As an IT guy, technology is part of my job. Technology is bringing many good things, like making the world a smaller place through telecommunications and travels. Progress in technology speeds up globalization. One effect of globalization I am concerned with is the disappearance of cultural identity. So many things "of the past" disappear in the name of progress and modernization. Cultural identity is becoming a tourist attraction. I wish I had today's technology back in the old days to record and share what I had the chance to witness and which is now no more. Advance in technology brought us 4K cameras and drones.
