He does die a final time and he doesn't come back to life in the last cutscene in the main campaign.
I'm pretty sure that Eltariel has become bound to the Bright Lord just as Talion is to Sauron. It would make sense as to why she didn't just give the New Ring back to Talion then. In the ending, she goes to search for her new master just as a Nazgul would do for Sauron.
Talion only died when he took off the New Ring because the Black Hand killed him before he became a vessel of Celebrimbor. Eltariel was still alive when she put on the New Ring, so she very well could give it back to Talion.
I guess that "Ogg Bow of Morgoth" was one of the original Orcs that was created back in the First Age.

Talion is a Nazgul, so he didn’t die but instead regained his power at Minas-something being ready to fully embrace the darkness within him and serve the Witch King. This matches up perfectly.
Talion goes full nazgul, Eltariel fails to kill him because its literally impossible to kill him, talion escapes and then goes off to join the nine.

its highly unlikely to happen but I'd love to play as full nazgul Talion, yes I know he "fell" and even attacked Eltariel but Celebrimbor proves that you can be evil and oppose Sauron, also the 2 sisters in this DLC aren't exactly under Sauron's control either so its not impossible for Talion to go against Sauron. maybe he did what he did in the ending for very different reasons, maybe he chased whoever had the one ring because he wanted it himself, maybe he was at the final battle near mt. doom to fuck shit up and be a thorn in Sauron's side.
The story still doesn't make any sense, but i really love the way they paint the orcs... nice tribute to the seven samurai by the way!

Just like Elder Scrolls Online, ruining the lore for the sake of gameplay (if ESO had been a reboot I could have accepted it, but it isn't) (the setting, Alliances, the portrayal of the khajiit as Southeast Asian, using axes and heavy plate armor (in lore khajiit prefer using scimitars and don't use heavy armor), non-sentiant "Senche-tigers" that are not khajiit (there is no such thing as a non-sentiant Senche as they are a form of khajiit) (an excuse to give every race access to feline mounts) among other things.
True but it is essentially the same thing, the lore is made to suit the gameplay.
Here is a quotes Reddit post sumoring up the major lore inconsistencies:
"1) Changes to the timeline
Theese are relatively easy to spot. The games take place shortly after the Hobbit (2941 Third Age), but shows the fall of the Black Gate, which in the books was abandoned arround 1640 T.A., and the Fall of Minas Ithil, originally in 2002 T.A. In short, the games act like Sauron is just reestablishing or has just reestablished his control over Mordor, while in the books at the time the games are supposed to take place Sauron's forces have been in control of Mordor for nearly a thousand years.
A minor timeline issue compared to that is also Gollums pressence in Mordor so shortly after the Hobbit. Following the books he is not supposed to be in Mordor until after Bilbo's birthday party.
2) Changes to charcters:
The most egregious example here is of course the game's portrayal of Shelob. Her depiction in the game, even leaving aside the whole sexy woman buissness, is completely contrary to her characterisation in the books, where it is explicitely stated that she only really cares about her next meal and does not care for the affairs of the wider world at all. In the games she somehow has prophetic powers and tries to advice the protagonist for the good of Middle-earth. It also seems like she is Sauron's ex-Girlfriend, while in the books she was just a convient guardian for the pass at Cirith Ungol for him, he called her his "cat". She definiely is not one of the "unsung heroes of Middle-earth".
Second of course would be Celebrimbor here: Unlike what the games says, he was not involved in the making of the One Ring, nor did he steal the Ring from Sauron, in Sammath Naur of all places, and raised an army of mind-controlled orcs against him. He obviously also never became a wraith, possesed a human host or merged with Sauron and trapped him in the form of a giant eye atop Barad-dur, a mistake from the Jackson movies. The whole second One Ring is also complete bulls..t.
We also have Helm Hammerhand as a Nazgul. This is also an instance where the games completely disregard the actual timeline, as the Nazgul appeared arround 2251 Second Age and Celebrimbor died in 16697 Second Age (the games shows him handing a Ring of Power to Helm alongside Sauron), both events more than 3800 years prior to Helm' death in 2759 Third Age. The story of Helm told in the flashback is also completely different from his story as told in the appendices of LotR.
Also on the Nazgul front we have Isildur, wo could not have been a Nazgul because he died and Suladan, a character who is for all intents and purposes the last King of Numenor Ar-Pharazon, but is not called that despite them having the rights to the names.
3) Changes to the metaphyical rules of Middle-earth:
Going back to Shelob here for a bit: The developers tried to justify her having shapeshifting powers by claiming that her mother Ungoliant was a Maia and thus had theese powers, which then Shelob inherited. However, despite Ungoliant being a spirit entity of some description, it is unclear whether she was a Maia or not, nor is there any line that suggest that she or Shelob had shapeshifting powers. Even if they had, they would have lost them upon procreating, which both of them did.
There is also the fact that the games got the Nazgul wrong. In the books they are man, that through extended use and possesion of the Rings of Power eventually faded into the Unseen becoming invisible and are controlled by Sauron. In the games semi-coporeal and glowing, and still wearing their rings. The games also suggest that upon losing them, they somehow turn coporeal again. The games also say that Sauron can create a new Nazgul after the previous died even without the Ring. In the books not only did the Nazgul never die, neither before nor after their wraithification, Sauron could not have made any new Nazgul, the original were already completely under his control. If he could, he would have had atleast twelve of them by the time of LotR (original nine + the ones created using the regained dwarven Rings) or even more, as it is heacily implied that the Nazgul did not weats theirs any more.
The big change however is how the game treats the subject of death. When Men die in Middle-earth they do not return from death. This makes the very existence of the protagonist impossible, who according to the developers died at the beginning of the game and then possibly multiple time over the course of the game. It also makes Isildur being one of the Nazgul impossible. The games also later give the protagonist the ability to resurrect orcs as undead.
4) Themes
The games are a quintessential power fantasy in my opinion and as such are incompatible with Tolkien's themes. You go arround casually slaughtering orcs and mind-controlling them, all the while using your other awesome wraith- and ring-powers. While the games narrative definitely suggest that mind-controlling orcs is wrong and that using that kind of power corrupts, the fact remains that the games not only encourage the behaviour in the players, but sometimes even requires it and thus the story fails to deliver its message in a meaningfull way, remaining without impact."
And making two of the Nazgul female in the expansion because why not, despite that the Nazgul bieng described both in the book and the film as having once been great kings of men.
The khajiit in ESO have a very Khemer / Indonesian culture rather then a more Middle-eastern one that they are portrayed as (indirectly) in lore and books from the main games. Look up the Oblivion mod "Elsweyr: Deserts of Anequina" for a more lore-friendly depiction of Elsweyr and the khajiit. (It even have most of the khajiit forms in it, some as playable races.)
I would say that Moonpath to Elsweyr (the Skyrim mod) is quite lore-friendly. There is also the unreleased Beyond Skyrim Elsweyr Project, but that is to much like ESO in aesthetic for my liking.
Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War aren’t canon so the developers can do what ever they like

