To anyone who is buying this, be warned. You need to take your time while installing the keyboard area!!!! Easily the most difficult installation part! I have installed 3 dbrand skins now including this one for my razer blade 15 base 2019 and i can without a doubt say that the keyboard area has been the hardest part ever for me!
its not impossible! you just need to have extra extra patience!
Hello Genaro, I wonder which skin did you use on your blade, 2019 Advanced with No Ethernet RTX or 2018 Base with Ethernet GTX? Mine is 15 mid-2019 base model and I only want the lid cover.

Half of the pieces came out for me while slowly and gently removing it from the 3M backing. Better advice: skip the palm rest entirely. It's extremely hard to apply without fucking it up and will look like shit if you do. I ended up binning mine because it was impossible to apply it properly through no fault of my own.
Are the edges at the bottom able to stick properly? I order twice and both times the 4 corners at the bottom don't curl properly.

My trackpad isn't working anymore the instructions were unclear
Late 2019 Razer 13 here. I peeled one of the corner back on on the bottom and used heated gun but still ended with a tiny crease. I tried the three other corner without peeling it back(they're not attached yet from following the video) and they turned out good. Overall, I'm very satisified with top, bottom, palmrest, and trackpad. My car roof wrap on the other hand turned out like crap with creases everywhere. LOL
I've followed the steps and it works! It'll need to be a little accurate and you're done. Razer Blade 15 2021. Especially the keypad it's different and easier! Ty Dbrand!

The palm rest skin doesn't come out with the cutouts!! The cut outs stay stuck onto the sheet no matter how slowly you remove the layer.

I had to make an excision from the palm rest sheet out of the very thin strip below the touchpad since it became too stretched to flatten properly. Luckily it was dragon skin so the cut isn't noticeable. Also fuzz tends to get stuck around the edges of the wrap. Not a fun installation.
No way to apply this perfectly unless you have the steady hands of a god, I guess I wasted my money on this

I just got mine in the mail, I regret my purchase.
I must be a god then (with a hair dryer). I just applied it to my Razer Blade Pro 17 and it looks perfect. I bought the MKBHD triple black edition, which comes with the top, bottom and trackpad skins.
The great thing is you can re-apply it as many times as you want simply by using a hair dryer.

This instructions is horrible. The instructions clear as trump explaining how he wanted to build the wall.
For example you can't move the white sheet upward is they instruct. You can take it off then reapply to the white sheet, however you can't do it on keyboard layout because every thing will disconnect when you try to remove the white sheet.
Add to that the skin can stretch easily and now you have a wider skin like grumpy old man face.

I fucked the shit out of my first time putting on the back. This time I took it really slow. I'd recommend linking up the first grill as best as you possible can and then it should all fall into place.
I ran into a situation where a small spec of debre got under but at this point if I try to peel it back and get it out it will not reshape itself once you use heat so I had to leave it their for the sake of my sanity. I managed to get it on perfectly!.

although I'm happy to see you're saving materials and the environment. The palm rest for your Blade 16 doesn't match this video. What's going on over there guys? I've never had issues with customer service or directions. This isn't like you guys... but I'm having issues with both. 😕… Skin did go on relatively easy. Corners are an issue

The trackpad cannot be scratched by any razorblade.. Its some form of crazy glass that doesn't scratch until a level (quartz?) 6-7 scratch test.

Honestly on a Blade 16 for the bottom panel there's no way, hair dryer or not that you can apply it correctly in the corners... I've tried everything just as described in the video, there are always part in the corners that don't fit well... and I was very cautious, I took my time...
As for the palm rest, it was too large I could feel the borders on both sides :/

Warning to those with the optical keyboard, the keyboard area WILL NOT be the right one. I just spent 2 hours trying to stretch and get it to fit. Save yourself the hassle and don’t get that part. Or the trackpad (it’s shit)

Anyone know if it's possible to completely hide the Razer logo? I don't want it, but I don't the back to look ugly either.
You can purchase a skin for the top without a cut out for the logo. Make sure you select that option when choosing the skin you want.

That's a good question... Id imagine it wont or they wouldn't still be around. But.... maybe after many years of heavy use it probably would. But lets be honest... not many of us keep laptops for more than 3-5 years. Some cars/trucks use 3m tape/glue for certain things and mine only starting failing after 15 years of being in the scorching hot sun. So I just replaced them.

Has anyone tried these on the 2019 razer blade stealth? I just got mine and want one of these skins but don't know if I should bother with the skin for the wrist rest and trackpad skin. Are the worth it? Does it effect the track pads usability?

Less than half a millimetre my fucking ass. I've got it at about .2mm on the top, .25mm on the left, .1mm on the right, and a whopping 1.5 to 2mm on the bottom. Lining this thing up with equal spacing is practically impossible and the instructions are straight up wrong. Hey, how about instead of saying "less than half a millimetre", you give the exact numbers? Disappointed. Won't be buying from dbrand again.

If you had followed the instructions and stuck on one corner first, that was your opportunity to USE YOUR EYES to check the alignment. Also, 0.2mm much less than "less than half a millimetre", which is 0.5mm by the way... 0.2mm is more like "less than a quarter of a millimetre"... Looks like someone had a math fail lol. 😂
