Dumping Nikon for Sony?

Something different this time. Just little old me sitting in my comfy chair telling you lucky people all about my camera gear, and discussing pros and cons of possibly selling my Nikon camera & lenses and going for Sony instead.
So far a bit of a mix of things going on with this channel! Maybe next I'll do a video of how to milk cows, or I could do a study of why women consider me so incredibly handsome. That wouldn't take long to put together.
I think it might not be clear while watching, but even if I was yapping about a different camera at the time, ALL the clips featured in this were taken by me using my Nikon Z6ii at 4K 30fps, using an 8-bit log profile called Beatlog-II (many thanks to the DPreview forum member for all the amazingly helpful information freely provided to fellow videographers!) and graded by me using DaVinci Resolve V17/18 Studio edition.

Ultimately for what makes you happy, though with the z6iii rumored to come out this year if they put the expeed 7 in it like the z9 the autofocus might get you there plus they are changing the sensor as they have said they won't be doing 24.5 sensors moving forward. If you aren't convinced as more news comes to hand try renting the Sony first make sure the grass is greener and that way it's based on experience not a quick hold in a shop.

Thanks for you comments. I think you're right that I need to wait to see what Nikon comes out with next. I'm not sure more processor power will solve the AF issues but I guess the Z9 seems to be working well for people, so maybe? The more I read about the alternative (Sony A7IV) the more I think I'd regret selling up. Thanks for the advice.