The DLC takes place during the same time as Act IV. The last scene is right before Talion becomes a Nazgul.
Uh huuuuuuuh, of course two of the nine kings of men is a pair of Japanese female twins even though any sort of Asian culture has never been added in Middle-Earth. Also they killed two original Nazgul which is impressive considering this Eltariel chick has failed to do so countless times and it's her entire purpose.

Why did the makers need LotR to make the Shadow-Of series? With the imagination they've put into making their wacky orc characters, they could have made anything- ANYTHING with orcs to dominate.
I mean, look at the Flint brothers! Just FREEZE them in this snapshot! 26:11. You don't need J.R. Tolkien's help to get that off the ground!
So she Gets her finger cut off in the ending, Falls unconscious for seemingly decades because this Dlc takes place after/the very end of the shadow wars where talion has been fighting looong after Eltariel loses, But when she wakes its as if everything is still recent after act 3 of the game, i’m trying to wrap my head around it but you’re telling me while Talion was slaving away & falling to darkness for decades Eltariel was having a nap; only to her it hasn’t been that long maybe a few hours but for Talion it’s been an eternity longer. Was Eltariel just really tired after hunting Nazghul or was she somehow warped to the future, either of which scenarios they don’t make sense story wise and is kinda jankyly placed all over the Timeline.
Desolation of Mordor is a little similar but not as messy as BOG, the only question I have about that is if it takes place right after Act 1 proceeding the fall of Minas Ithil while Talion was killed temporarily by Eltariel; or if the Dlc takes place at the tail end/After shadow Wars.
When you first meet Baranor in Sereghost he tells Talion how he found out he’s Heradrim/Easterling which made me think it takes place during the main story. However at the End of Desolation Baranor tells his brother about more forts in Mordor to Raze, specifically the one in Gorgoroth which is subsequently the location of Last Gondorion mission; which draws me to think that the Dlc takes place after the game. Personally i’d like to place it in between the main story but before Talion begins really taking over mordor as Lithlad is a conquerable region and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be under the Bright Lords command unless this is before he starts conquering mordor or after shadow Wars when Talions forts are depleted and reconquered by Sauron’s forces
Those specific discrepancies on the Timelines is something i’m trying to understand & clear up even if it’s most likely the Game Devs forgetting those details I’d like to know if anyone can clear the discrepancies & piece together these events in the timeline.

I can't say Talion is the best written character in LOTR, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want a happier end for him; but this is fine... I suppose? I mean, we all knew Talion was going to die, he was already dead basically. I thought it was cool how he turned into a pseudo-nasgul. But I guess that's just me, since most of the people I've seen talking about it seem to think the ending and what happened to Talion was shit.

DLC is decent. Just really short. No more than two hours of story.
I think she's intended for the next game... Which I hope is not the case because I didnt like playing as her in the DLC. The devs are truly surprised by the huge amount of people who didnt like her. When they announced new skins and showcased her secret dark skin people were genuinely pissed off because people dont like her and the devs were totally baffled by it. Here's hoping any planned game with Eltariel was canned as a result.

Celebrimbor anchored himself to the Middle-Earth by creating the New Ring. Just like Sauron.
xMrDemonRushx sauron doesn‘t use the ring as an anchor it is more a means to stop his loss of power, he uses it as a battery of sort. After the ring is destroyed he looses so much power that he can‘t keep himself together.
Teros Sauron put most of his own "soul"(as much as this word can be used to describe Maia) in the Ring, it is true that he will lose his power if the Ring is destroyed, but this is because most of Sauron will be destroyed too. At least that's what both wiki and Lotr wiki say.

Really wanted Eltariel to be killed off in the end, but I guess it wouldn’t have been too good for the endgame content
I think she's intended for the next game... Which I hope is not the case because I didnt like playing as her in the DLC. The devs are truly surprised by the huge amount of people who dont like her. When they announced new skins and showcased her secret dark skin people were genuinely pissed off because people much preferred Talion and the devs were totally baffled by it. Here's hoping any planned game with Eltariel as lead was canned as a result.

which brings up another good question. how the hell do orcs breed? theres no sight of any orc females and little to mention of them in the lore. do they capture females from outside mordor and use em to breed their armies. I've heard tell that they grow or breed them in some type of alchemical primordial soup mix stuff but they never confirm that either.
