These videos are getting me pumped for my Juillard audition next year! I'm also very lucky to have friends and colleagues who've attended for that added support!
Im glad our content is valuable to you! 🎭❤️ And that’s great that you have a support team for your auditions this year. If you’re looking for any more guidance, feel free to reach out to me here: john@howtogetintodramaschool.com 👍
This was really helpful! One think that really stuck in my head was the change of perspective from “ugh I broke the rope I messed up” to “wow I’m so pumped and cool that I broke the rope yeaaah”. Perspective is really important and I had never thought of intentionally changing it like that but that’s really smart!
Clara, I’m glad that resonated with you. Mia is an incredible talent and we’re grateful she’s willing to share her story with you! The imagination is a powerful thing and you can use it in myriad ways. Are you planning on auditioning for drama school?
I don't know how you would feel addressing it on this channel, but I would love to see a conversation or video with Marion Grey and talking about her experiences with Juilliard and perhaps some issues of performing arts schools that potential students should be aware of.
Hank, absolutely. We have a lot of insights into many aspects of Juilliard and other drama schools. School research is important, and each students cares about different things. If you’re thinking about applying to drama school, I’d love to hear about where you’re at and what you’re looking for. Email me and we’ll connect - anthony@howtogetintodramaschool.com Marion’s experiences with drama school are valid and personal, and we support her just like we support any other individual. This channel is focused on how to get into drama school. Meaning, for those who are committed to going, we help you get in. If there are any concerns about going, you can reach out to us personally to discuss and we can offer insight to help you make the strongest decision for you. Does that make sense?
Hi! This was a really helpful video, thanks for posting it :D Still, even after watching it, I continue to have some questions about the audition, especially for the monologues. I never thought they would be so hard lol. Can I contact you guys through email? Is it still open? Thank you in advance :D
