I suffer from uncontrollable bladder and severe constipation for 13 years , afte a car accident and a spinal injury but I could be able to walk again but for the bladder i use catheter and laxatives to cure my constipation sometimes don’t work .. please can u help me i understand now that my issue is related to my pelvic floor muscles but nobody told me that it may be the reason why i am not be able to empty my bladder normally 💔
@@NA-gq1uf if there has been a partial spinal cord injury or injury to the nerves this will impact the messaging system with the bladder. Most often a person will experience retention (can’t empty) or incontinence (can’t hold in). It means the nerves cannot send messages to the muscles involved in urination or defecation and therefore they don’t function the way they used to. And the muscles and bladder cannot message back to the spinal cord and brain about what is happening. In these cases you have to work closely with your medical team to find the best ways to manage this.
