Brian - first, thanks for the great videos. I have this bike and just completed the tail light project - purchased from your site.
I just installed my case covers tonight and ran into an issue. During install, a very small amount of oil leaked out. After install I cleaned it up and did notice anything after running the bike for 5 or 10 minutes. Went on a hour ride and noticed a very small amount of oil after the ride.
Can you recommend what I can check please? I don't believe I disturbed the covers or seals at all during install, and have checked the bolts, they are tight to 8lbs.

This is one of the reasons ive been hesitant to actually install these on my L5 750. Yoshimura case savers have been known to do the same thing. I believe they issued some sort of recommendation for how to fix it. I would contact vortex and see what they say. If you don't get anywhere, try looking around for the yoshimura fix and post back.
What is the torque specs for this install?
