👏👏👏Wonderful! You are literally a one-man team. The shots, the image selection, the soundtrack, the storytelling, the post-production... It's all great, and you're doing it all on your own. If you had the opportunities of a mainstream TV channel, who knows what you could achieve.
Aww, I’m glad you took some time after losing beautiful Chase. I think I’ll always have days when I miss my dog Otis & that’s ok. It shows how much I still love him. Great video Christine xx
I got emotional watching this video and the reason is how enjoyable is looking those spots throughout your eyes. I can also feel the emotions you could be experiencing at the time you are showing us an especial place. Like I told you before, I am learning English and can’t imagine a better class than knowing new and magical places while I am getting insides from the language from your experiences. Thanks a lot and I got in love of New Orleans. Greetings from Dominican Republic
Watching these videos makes me want to jump in my car and go. I have no idea where but waking up to a new view every morning, even if it is a truck stop, seems wonderful.
It is pretty wonderful! There are cons for sure but I love waking up and seeing a new sight out of my window most days...even if it's just a parking lot! I hope you do jump in your car and go somewhere 😃
@@ChristineMeachumI've been inspired. I just got the time off and will be going to Lake Tahoe in July, just me, my car, and my bike, no hotel, no plans, I'm just going to wing it.
Thanks for taking us along on this incredible tour of New Orleans! 🎉 That muffuletta sandwich looked absolutely mouthwatering 😋. And your message about taking your time and prioritizing self-care really resonated with me. It's refreshing to see a content creator who values balance and well-being. Can't wait to see more adventures from you!
Hello my friend I’m so sorry you’re missing chase ❤️ Big hugs to you‼️I hope your t brings you joy snd comfort knowing you are lifting many spirit’s by bringing us such fun content and experience we may otherwise not get to have! In this episode my favorite was the cemetery I’m a sucker for cemeteries and the fact that you slept right out front of one you are brave and you rock‼️❤️
My daughter & I took a weekend trip to New Orleans. What fun! I think we walked every square inch of that city. We also rode that streetcar & visited the cemetery. We went on the ferry too. Enjoyed beignets & chicory coffee @ Café Du Monde. Great trip. So much to do.
Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful and historical side of New Orleans. So rich in history and culture. You captured it so well. The cemetery was especially cool. Always fascinated by old ones in particular. The sandwich looked quite delicious too😋 Love how the joy you are feeling bubbles over in your smile and twinkling eye as you went from site to site. Thank you again. Take care, keep safe and see you on your next video👍🏻🙏🏻😃☺️
Yum, I need to visit New Orleans for the good. Thanks for sharing your trip there with us. I'm glad you took some time to grieve Chase's passing. I think it's appropriate that the first main attraction after his death was a cemetery to remind us all how precious life is and how quickly it can pass.
That was a great video, Christine, as always! You are a great storyteller and have a great personality. Thank you for sharing your time and experiences. One of these days, I will leave my cave and see the sun again. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy! Everything else is manageable! Pops
Such a beautiful and historic environment to be visiting! That historic trolley ride looked so enjoyable, as you soaked up all the history around you. I know that you still miss Chase as we all do, but I’m glad to see you happy again with your ability to travel wherever life takes you! ✅. Thanks for sharing the beauty of New Orleans with us!💕 Take care, stay safe, and enjoy your travels. Until your next location and video… 💕
I am so sorry for your loss. I travel in a van with my two large dogs. It is challenging because it limits where we can go and what we can do but I cannot imagine not having them with me. I can empathize with the struggle you must be going through. ❤
In 2019 I won presidents award with my company and the trip was New Orleans. I went and did all the things you did. I am surprised I didn't see you on a paddle wheel boat. We rode the Natchez. The tour of the grave yard was really cool as well. I got a stone from it that I kept! It was an amazing trip. I would go back if I could.
I drive a semi so my life isn’t dramatically different than this. I went walking around Savannah Georgia yesterday with another driver. Very cool town. Living in my truck is kinda like living in a very small RV. I don’t think I would last too long living in a car.
I lost my fur baby in July 2021 and I just now got another fur bay December 29th 2023, I tried once before to get another fur baby and I wasn’t ready however after almost 3 and a half years I was able to except a new fur baby! Chase is always and forever missed. With lots of love and many blessings have safe and fun travels
Hi Christine, Ha, I bet it was a quiet night by the cemetery. If your fort on wheels takes you to Dallas, you can tour another city by streetcar. Safe Travels
Know exactly how much u miss Chase I had numerous fur babies who grew old and died!😢😢 But u will prevail be happy ur able to travel while ur young!!😊😊 Keep telling my son who's a bit younger than u, he needs to travel extensively b4 he's an old man and can't! U r a really good narrator! U should have gone into journalism!
Thinking of you while you are healing as Chase went to heaven 🙏 I know how hard it is lost my beautiful Shetland sheepdog about 3 yrs ago ♥️ 😢It is so hard getting yourself back to a new normal 💖 Take your time dear friend ❤We will be here for you as you begin to spread your wings and travel again May God be with you always, Lori ❤
Keeps getting better and better - you have great skills with the videography and stories you tell. Giving us an amazing tour of places most of us have never or won’t be able to see. Regardless if you are showing us beautiful landscapes, historic areas, animals, food, or your day to day I find myself smiling and soaking it all in. You are amazing at what you do and I for one am grateful for you following your dreams despite the challenges it brings. Even though I have a few years on you I find that you are an inspiration. You have a great head on your shoulders and I always gain a different perspective on things when you talk with us. Thank you so much and as always stay safe out there.
That was a very nice trip, Christine! I’ve RV camped in NOLA many times and you gave fresh insight into many familiar haunts!! Thank you and I miss Chase, too…
Come to French Lick Indiana to see our two beautiful grand hotels . But we don’t have a planet fitness 😢 so sorry for the loss of your beautiful dog Chase!
Thanks for bringing us along Christine. A couple times I’ve been in New Orleans I seem to spend all my time on Bourbon Street and barrooms. never saw the places you visited. If I ever go again I’ll have to see what you saw. Great video and thank you.
Nice video! I used to live in south Louisiana so it was great to see the NOLA sights again. I will definitely ride the streetcar next time I visit as its something I've never done.
New subscriber, enjoying your videos so far. From Traverse City, MI. Sorry about Chase, I’ve lost pets close to me and it’s never easy. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
So sad to hear. I have not heard of Chase before this. He was your dog? My dog is my best friend and she goes with me everywhere. She is getting old and recently had surgery to remove some lumps, but overall is doing well and is a joy to be around. I do not know what my life will be like without her, but I would imagine it will be miserable. I thank the stars every day she is still with me!
Thanks for another great video Christine! I’ll try not to take up much of your time here, but after seeing the cemetery, I want to tell you about an experience I had. I watched a video about a woman who married a guy in the late 1700s out east, Pennsylvania, I think. He decided it would be a good idea to start a farm in Indian territory. Like an idiot, he took an extended trip and left her and their three young sons alone. Indians kidnapped har and her sons, eventually killing the older two boys. One night, she took her remaining son, a toddler, and escaped, almost being caught a couple times. They made it back to safety because of her courage and smarts. She ended up living her last years in my hometown and is in the cemetery there. The video showed a picture of her gravestone and I recognized where it was and visited it. I know it was kind of sad, but the story and ending are very interesting. Anyway, im glad you’re doing better. Have fun!
Love your video. Happy travels. FYI: You may not have heard that the World Health Organization declared processed meats a Class 1 carcinogen, like cigarettes.
Hey girl. Do you think you’ll get another pup? It was the best thing for me. I still miss my Pearl tho but my new dog is soooooo sweet and a rescue too.
What a wonderful video and depth of history of this city. Very true this cemetery reminds us that one day we all will be gone regardless of race, gender or religion and replace by another human being..... Your life style is truly amazing, scary, daring, challenging and sometimes rewarding. Please be careful out there it takes a lot of courage to have this life style and I am sure you go thru many ups and down in your life in day to day activity.....
So sorry to hear about Chase. Always hard to lose a family pet. I have been watching all your videos, and really enjoy them. However, I was wondering if you only do this in the spring/sumer, because, I was wondering how difficult it would be to do those in harsh weather?
Amazing video Christine. It's great to see that you're moving foward one day at a time, while still keeping Chases' memory. When you slept next to the cemetery, I remembered in Nevada (I don't know the specific city) , but there is a Clown Motel literally clown themed and it's on the same property as a cemetary. I'm not brave enough to visit there, but if you were interested, I think that be a cool place eventually for you to see. 😊❤
Native New Orleanian here. Always glad when visitors come here and pass a good time. Thanks for showing the city at our best. Happy travels!
So glad you like it! 😃Thanks for watching and commenting! 😃🙏🏼

