I hate those shits, I tried to beat them by summoning D, but it only served to give the Gargoyles more life, in the end I had to do it alone and when I finally killed them I felt like I had just shitted the hardest shit of my life and it was a great relief... You know what good came out of that? that after killing them I felt confident to face the Gargoyle that guarded the Sanctuary of the Beast and I was finally able to kill that daughter of her mother as well.
Imagine Elden ring bosses, but with dark souls clunkiness
As a fat rolling knight, this fight was kind of hard for me. Then again, sunbro helped me out so much, and I finally beat them after a few hours of trial and error!
Damn it took me two tries i was scared at first cuz people said it was hard but all i did was block rip the first guys tail off and kill him before the second health bar appears then the second one was easy
Idk why people bother rolling in this fight blocking is the way to go
honestly, i never played the first,i played the the 3rd, mastered the bosses but i get destroyed by the gargoyles. Damn i miss how much faster the player moves in ds3.

To be honest, half of the difficulty of DS1 comes from your character's super slow ass.
This is that kind of boss that is easy and hell hard at the same time. Isolated, these guys are easy shit, but in a duo, they are a nightmare. I always get stuck because and only because of the fire (cause their attacks are kinda slow).

Did anyone else struggle greatly with this boss I just beat dark souls 3 and bloodborne without too much trouble but this boss took me 3 hours to beat

Is it just me, but when the boss jumps off the tower and lands on the roof, it doesn’t create a shockwave that sends bricks flying everywhere, it looks kinda lame here while a bit more intimidating in the original version
My best tip for this fight is to play not locked on, like they do in the video
Arguably, my greatest gaming feat *yet* is having beaten this boss on my first try (with a long preparation beforehand and having read up on its moves beforehand though.)
After getting whooped a million times I realised that locking in on these is a very bad idea and better to attack them just running Wild

Props for actually fighting them like a normal player on a first playthrough would. So many videos that have +5 weapons with lightning buff that just melt the first gargoyle

So basically if i have a knight slow and with a lot of health i'll never beat them? Because my knight roll super slowly...
If you want to commit to a heavy armor build it can work in this game, you'll need a shield and good stamina management though

I've had this game since like, September of last year and been stuck on this fight since February. I have other games to play so I just played those for the following months. But today, I managed to muster up the courage to demolish them on the first try. Although it wasn't easy. Just dodge into the Gargoyle to avoid it's halberd attacks and even if you get tempted to take a random shot at one, don't because the other will come right for you. Simply run around and wait until they are both in the recoveries of their attacks, then counter.

you say it bro, those guys are hard to dodge :))) but in fairness, thats also because of that adaptability stat, ruins the whole experience, you need 30-35 adaptability just to roll normaly …

For some reason this boss fight always stuck out from the rest for me.
The first time I played this game, this was where I stopped. I had never played any SoulsBorne game, and after 10 or so times of trying, i gave up. Told myself "this game is overrated" "the game is just to clunky" "I know im good, just not good at Souls, and thats okay"
It was most definitely not okay. When I came back my second time, I made it Quelaag and same thing. I quit.
Then it finally clicked with me. I decided fuck Pyromancie or whatever bullshit starting class the Internet is claiming to be the "best" starting class. I was gonna do it my way. As a Dexterity build. I loved quick weapons. And what did I discover on my first Playthrough ON ACCIDENT?!?! if you kill the Undead Merchant, he drops the Uchigatana. A menace was made that day, boys. I used to think Nintendo and Valve made the best games I'd ever play. I was wrong.
If you're watching this and have never completed the masterpiece that is Dark Souls or any Souls games for that matter, then all I can say to you is Goodbye Then. Be Safe, Friend. Don't you Dare go Hollow.

Use the Zweihänder, it’s easy to get early game and it’s really strong. Like I killed this boss in 10 ish hits. Good luck for anyone else who’s going through this fight.

I played ds after ds3 and elden ring, and found this way harder than twin princes, but we're used to playing fast soulsborne games so this is probably a lot easier

It clearly has improved multiplayer aspects but I dont give too shits about multiplayer in Dark Souls and in terms of PVE I just dont know....

well, if you don't care about the multiplayer, then you don't need to worry about the hackers. after all, in dark souls 1 the only real reason to turn human is to play online, so as long as you don't, you can't get invaded. then again, is one of the big reasons to buy the remastered.
in my opinion, if you have it on the computer...just instal dsfix instead of buying the new one. if you have it on console...then it could be worth it to play without framerate drops. also, Lost Izalith isn't as painful to look at in the remastered...so there's that XD

@@cjham5272 there’s a shortcut from fire link shrine to the chapel through an elevator in the main chapel room, it makes it much easier to run up to the top

If you still haven't killed them, use the gold pine resin and heavy weapon in conjunction. As soon as the second gets in close, switch to either a spear or a halberd to be to poke more easily from a distance. If they fly, roll to the side a couple times and never go for more than 3 hits.

Just summon Solaire and Lurtrec or use sorcery/pyromancy if you are a casters

@@MrL-hk5ks I just did last night. I decided to take a detour to the catacombs and got the gravelord sword and basically got somewhat OP. I came back and killed the gargoyles in a few hits. At the same level too. I even killed the pinwheel boss on my first attempt. Not that hard of a boss tbh.
