I have subbed to that lady that cooks on her ranch for several years! She is amazing, for sure! Thanks for showing how to cook and prepare the nopales. I have started seeing them at more stores!
I watch Dona Angela too! She's a great cook. I just watch since I can't understand a lot of Spanish but her videos are easy to follow. I can't wait to try this salsa! Thank you for your videos. You ALWAYS make me smile or laugh.
Yes he does❤🎉
I do the same thing. She reminds me of a sweet abuela. I bet her cooking is awesome ❤
on Dona's videos you can turn on closed captions (she has them on most videos) then go to settings and hit auto-translate - the auto-translate usually is way off sync or terrible in general, but from Spanish to English it works very well
YOU'RE THE BEST!!!! Love watching you and trying your recipes. Such a breath of fresh air. You always bring a smile to my face!
Bro is a real gentleman, he set aside the salsa for his wife before adding the spicy peppers. Protect this man at all costs!
Some men actually love their woman. This is a good man
😥😩🤧 Can't find this type of honesty these days. Sweet man.
Oh my goodness that looks so good! I love watching you shows!
Great shoutout, I love watching her cook at the ranch. I bet they have some great times and great meals there.
The artistic different camera angles and editing are really adding a lot to the videos! Love your authentic cooking.
Arnie!!!I watch her too. She's such a sweet viejita!!!! Makes good simple fresh ranch food. Gotta try this one also!!! Your salsas are so simple and quick to throw together. Only thing missing was a piece of carne asada,or a BRAT!!!! AS always you leave us with our mouth watering!!!! Take care my Arnie, and stay outa this Texas heat wave!!! Stay fresh and safe God bless my friend!! from el paso tx many blessings💗
Wow!!! Love all your recipes. I am a huge salsa fan. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the salsa and cheese dip.
This looks sooooo good! It's amazing how this style of SW or Mexican cooking is so similar to Lao and North East Thai cooking. We do almost exactly the same thing. Just season with Fish sauce and lime and eat with Sticky Rice.
I am going to try the salsa it looks good I bet with fresh, refried beans and queso fresco
Okay, I’m about to make some queso fresco! 🤤
When my grandmother would make corn tortillas we would put her chile en vinegar with some queso fresco, 😋
Thank You So Much dear friend 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
I'm living in CO now and if I ever taste oregano or basil in my salsa.. it's not ok! They're killing me out here with this italian base.. have to make my own. And that chunky homemade/fresh.. amazing.
Oregano in salsa has nothing to do with Italian food lol
i hated salsa until i saw your channel.
I now make my own 1-3 times a week 🙌🏻
Many thanks for the great ideas and greetings from Germany
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊
Un trabajo impecable en el contenido y en la edición, recetas que inspiran cocinar y un hombre afable y con carisma real y espontáneo, que mas podemos pedir
Felicidades!!!
Gracias
Looks delicious....👍👍
Gracias from Oklahoma! We love your cooking videos (and your sweet madre)!!
Super cool of you to acknowledge Doña Angela and her channel! I love her channel too! Would love to build an outdoor kitchen just like hers with a big comal and a real wood fire.
I haven't tried working with nopales yet, but I would like to try them your way in some salsa!
Yesssss nothing better than cooking out in"nature"!! With a nice glass of 🍷 or some🍻
I think everything tastes better when you can make it outside in YOUR backyard! I’d love to do it in my backyard but it’s 115° average lately! No bueno!!
Now I’m hungry!
Really enjoy watching your authentic recipes. Thanks buddy!
Best food and best teacher out there.
Gracias, tio Arnie!
I just discovered you but when you preached the refried beans sermon, I took notes! Now I’m hooked! My dad was a pitman, expert in NC sauce and que so I feel extra bonded to you and your style. The Spanish rice recipe is also going in the rotation!
Esa tosesita at 7:21 says it all….picosa pero sabrosa. Saludos Arnie….puro WOW y OG!