Aww, I’m glad you took some time after losing beautiful Chase.
I think I’ll always have days when I miss my dog Otis & that’s ok. It shows how much I still love him. Great video Christine xx
Our best friends never die. They live in our hearts and souls forever ❤
You could drive east to Georgia to Jekyll Island north to Savannah and Charleston all are close together and great towns.
I lived about 20 miles upriver from New Orleans all my life . Love Louisiana food the most!
You do a great job of describing the foods/drinks you are having. So much better than "oooh, it's so good!".
I got emotional watching this video and the reason is how enjoyable is looking those spots throughout your eyes. The part about feeling like a kid in a magic fort; that was great! I love that!
It was great. Took me back to my fort making days 😂 she always has a great perspective.
We love your videos Christine ❤❤❤❤
You should submit your posts to The Travel Channel. You should have your own television show.
Agreed 👍

I don't know what a muffeletta is but I want one!
You’re going to be ok, Christine. You’re inspiring so many! Hugging you! ❤ Your videos are so enjoyable to watch. Great videography!
The muffuletta looked delicious and Riverview parlor seems like a fitting place to end the day watching the boats! Thanks!

If you are still down that way I would recommend looking up the band Tuba Skinny. They are the real deal when it comes to New Orleans Jazz!

Christine, you asked --- Ducks at 5:31 are the Black-bellied Whistling Duck. Unlike most ducks, these do whistle.
