A note regarding the use of a drone and filming over residential areas, as some of you may understandably be uncomfortable with this. The drone used for all footage was a DJI Mini 3 Pro. In all cases I flew within the laws specified by the CAA airspace regulatory authority and in accordance with the Model Aircraft Article 16 authorisation. I have a current membership to FPV-UK plus a Drone Operator ID and Flyer ID. All flights adhered to safety guidelines and VLOS, and within all rules applicable to a sub-250g unmanned aircraft. This includes being legally able to fly over buildings and other structures and unintentional flight over individual people who are not part of a large gathering. No FTZ (Flight Restriction Zone) was in operation at the time in the areas of flight. I also use common sense and high moral standards regardless of what the law allows. This means I shall not intentionally fly low over buildings, particularly houses or their property such as gardens. I keep as high as I can and also do not point the camera downwards when over private fenced property such as a private garden.

.loved watching your video Geoff. I used to live for a short time behind the field you cut thought walking to the church. My playground when young. I used to be drawn to lyminster church and spent many hours gazing at the stained glass windows and such. Thanks for sharing. Take care

Thank you Lisa. Oh that's great that you lived there for a while. I wish I could have gone into the church to look at the windows and other stuff, but it was closed. I couldn't make out much detail from the exterior of the windows. When I went back to get some more footage there were people in the church, but it seemed like a private thing and I didn't want to intrude! Glad you liked the video, thanks for commenting.

All that history, just a stone's throw from me. Fantastic and interesting video.
My wife has asked if you could do Rustington one day please. She's lived there all her life.

I find that the more I look in local towns and villages, the more history I find. It's amazing just how much there is to learn about places, which is why I love doing it. I do have a video giving an overview of Rustington. I did intend to do more detailed ones, but haven't got around to it yet. If you look through my videos you'll find the Rustington one if you haven't already. Thanks for the comment, glad you liked the video.

Hello Geoff. You can walk to Poling from Littlehampton through the Rustington Golf centre. I walk it on a regular basis as its easy and you can get there and back in a couple of hours. A nice walk through fields and over bridges. The grave of Lord Colin Cowdrey (England Cricketer) is here. Let me know if you need any advice for your next video. Well done.. Chris

Hi Chris. I suspected there would be other routes to Poling but I haven't managed to work them out yet. Thanks so much for that, I'll check the footpath route on a map, it sounds perfect for me. I have walked near to the golf centre so have an idea of where the route starts. I have walked from Angmering to Poling so possibly partly the same route, but my sense of direction gets very confused around there so I'm honestly not too sure! Thanks again.
