ROFL! It's hilarious that you mention 305's and Joe Dirt in the same sentence. This is my 23 Challenger with 275/40/20 front and 305/35/20 rears. Note my license plates. th-cam.com/users/shortsIr4qXNz3b38?si=g1u_C-P6eKvLO9g7
Hey, I know this is two years later, but if you're looking for a cheaper High performance tire, I have been buying Delinte D7 Thunder tires for my 2009 Maxima. They wear great and offer great wet and dry traction. I just purchased a 2021 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack 392 Widebody T/A edition with only 3,000 miles on it. 3,200 now since I got it. It wears the Pirelli P Zero 305/35R20 All-Season tires on all four corners.
I used to stagger wheels on my cars but it creates understeer. Only helps for launches when racing. I no longer do it, your tires are going to throw rocks up in to your paint and the car behind you.
I have the exact same set up took my Is interreal well out Hammered the little bump in at 4 o'clock On driver's side 8 o'clock on passenger side A little bit of the heat gun no spacer whatsoever Little bit of the heat gun no spacer whatsoever Damn near Average Clarence And the tire is tucked in a little bit more without spacer
I ended up getting a set of 850s. For the money, I think Atturo is a helluva bargain? Be safe out there. I'm an older guy, took all of the electronic nannies off, and did a rolling burnout from off of linelock. About shit myself and took out a pole going into 3rd! Dayum!???
They look good! But I wouldn’t take a chance on tearing something up ! I have a 2017 T/A 392. I spent way too much money on my car to tear shit up. And I got NO traction when I hammer on it ! I’m thinking slicks @ 275 x 20 might get hook up ?
Never a good idea to use spacers or to have an obvious increase in diameter from front tires. 305/35's would be the better choice for easy and safe fitment, with proper wheel/rim offset, while retaining identical, "4 corner" diameter (275/40 - 305/35) with little worry about clearances. The 315's only gain a rather unnoticeable, (about1/8th inch) increase in contact patch width above the 305's. IMO, not worth the effort, money, potential rub or any safety concerns. But yes, the staggered look is a preference I've always tried to maintain. Best appearance and function for me seemed to be 235/50/20 front and 295/40/20 rear on a 2016 Scat-Pack - stock 9.5" wheels. Grand plan for the Hellcat will be 245/45/20 front on 9.5" (down from stock 275's) with 305/35/20's on 10" (or 10.5") replica's for rear replacement. Regardless, I wish best of luck with those 315's ... definitely looks mean with the +/-2.3" extra width (and I never mind seeing a little extra tire sticking out - kinda shows off the effort!) ......
@@willboyd8021 Yeah I needed 3mm of space so I added the 3mm spacer. The back part of the fender liner I cut just to make sure I wouldn’t have future issues. I hope that makes sense lol.
That does look ridiculous... but to each their own... Reminds me of what they used to do to mustangs in the early 90s.. it didn't look good then either..lol
I also ran 315 atturo az850. Still spin them bad, at the track it hook great! I have michellin pilot sport all season in 305, they are small but hook better. Goung back to 315 after this set. Looks thick kn rear tho
I'm currently working on fitting some ( 20 x 11 @ 27 ) rims on my 2006 Magnum R/T. While doing research I came across your video. It's one of the best I've seen, because of the camera angle and garage door as a visual reference. 11:14 - you literally see the wheel flex into positive camber when you lower it. LOL. Similar setup, lowered, without having to use a spacer. th-cam.com/video/GPWJyTiaoco/w-d-xo.html
Those tires look good even without the Widebody fender flares. 305's might have been wide enough and could've saved you from any trimming and using a spacer.
The 800 is a cool looking tire and I don't know when they were introduced compared to when this video was made but the 850 tire is way superior to the 800 in performance.
Thanks for pointing it out. I torqued all four wheels when I put the passenger side. I messed up the video clip and it was too lengthy so I decided not to include it.
I’m like joe dirt lookin at 305s with no car daaaannnnggg😂😂

Since the tires are wider and sticking out a little, have you had any problems where the tires would hit the fender while the suspension is working?
No I didn’t have any issues. It was close though. My scat pack was the same way but had just a little more room because I had 305s on it.
Ok got it thanks @@str8speed919
I have these on my hellcat they rub a little when I turn left or right. No damage at all you just hear it.
What size wheels pair with those 315s? Are they 20 x 10s
Do you need a spacer with 275's or just with any thing bigger than 275?
If you have the SRT type wheels the offset should be good. Anything else and I’m not sure because of the offset.

275 all around wide on my 2010 dodge challenger R/T classic stock heritage rims ...good video
Appreciate the video. Do you mind sharing what tailpipes you’re using? I really want quad tips on my hellcat. I’ve heard trackhawk tips fit perfectly.
I used to stagger wheels on my cars but it creates understeer. Only helps for launches when racing. I no longer do it, your tires are going to throw rocks up in to your paint and the car behind you.
love the poke.
With those spacers they don't leave much hub centric ability for the wheels do they, especially since the wheel bores are tapered.
There was still a decent amount of the lip left.
@@str8speed919 What was the width of the rims and what was the backspacing on the rims before you added the spacer, 22 or 25?
Why not 6mm( 2*3mm)?? I'm confused on your hesitation🤔🤔🤔
I just did enough for clearance and didn’t want the tire sticking too far out.

Sick...man some old school cragar 10inch rims would look awesome
Did you hafta use spacers because of incorrect offset? I'm about to go through this myself. I'm hearing +22 offset?
Yes I used hub centric 3mm spacers from ZL1Addons for a little extra clearance.
You got mudflaps on there? Do they protect from stone chips?

Thanks for the input. I’ll be putting lil devil flares on my hellcat eventually. I had them on my scat which had 305s on a 10.5
So 315 on the back of scat pack Challenger, is a bad idea even if you have 10.5 rims with spaces that connects your rims

315 is good with wide body kit prefer 305 on narrow body. That 315 is going to throw lot of pebbles on your body.

I’m not sure how they do in the snow but they have been excellent in the rain.
That’s a lot of work for an extra 10mm width. Not worth it.
Originally had 275s so that’s 80mm total added to the rear.
