      Came here to say these two things! It felt like they edited the intro with the standard ‘louder than it should be’ music and the quick jumps from L.A. Noire gameplay to Chris and back, then just forgot to change it for the balance of the video. Felt like one long intro.

      I heard the game was extremely hard to make. I love this game. But I hated how it ended and the direction they went with Cole. It really went against his character having an affair.

    Would love to c a remaster, followed by a sequel tbh. The game is such an underrated gem. 💯

      To add onto Derricks comment these LA Noire remasters are also on xbox and playstation. It includes all dlc and updated stuff too.

      Top 5 game of all time for me. Replayed it after years and its still amazing as a pure detective role playing game in a specific timeline that no game can match

    Excellent video, and Great evaluation of the realistic aspects of the game. including the then vs now differences and similarities.
    Also, nice plug for James Ellroy. His LA series of books is exactly the same feel as this game.

      They won't. The developer that made the game - Team Bondi - shut down a couple years after the game came out. Turns out they had really poor working conditions and there were allegations of employee abuse so Rockstar parted ways with them and afterwards they couldn't find a buyer and went bust. It's why, if you play the L.A. Noire re-release, Rockstar removed all mention of Team Bondi from the credits. Which is pretty messed up considering Rockstar didn't make the game

      You should play Murdered: Soul Suspect. You are a ghost figuring out your own death and helping other ghosts while you are at it.
      But yeah, wish there was L.A. Noire 2 but fortunately we do have many other detective games to play.

    With the rise of AI like ChatGPT and Nvidia Ace even being integrated in videogames, I really hope to see a police investigation game where you could dynamically interact with NPCs that would be powered by ChatGPT or similar through voice or text chat during interrogations.

      Check out the early access Shadows of Doubt. Procedurally generated and very granular in nature, you could hunt down and chance upon the criminal in the most unexpected of mundane locations during their normal routines.
