This is something you learn in L4d years ago. If you're the one guy that didn't drop down with everyone else, your butt is getting jumped and your team isn't going to be able to save you.
-The single best piece of advice that can be given IMO is this, and funny enough I am pretty sure Janoti said the same thing to us during our C3 runs: "Whatever you do, do it together and have a plan. Communication is key and we are a team" -The mentality I have a lot when playing Versus is that it's only a matter of time before the Specials finally take you down so keeping a good pace, not lingering around or progressing to the next area of the map will be the best way to give specials fewer opportunities to end your run -Great vod btw :D
Only case to rush ahead is if you see your team in an unwinnable spot and you need to squeak out some poinrs. I've played in some horrible teams that go down early, and as handmaiden or zealot my best bet is to rush ahead to earn a last few points
I would HIGHLY recommend trying Zealot. With his two movement speed talents, he can get farther from his team safely while still being able to go back for the save. Throw in Feel Nothing, and you've got a dude who can be unkillable for an absurdly long time. He's also got Billhook, which invalidates disablers if you can aim the weapon special to pick them out. I have managed to stunlock 2 hookrats at once with it, it's absurd. He also has the best ranged weapon for killing ratlings, the Brace of Pistols. It does not suffer from the aim penalty everything else does when ratlings shoot you. He also does a TON of damage with his 25% power buff, and if you've got a Merc/Unchained on the team, you have endless survivability. Zealot is ridiculous.
It's really tough keeping pace with new players unfortunately because most don't really know what to do and then you're either helping them and dying quickly or just abandoning them and doing everything yourself like what i did on my latest vid. I would say make matchmaking reliant on rank but problem with that is you won't find matches if you're really new or really high ranked so not sure how they can solve this problem :/
You just can't really have a skill gap in a 4v4 w/ no respawns. Like I don't feel like I get any practice really cause I just die immediately and spectate. Needs a more forgiving casual gamemode for shitties to practice on and close the skill gap up.
@@jingbadatti9956 oh. Well in the case of Versus mode, then yeah it's more understandable 😉 But outside of that, in Darktide/Vermintide 2 I try my damnest to save all the freshies. It's peak Ogryn for me. But it's your playstyle and mentality, bro😎
i'll be honest, this did not help at all. i have 2000 hours in vermintide and keep getting rek't in versus, and the first thing i realized is that the maps are incredibly different, and the mechanics feel bad, not to mention sniping is basically worthless due to lag. i feel like my time and muscle memory in the base game is totally worthless, and everything needs to be relearned. i thought this video would discuss what's different, like waystalker's ult not killing *anything*, dodging packrats is basically impossible since they don't windup, hordes are virtually non-existent, and just general differences.
Absolutely dont agree with HM. Stacking atack speed is way to go, because you become insane special sniper with 45% atack speed and reload speed on your Javelin. 50+ special kills ez
why bother learning that mode. it's imbalanced and extremely unfun. if you face a stack of 3 or 4 premades you might as well just all leave after the first round (and many people do)
Most of the meta does not require dlc. Only outcast engineer is meta and dlc really. Players can outplay stuff like warrior priest and grail knight along with SotT and necromancer.
@@zombieminecraft4213 yeah, nah, stuff that is fun or op is behind dlc. it is what it is. let it be better animation times or crit or cleave. stuf is behind paywall
@@coslorem6943 You're just being pessimistic to be pessimistic. Sure, there are some things locked behind paywall or dlc, that's true, but that doesn't suddenly make all the other classes terrible in Versus. I would argue THE single best class in the entirety of versus is Waystalker, which is her default lvl 1 class.
6. For the love of Sigmar, DROP TOGETHER
What if I'm taking in the view before I drop? 😢
@@ibeyoutubin2 Acceptable but only if you do a pose to appear as majestically staring off into the distance :D

The great wisdom of Janoti persists
Telling people not to be toxic is like telling the Pope not to shit in the woods.
Number one tip for rats. BE A RAT. Be as scummy and cruel as you can be. Yes yes. Corner-Corners are the friends of rat mans
It's criminal that you're not a much bigger channel, the videos are so well made
Packmasters watching heroes going backwards alone to save an idiot teammate
Ngl double hook is satisfying.
Pack masters sitting on a roof where it's impossible to save who they grab
HOLY SHIT I'm new to the game and this is basically the first and only up to date video on the game at all with good quality

getting those poses worth it :)

Absolutely :D
Great advice!
Still here as a ps4 player just cause this content is so good. Sadly we don't have vs.

That Rat has a Flamethrower!
We’re back boys!
Hi bro, i am new player. I like game, but IDK how calculate breakpoints if i make own build. Is there any up-to-date breakpoints calculator?
FUCK YEAH ANOTHER WARMGUN VIDEO
*me watching this video when i play in OCE servers and have been queued by the same 10 people in versus*: "interesting..."
Your voice is very buttery, I like it a lot, very comforting and soothing.
Got cooked in Versus, checks youtube......
The GOAT literally uploaded this like 3 hours ago at the time of writing this comment.
I kneel....
No, i rock and stone at Versus *BURB* sry had a drink of cola zero

Cuz I'm not following meta standards. And the game have a lot of those behind some (cheap) DLC weapons and classes. Like your Engineer thumbnail.
