Mia Wurgaft (Juilliard Drama Group 54) is going to Grad School at Juilliard and getting her MFA in Acting. In this video, she shares about monologues, callbacks, & the whole dang process!

I’m so glad to see this, I knew I recognized her face from somewhere. I was in the Juilliard final round callbacks with Mia for the fall of 2021 but unfortunately I did not make the final cut. This video has given me some more hope for the next time I audition. Thank you so much guys!

Mutamba! Not sure if you remember me or our little group- and that's okay, but I'm saddened to hear that you unfortunately weren't offered admission. I was able to watch your brilliant work in the final callback weekend (especially Richard's class). Maintain hopeful! Re-apply! I'm sure your art will soon be witnessed by all! Best of luck!

@@mutambakumbi4939 Seeing this 2 years later and I'm wondering if y'all applied again and got through. I made it to Yale DGSD final callbacks this year but couldn't crack it...
omg i’m watching this after having made it to end of day at Juilliard and waiting to see if I made the final callback and Mia’s journey is incredibly similar to mine! Even her answers as to why she applied and what she wanted from the experience are like mine and some of what happened in the room during the audition as well! I hope I get through and I hope I get to meet Mia :) she’s lovely!

Hi Hannah! Thanks so much for your questions. I sang Billie Eilish's "My Future" and the plays were: Detroit, Rapture Blister Burn, Everything is Wonderful, Hardcell, and the Vertical Hour. Hope this helps!
