I have A1 hotend in ender3-clone with Orbiter 2 😁 It's OK, heats up stupidly fast (I guess _all_ PTC heaters do 🤔) but automatic Z-offset would help after nozzle changes 😉 The printer also has klipper (same BTT board) and POM wheels, but changing motion mechanics to anything better is just throwing good money after bad money 🙃
Right on time man, as I was just shopping around for BTT parts for upgrading my Vyper to Klipper. Unfortunately since you don't deliver to my country (Non-EU), which is too bad since you have a lot of products and parts that I can't get from elsewhere. I'm getting my parts from 3DPrima from Sweden (they exclude VAT, so I only need to pay for shipping), even though you are closer to me.
@@3DJake_Official North Macedonia, if you add support for shipping to my country by the end of the stream I'll order a Bambu Lab P1S with a bunch of BIQU upgrades for it and a full Stealth burner conversion kit for my Anycubic Vyper plus some additional minor tools and nozzles for it. I'm currently filling up my cart on the other site.
@@madbuldog we will not be able to do it this fast but for the future this makes totally sense. I will check that with our delivery team! 🙂 Thanks for feedback and enjoy the video!
@@3DJake_Official Your videos are always enjoyable, and in the past (for the last 3 years) I always used your site to reference printer prices and compared them with my local offerings when ever I was looking to get new equipment, both for FDM and Resin printers. Local offerings are absolutely not worth it as they usually sell older printers with 100% markup, and it will cost me only shipping + 26% for customs and local VAT to import a 3D printer from abroad.
As i have built almost my whole life my computers, i always wondered why doesn´t anyone build a 3D printer for them self. I mean those who are used to build something with their own hands. You don´t need to make the circuit boards, motors, hotends, beds anyway. They are ready made. And it´s funny that no matter what printer review you watch, they are all always good and best. But when you buy one or read peoples comment when they have used them for a while, they have problems. Like me. I bought an Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo and had it for couple weeks now. I have printed 5 times and the 5th time after autoleveling, i got a " red screen of death " saying something about temperature and please reset. I then read that this printer has that problem and i hadn´t read that before i bought it. The error has something to do with poor connection somewhere. My printer works anyway after that error but for how long? And the vendors who sell these faulty printers, they don´t tell it to the customers. Instead they sell them cheaper.
I'm planning to build a 3D printer by myself and your video series helps me a lot.
OMG, Building my first DIY printer from scratch, the klipper set up is a life saver!!
