I’m so proud of Dave Roberts - I went to elementary school in the shadow of UCLA, was always a fan, and went there for grad school. But…my daughter took dance classes at the old Colburn location, with performances at Bovard auditoria, and I spent a lot of Saturdays on the USC campus, so I’m very fond of that school, too. All that to say, GO DODGERS!!!
I was. He was a very good baseball player with the Giants, Padres and I think he played with the Dodgers too, as well as other team's. And his play was key, as he helped the Boston Red Sox win a World Series with his cleaver base running skills.
@@vision-gc4hy I grew up in L.A. and left at the age of 22, which was over 50 years ago. When I was there you could not be for both UCLA and USC. For various reasons I cheer for UCLA and ANY team that happens to be playing USC.
@ Every single human I knew in Los Angeles had a preference for USC Football and UCLA Basketball. We liked all the teams but Los Angeles roots for USC Football and UCLA basketball to this day. Unless you attend one of the schools which most people do not.
@@DodgerBlue1958 The Basketball team that represents Los Angeles on the national stage is UCLA. They've won 11 National Championships. USC Basketball has zero titles. USC Football has won 11 National Championships to UCLA's 1 (in 1954) and therefore represents Los Angeles on the national stage.

If you're born and raised in Los Angeles, you like both colleges.
