I love the 777, such an awesome aircraft. Spent a few years flying back and forth from Atlanta to Dubai and loved every minute of it. Hope to someday fly on this gorgeous airplane!
The triple 7 is a dream come true! I flew on it during a return trip from Italy and it was super spacious and comfortable even in economy. I 100% booking a flight for it!

GE sold it's household appliance division to China. Their stock has tanked and is almost a junk stock now, less than $15 or so. The same failed leadership at GE is now going to do the same to Boeing.
Since when the MCAS is a real problem? A whole company is been crucified over a political/financial agenda. The MCAS is just a small issue like any other new iteration of any other aircraft had in the past. Not a real issue at all.. But hey the customer is always right .. right? ;-)

I've followed this case closely because I worked briefly for a company that provided parts for Boeing planes here in the States. I can't say much due to it confidentiality reasons but the deceased pilots are not to blame. Boeing concealed information from them.

If you buy a new product without a manual wouldn't you assume it works the same way as similar ones you used in the past? The fact that no US pilots did not crash was just the luck of the draw. If they kept flying the max 8 it was bound to happen sooner or later unless Boeing conveniently trained US pilots in flight simulators while telling other foreign buyers no new training was required. Sam, I have to tell you . . . My son (a 15 year old plane spotter who follows you) got to see the 777x take off that Saturday. He was actually happy for the delay as he had finals that Friday and would missed the flight. He saw the media bus returning to The Future of Flight building and ran over, hoping to meet you (of course, you had already left Seattle). However!! Instead he got to meet Glenn Farley, our local news aviation expert who ended up interviewing my son for the news!!! So, although he missed getting to meet you, he still had an amazing experience getting to be on our local news and seeing this amazing plane take off! We later watched it land at Boeing Field. What a cool day! I'm so sorry you had to miss it.

In the first flight the goal is to check out basic functionality and how well the low-speed performance was predicted. The pilots are busy testing handling in take-off configuration, and for that the gear must be down.
The 777-8 is the perfect replacement for the legacy carriers’ 777-200LR’s. I would not be surprised if Delta, United, and American all placed an order for this jet.
Nice to see some good news out of Boeing for a change. Been nothing but bad for a while now, can't say the 797 setback was great to hear. They've got to nail the 777x

That plane will most likely only be flown on long routes. Just make sure you always have enough connection time. 1.5 hours should be minimum

I had an Uncle that worked with the 777 years ago and they were so Proud of that plane as well as All the forces that went into it.
