Black mouthed dogfish are a deep water species- off the UK they are usually in 500m of water, but further north are in shallower water. Same as lantern shark and chimaera which you also get in Norway.
Ciao Wayne, yes, Phil Dale's pier, I was there in 2021, but Phil was gone. I fished from that mark and that day there were only mackerel. Anyway, nice video, thanks for the memories, bye Wayne from grandfather Paolo from Italy
What a brilliant video.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dad♥️ loved Norway. I can see why.😲 With such beautiful scenery,🏞️ skies to die for🌠🌌 and peace and tranquillity.😔🙂 Now THAT'S totally awesome fishing.🎣👏 Respect to you for sharing.🫡🫡 Thank you so much.👍👍 Can't wait for the aurora borealis video.🫣🫣 And good luck on your next trip.🤞🤞 Take care and stay safe.😷🙊
Such a great series of videos Wayne! Thanks very much I'm truly inspired! Definitely something I'd love to do, the haddock and cod fishing the other day looked ace! All the best for the rest of your trip💚💚
I thought you were away from dogfish in Norway! nice. now do a ray also!😁 Its fairly rare to catch sharks from shore to my knowledge as i have been fishing for +50 years and never seen neither shark or ray from shore. (grew up inland norway, but we did go to the coast a couple of times annually, but further south) Nice catch(and video) man👍
Enjoyed the video as always Wayne looking. Forward to the next one …. Just a quick one do you know how thick the tip and butt sections are on the blaze mxiv 🎣🎣
Stunning Northern lights
Brilliant video again. This trip has been a great watch. 🎉
Thank you

Thanks buddy
Used to catch black mouth dogfish in the Clyde back in the 70s 80s
Nice one Wayne. A ghost shark would have been a nice catch, not big but an unusual fish.
I was trying
Skarsundnet bridge I think. Been looking forward to these vids mate👍
Yes buddy. That's the one
I am new to this channel. Subbed. Great video! Great channel. Best of luck and looking forward to the next video. Tight lines dude
Thank you again buddy
I fished there on that breakwater and the other side of that bridge in June and the fishing was very poor it's definitely a winter venue
It's not fished that well for ages. I will try again in January
@@TheShoreHunter we had nice cod to 14 pounds and halibut to 18 fishing in the open sea the following week 😀
Complimenti 👍👍👍👍

Hi buddy I am using the Blaze MXIV 🔥
Silly question Wayne but what are the trousers and boots you are wearing? Getting cold down here on the big chesil beach ⛱️
Yes mate. They are reed bottoms with studded boots
Enjoyed the video as always Wayne looking. Forward to the next one …. Just a quick one do you know how thick the tip and butt sections are on the blaze mxiv 🎣🎣
Hi buddy I don't, I am sure it says online.
Where’s the fish from the thumbnail?
