It's not budget friendly when 9 crates will cost you up to $200 and a queen air mattress is another $100. Just buy a portable/foldable bedframe for less than $75.

Agreed, but in a cramped apartment, utilization of the space under the bed for organized storage might be worth the cost. Now in 2024, three years after your post, those storage totes are now about $160 for 9, and the mattress is now $70 from Sam's' Club. So yeah, still in your estimate ballpark :)

Home inspectors tend to notice heel and furniture dents in floors. I personally do not like staged homes. It gives the seller ways to decieve the buyer by hiding flaws they don't want to lower any
offers.
