Long story short, ever since last year I’ve had a strange feeling in my chest, shortness of breath and tingling hands. There have been 2 times in the last year where I thought I was having a heart attack and 1 of them was when I was driving. It scared the shit out of me. Went to the doctor and my EKG was good, but my blood tests say I have high cholesterol and low vitamin D. My doctor thinks this might be due to anxiety and depression (I don’t think I’m depressed) so I just got prescribed Wellbutrin and this comment section is making me nervous.
4th day. One of the worst panic attacks I’ve had in a long time. Alprazolam is starting to kick in so hopefully this goes away. I’ve had panic attacks for 10 years, so I can handle this (I’d rather not, but I can). This always happens when taking a new antidepressant so I guess we’ll see what happens

Just an update for anyone reading this. I ended up stopping these pills after about 2 months. My anxiety was sooooo bad. The simplest things would spike my anxiety and throw me into flight mode wanting to get the heck out if where ever I was. Had quite a few panic attacks and was constantly on edge about everything. Sooo how are u doing on wellbutrin now?
Im on day 6 and im having nervousness and anxiety.. Bad dreams last night
Still doing very well I would say. Im back down to 150mg for the summer months but will begin to increase against on September first. It definitely helped to be on 450mg during the winter time.
I think if I recall correctly, the anxiety and nervousness went away after about 2 to 3 weeks. Got better gradually
On day seven now. Anyone else see your bloodpressure go up as well?
I read that it's a possible side effect. I'm starting Wellbutrin today. Did your blood pressure go down eventually?
@@ES-qu1jd - I can’t really answer that. Lol
After 3 weeks of the Bupropion my Dr put me back on Adderall.
After, 3 weeks of that it was determined that the Bupropion was actually doing a better job sooooo I started again on it 6 days ago.
My blood pressure is a little higher than normal (129/77)
BUT still lower than the Adderall (134/83).
I’m not worrying anymore about it.
@@samuelm.5752 Yeah, I'm not sleeping well. Light sleep and I wake up too soon. I was already having a problem with insomnia before starting the meds. The first few hours of each day after taking the meds I'm wired. My brain is just racing and I've already got that problem without the meds. But after a few hours I'm ok.
Anyone can't sleep or not getting a deep sleep?
Honeymoon period so common in the first week
Arm twitching, some tingling and small shakes in arms and hands, especially after working out or been doing a lot with my arms .
Anyone have anything similar . 100 sr 1 daily
I have twitching and tingling in my left arm (I also have a damaged shoulder) and it feels more intense while on wellbutrin sr 150mg
I say tingling...but I think it might be a heightened awareness of the discomfort in my shoulder....idk. my anxiety is through the roof.
If ur experiencing depression in the winter it’s usually just a lack of vitamin d
He has bipolar disorder
Any update are you still on it? I just started it
Yep I made one month and 2 month update videos. Eventually made it to 450mg but started to experience signs of mania so decreased back down to 300mg. Seems to be working well now. Especially with the physical symptoms of depression.
@@DrugTalk thanks for the update! I spent years on SSRI meds and they all made me tired... Wellbutrin has helped with more energy and motivation! Wish you the best on it!
❤Good for seasonal depression ❤

You say rapid heart rate like it’s okay to deal with 😬
Have you noticed any effect on your libido ?
Nope. All good!
This sounds like the worst medication ever created. Anxiety and depression meds. You take them and they make your problems extreme. Seems counterintuitive…