Daaamn Arnie! Where can I pick up machete #1? Haha! Thank you for another amazing video! You're certainly helping me keep my fathers spirit alive with all your dishes here in my home! Thank you so much for that! My wife and I always look forward to watching your videos together! Gonna drink a cold one for you tonight in your honor brother! 🍻
I love your voice really soothing ❤
That's a very good recipe Uncle Arni,I need to buy some of Your spices, I've been watching cook on U-tube ,keep up the good work ! MARCUS PEÑA
Made salsa for a church function the other day and I grilled all my ingredients, my wife said no one does this and I'm wrong. I worked at a golf course and Maria made salsa once a week and she always grilled everything to a slight char. It was the best salsa ever. My wife thinks Pace picanta is salsa😂 everyone at church said the salsa I made was awesome. Real salsa. My wife's mom is from Venezuela and even she said my salsa was great. She's a classically trained French chef and she said to add sugar. What's your thoughts on that.
Nopales.... Cactus?
I see them in the store (WALMART) but didn't know what to do with them..
LOL
EXCELLENT Video as always...
Always awesome food and laughter never fails on either 😂🤣😂
I have never put cactus in sals. I guna trying it will my cactus I grow. Thank you for a new idea.
Thank you. 😊
Makes my mouth water😂🤤 true Mexican American 🇲🇽🇺🇸
Damn you an OG showing respect to a triple OG. Love watching both of yalls videos 🫡 that salsa looks bomb 😁
The ability to say you’re going to “attempt” to re-create her recipe knowing how good you are in the kitchen is really respectable; humbleness is something a lot of us tend to lose the older we get and the longer we do something.. I love watching cooking videos, but I’ll admit I’ve got absolutely no business in the kitchen. I’m horrible at it.😂😂
Fantastic man, that is some high quality salsa!
Love your recipes
Salsa looks really good
Can you add more mexican recipes like posole, carnitas, green chile, enchiladas? Pretty please with a cherry pepper on top! I'm from Colorado (born & raised) & grew up with mexican restaurants everywhere.. well I'm moving to the out skirts of buffalo soon & was looking at their "mexican" restaurants online & left me sad that they dont know mexican food. 🤔 Its my absolute favorite food & i dont know how to make any of it. 😭😢 Thank you! 😊 Love your videos! ❤
This man makes me so hungry. I start snacking after watching him😊
Thank you for your wonderful content. Love it. Angela is wonderful too! Can you put in a word with Angela to add English subtitles for us gringos? Lol Dying to know what she’s saying. My Spanglish is no match for the ranch’s kitchen. ☺️💜
I think it's time to consider the famous and inexpensive Chinese Vegetable Cleaver! Chinese people use this kind of chopping, with two very sharp cleavers, they have a slight curve to the blade. This seems like a good way in general to have some texture in the food, and not just turn it into liquid. I haven't seen salsa made with nopales before, by the way.
My ama in México goes out to her wood stove an makes salsa like this
Like this guys energy . And funny
Man Arnie I need to drive down from the Hillcountry and drink a Dos Equis and eat some of that salsa.. I’m a big fan of chunky salsa and that looks amazing. Corn tortilla, Oaxaca cheese, salsa, and some Asada with a cold Dos Equis..
Looks amazing! Will be trying soon! 👍🏻
Outstanding!
Looks pretty simple, I'll give this one a try.
I like that salsa I'm going to try and make it from Monroe N.C.
This is a definite yes at the next cook out!
Muey Rico ! 🤠
excited to try this one!
Looks delicious
Loved my salsa❤❤❤❤❤
Looks juicy
Love you Arnie. El mero mero
Looks Amazing. No Acidity, Lime or Lemon? Just Wondering If Acidity Could Move This Up A Level.
Cannot wait to make this, Thanks for sharing. Where can I get a grill like that ?
Salsa looks excellent Arnie, bet that taco was 🔥
My Mexican brother, I watched your video @the 9 O'clock hour. Damn, the instant hunger that overcame was way too much to handle. What the Hell did I do? Had Mexican with Salsa! Thanks for the great video that I will most certainly try on Saturday & show off to my 3 grandkids. Thanks again Sir ArnieTex.
That looks tasty could I get the recipe? Not sure how to spell how you pronounced the cactus, I live in Florida and am wondering where I could get some of these ingredients other than growing them myself?
When can we find you’re spices at HEB??????
Or local Texas meat markets
Hey it's looks delicious!!! Are green tomatoes ripe or unripe? Are those big green cactus leaves? What can we replace them with?
Mexi Mario. National treasure.
Looks amazing 😋
Arnie I can’t believe you didn’t bust out that old rusty machete from the lawn shack out back my friend !! Haha. Great video and nice shout out to your tia. Awesome
That looks delicious! You earned a subscriber!!
