RIDGEMONKEY XL Review Full English Breakfast cooked using the Firebox G2 in an Abandoned Lodge

- Cooked a "Full English Breakfast" with Toast using the RIDGEMONKEY Compact XL.
Used the Fireboxstove G2 Stainless steel with the Trangia Gas adaptor as I didn't want to set the Wooden Lodge on fire.
Started the Day off with a fresh coffee overlooking the Loch after a 3 mile walk to get there.

That video was from a while back, the ridge monkey was used in the kitchen today to make some great grilled cheese!

Yummy get the brown sauce out. I would leave off the tomatoes and have a sausage in there. A beautiful place to be outdoors to cook and eat 😊

I have the exact same monster coffee pot!
I have 2 of these that I use at home for family coffee but wanted to have a go at taking it with me. I’m thinking of a video with the 3 different ways I make good coffee with.

Yeah, we have Staffordshire oatcakes with it, either roll them up with bits of the breakfast inside(bit like a Stoke Fajita) or rip them up and use them as a chapati! Nige and I take turns in getting them up here from Stoke.

If you want your stuff to spill out when you tip it upside down then yes! This ridgemonkey allows you to cook on both sides! Great for toasties
That cooking lesson worked out quite well until you added the cheese and charcoal toast. I love Ridge-money products the new square stainless steel stove is very high quality indeed and will last forever and the square kettle and pan are amazingly extremely well made uniquely designed products that will last longer than the English weather....🐵🐵🐵👍👍👍
From stoke we have cheese on our fry up and the toast worked out ok to be honest!
