- Another driver who weaved between enforcers who were trying to stop him for a yellow lane violation.
Because of the angle, you can’t see the enforcer at the front actually had to jump out of the way of the vehicle.
A rider chased after the vehicle and brought it to a stop.
- The driver started with apologies.
- Next he said it was an emergency
- Then he started name dropping people in the MMDA.
- After that he said he was just going too fast
- Finally he started name dropping a religious group and some people associated with that group.
Seriously, you’re going to risk killing an enforcer over a P1000 ticket for using the bus lane?
And do you think your friends and contacts will appreciate you throwing their names out there? especially for something so trivial?
As always, I've blanked out the names that were dropped because there's no way to know if he's really connected with those people or just heard the names somewhere. And even if he does know them, I doubt they would condone what he's doing

I just can't understand why this specific driver doesn't want to give his license. He admitted his mistake and the entire thing was caught on video too. Good thing Col. Nebrija is very patient. Keep up the good work!
Pride probably. Since 'he is a lawyer', he doesn't want to taint his pride 'just' because he violated traffic laws.

What I don't understand is why he wasn't dragged out of his vehicle and put in cuffs after refusing to provide his license multiple times.
Well some people natural human instinct is to try to avoid violation, we don't know why and I am very sure a lot of us have done that. In front of the camera any government officials will have to compose themselves in a more professional way. He's no going to be stupid enough to behave unacceptably in of the camera millions of people watching. It's polical behavior.. yun lang yun

In 🇺🇸 this kind of back and forth arguing wouldn’t be accepted. Once you decline to show your identification, you will be arrested and the car would be impounded at the spot. PERIOD!

Running away from the enforcers and putting their lives in danger is a serious offense. Theses hard headed drivers will never learn.The MMDA should apply more harsh punishment to violators in this case. A hefty fine and driver's license suspension will surely calm them down.

Root cause is the entitlement mentality. "Kilala ko si ganito, kilala ko si ganyan“ Nasa culture na kasi ng pinoy ang ganyan at attitude na rin. Plus idagdag mo pa ang iilang corrupt traffic enforcers.
Mga utak kwago mag ganyan dinadamay pa mga boss nila, sila naman gumawa ng kasalanan.

something about not wanting to hand over licenses in the PH is common...I agree using threat of arrest, but they are not policeman, only traffic enforcers....in the states, our policeman are the traffic enforcers
@@BayaniMagtanggol Mayroon pong tamang panahon at lugar sa paggamit ng diplomasya at kung puro naman diplomasya ay mas lalong mawawala ang respeto ng mga violators sa mga enforcers.
Kung kikiling naman tayo sa takot na ipapapatay ang enforcer dahil sa napikon ang violator then alisin na lang ang enforcers sa kalsada at hayaan na batas militar ang paganahin o Martial Law.
Marami pong mga tao sa panahon natin ngayon ang hindi na marunong matakot sa batas kaya nga garapalan na ang krimen sa kalsada. Kaunti na lang ang may totohanang disiplina at respeto, yan ay dahil na rin sa sobrang demokrasya at labis na paggamit ng kalayaan.

Whether you got hyperbolic or metaphoric, it is still not a good practice to begin with.
I have been to security job so dealing with people with maximum tolerance is part of my job but implementation of the policies or law has its thorn and in the case of MMDA enforcers I believe it is wise to be strict with stubborn violators.

Thanks for great videos on very important situations! I'd add I wish mmda could add a per hour charge for everyone who wants to argue their way out of a ticket......cut down on the bs.
Since driver's license is a PRIVILEDGE, violations like this should result to revokation of license.

That's the problem with these drivers always speeding and ignoring traffic enforcers, and once stopped they will always give you reasons that they have an emergency or will refuse to give their driver's license. If not that they will always mention names of their connection in government or law enforcement...

Just get the name take photos vehicle registration then send to Police for possible case or LTO to summon or fine the driver for refusing to follow the law.

Sa America kasi police officers din ang nagpapatupad ng traffic rules unlike dito na hiwalay na ahensya ang nasa traffic. Unfortunately, MMDA and traffic enforcers ng LGU don't have the right to arrest someone. Only police have the right kaya sana maging active ang HPG sa traffic regulations.

watching this, makes me so irritated and pissed off...wtf!!! In the states, getting pulled over, we automatically prepare ourselves to hand over our drivers license, we never never ever try to explain(one explanation, then stop) or talk our way out...this kind of thinking doesn't ever make sense...PLEASE, HANDOVER YOUR LICENSE, WITHOUT HESITANT AND WASTING THE OFFICERS TIME!!!!! additionally, when you see enforcers on the road, you driver safe(to avoid attention), not wrecklessly!...and it is obvious, stalling because he most likely don't have a license....and one more, based on experiences, officers know this behavior by now, they need to use another approach to deal with this, like using stronger language including and bigger fine and or vehicle impound with including license suspension.
Handing over your license without talking or even asking your violation or why they need it is terribly wrong though.
@@bugmaster05 no, of course we have an idea what we did wrong and they will tell us what we have done wrong...our police dont suggest bribes nor take bribes. We automatically know it will be requested, so we prepare ourselves to hand it over. What they do with the license is to check your identity in case you have an outstanding warrant for arrest and also to write out a ticket. We dont normally stall, as in many cases here. If we dont have a drivers license, we let the officer know instead of pretending we have one and talk circles. I dont wanna have the police man on me any longer than he needs to be. We just wanna get it over with so we both can move along. No sense in wasting both our times. By the way, just handing over your license peacefully and being calm, might get you just a friendly warning instead of a ticket!!
