Just got the 12” version of this sub. Paired it with a 500 Watt Rockford Fosgate amp in the trunk of my son’s Kia Rio.
The trunk isn’t big and I didn’t want to take up all of the room back there so this sub was the best option.
It sounds half decent with the RF amp. I know we could have achieved the same output for a lot less money but there is no way it would have been this small.
Small and durable is what we needed and this sub fits that perfectly.
These look promising for sure! Kicker stepping up their game for 2020
I dig them too!
I have the 12 and that thing has major deep bass!! Im going to get 2 more!
I’ve had one since Christmas. Lot of sound loss compared the 12” outward firing. If you have the means, definitely get the standard. Does Looks mint in the boot however.
That be cool to stack like 4-5 of them 😁
can't wait to see you guys test it!
I don't understand why do y'all hate this video he give good information he's on his shit
People loooove to hate man, it's TH-cam
Love the 8” still a little large for my cab but will make it work
I have a 2016 Mazda Mx-5 and curious as to which on the three would be best suited for the car.
FYI, the 8" sold out on Kicker as of this writing.
I’m looking at these also since I got 2021 max-5. I’m guessing the 8 or 10 “ would fit perfectly. I’m trying to decide on what size. Leaning towards the 10”
In need of some advice.
I am new to this.
I just got the 12” version with a CXA800.1. to go into my 2018 Ford F-150 supercrew.
Which input should I use high or low?
If tapping the factory sub-amp leads use the high level in
I have 12 compRT enclosure (1ohm Sub) in there. no regrets
Would a 800w kicker amp work well for the 12”?
As long as it puts out 500 watts at 2 ohms if you get the 2 ohm variant, or 500 at 4 ohms if you've got the 4 ohm variant
Can't wait
Can I hook up 4 gauge wire to this sub?
No, it wont accept that large of gauge.
Test it
Everyone is saying all the pros about this thing being space friendly, and yes it is very space friendly. But let’s give it credit where credit is earned, this thing booms, unless you want to rattle your fucking car apart then this thing thumps plenty hard and this is coming from a 17 year old bass loving kid.
Can you hook them together to run 2 or more.?
No reason you couldn't. Just keep in mind your impedance.
Why does it look like has a black eye
Jim's Mutha likes the 12"
Which is why she dumped you
Thumbs up the vid.
:)
first!
Bass quality poor!
