of time
I've wanted this since forever
But I don't know
It's not the way I thought
I tried for you to see
But you'll never know
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
I think of ways to fly
We smoked away in the basement
I kissed your lips slow and dry
We danced until we were wasted
Oh It's a dream I'm in
And all I need
Is many ways to fly away
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
oh
oh
you
Thank you💙

BETWEEN DAYS
It's hard to know
Which way to go
Come and find me, come and find me
She's dressed for snow
In your winter coat
Through the slight breeze, through the slight breeze
The city sleeps
With autum leaves
On the side streets, uninviting
I spend my days
In a summer haze
By the pine trees, all the times we
Knew not what's right
So intertwined
I remember
She's dressed for
Sun as we came undone
Waiting for the cold
To leave for a while
So I'll take it as it comes
It's hard to say between these days
Retrace my steps back through the west
I remember
I remember
I remember

Stay in my head
Stay on your bed

Bargained with the price

I'm happy that youtube recommended me this, beautiful!
@@gardensoundrecords3598 it's youtube magic
@@gardensoundrecords3598 Idk, maybe because I watched and liked a Bane's World song about 2 years ago? Haha, yeah that, and watching and liking lots of other indie artists since then.... funny thing is.... I usually wait a while to finally listen to the recommendations on youtube.🤔😏 A lot of the songs are nice to workout to.😃😎✌🏼
This album brings me to my old childish memories that i have completely forgotten. I close my eyes and I see these images pop up instantly.
I played this in the morning when the sun was streaming through the windows and I had a cup of coffee in my hand. How was it, you ask (?) Glorious. Absolute bliss.
1. 00:00
BETWEEN DAYS
It's hard to know
Which way to go
Come and find me, come and find me
She's dressed for snow
In your winter coat
Through the slight breeze, through the slight breeze
The city sleeps
With autum leaves
On the side streets, uninviting
I spend my days
In a summer haze
By the pine trees, all the times we
Knew not what's right
So intertwined
I remember
She's dressed for
Sun as we came undone
Waiting for the cold
To leave for a while
So I'll take it as it comes
It's hard to say between these days
Retrace my steps back through the west
I remember
I remember
I remember
I remember
2. 03:09
BLUE
Last night the rain blew down
I called you up with no answer
It's all a waste of time
I've wanted this since forever
But I don't know
It's not the way I thought
I tried for you to see
But you'll never know
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
I think of ways to fly
We smoked away in the basement
I kissed your lips slow and dry
We danced until we were wasted
Oh It's a dream I'm in
And all I need
Is many ways to fly away
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
Oh It will never work
Don't you see
You gotta let it hurt
oh
oh
you
3 - The Place 06:34
Talking
I know nothing
Stay in my head
Stay on your bed
I fought
It out
Bargained with the price
All of your advice
On hold, on hold
I know what to say
I'll go, I'll go
To my unknown place
I love it when she rolls me up
But I know I never weigh enough
I fought
It out
Bargained with the price
All of my advice is gone
I know, I know
I know what to say
But I'll go, I'll go
To my unknown place
I love it when she calls me up
But I know I never say enough
I love it when she rolls me up
But I know I never weigh enough
I love it when she calls me up
But I know I never say enough
I love it when she rolls me up
But I know I never weigh enough
4 - Let's Go Outside 10:52
I can feel it in a moment
Just let the words trickle out
Force my head into the morning
I don't know what I have but doubt
Seems to find its way
Force my eyes into the pictures
Lets go out and find a way to live
I can see our youth depicted
On the screens of the innocent
And I know
where you go
Its just harder to rely
I found it out, its over
Lets go and drive
Pick up and drive
I can feel it in a second
Just let the words trickle down
What i had was nothing less than
I don't know why I feel so down
And I know, its hard
What's all this falling out
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
I wont forget about it
Words you never say
I wont forget about it
Words you never say
Oh you try to take the best from this
Your bones begin to shake and miss
At the sight of something natural
By your window side
With a garden full of your favourite lights
It seems so tough not knowing
Where you're going but she know
The words she always spoke
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
Let's go and drive
Work this all out
Feel it this time
See what its all about
Let's go outside
Work this all out
See what we find
See what this life's about
See what this life's about
See what this life's about
5- Finding My Way Home 15:20
Break from this
Three days since I've gone
Fallen out of place
Lay down by the lake house I grew on
Time takes on her age
Step back, rebuild
All the damage has been done
I could find my strength
Let them refill all their thoughts of heavy lungs
And though it seems I've lost my time
Drifting through the pines
Finding my way home
Take from this
Three years since I've flown
Calling out my fate
Lay down by the lake house I grew up
Running out the same
Take up a hobby, anything to keep yourself warm
I could find my strength
Step back, rebuild all the damage has been done
So it seems I've lost my time
Drifting through the old headed pines
Looking for a place to go
Finding my way home
Dude!!!!! how did you type so muchhhhh?

So now I just sit here and listen to this to help remember all of the good times.
i come back to this album all the time ... what a gem.
Living in a country currently in full lockdown, "Let's go outside" is being my anthem.
look up this band The Impures new single TIME
It’s just perfect. I listen to it while doing homework, driving, working out, and even on one of those days when you jus feel like laying down on the bed and doing nothing.
Yes sir
only just found this ..wow
beautiful. im sitting in front of my computer alone in middle of the night, i just finished for today. everything in silence except for this music. peace . i feel like when i was on my teen days and i was just eager for living, and i lived. right now just need one beer and this music to bring me back to the days when my hobby was looking for new bands and music and lost myself in that and didnt have the complications from adulthood
hoping everything is better for you
I literally play this album for everything I do, cleaning, studying I play it at work for my kids since there are no curse words the kids love it it’s so cute to see them bobbing their little heads to it 😂🥰 it’s just easy listening music 🙏🏽
I've been listening to this EP a whole lot recently. It just speaks to a lovely feeling, a good day, a small smile, a simple act of kindness. I really love this EP. Thanks, Far Caspian.
this was all i listened to back during summer lockdown. this album will always give me summer vibes

Yet another nostalgic piece of timeless art. Really brings back that teenage hope and optimism I lost a few years back. In short, a healing masterpiece.
thats the main point, man, We need to brings back this things like we forever teenage. to keep going no matter what we've been through. Piece
@@aislancarlos2711 Exactly. Peace, man 👍
Still. Years later. i love it.
Sir, thank you for the poetic and maestro way of describing the song, I love professionals

I have finally found my first ever album where I don’t need a skip button. This album was on repeat while driving along the California/Oregon coast!
Just wanted to say Thank You
Glad to see this album travel around the world 🌱
sounds awesome. I think sasquatch himself would come out from the woods and hangout over this.
OMG I needed to hear this right now. I’m cleaning my house after a very dark 15 days. So much love in my heart for this right now.

words can't really explain how this album makes me feel. it's pure gold
I have my med school finals this week and only this album is keeping me sane when i feel like quitting
