It continues to amaze how you can still be in the intro of a game like halfway through the video, and somehow cover the rest of the game in the remaining time without it feeling rushed. I think you've really nailed pacing.
I think it helps that a lot of new stuff needing to be explained happens early on the game and only need to do minor additions for the last half

Hey I dunno if this would work with the fortune teller, but the 3ds version lets you use the strobulb from dark moon instead of the flashlight to catch ghosts if you prefer. It's way worse and the controls are worse, but the strobulb by definition, is not the flashlight...
What in the world I had no idea they added that in the remake that’s kinda neat.
You can activate Clairvoya's crystal ball by aiming at it in scan-mode, so the actual minimum is 14 flashlight uses total
I just tested this and it doesn’t seem to be the case if you’re holding B the whole time. I think aiming the camera at it just points your flashlight at it, unless you’re doing something special.

I happened here in a mini-binge of "can you beat _ without _" videos that led me here, and thoroughly enjoyed this short but sweet special. Love your use of PVZ music and even though it makes the challenge, not much of a challenge. It's still really cool to see such a glitch used to bridge the gap into avoiding nearly any more flashes.
That being said how dare you close the video with Mari's theme I didn't plan on shedding a tear to start my day but HERE WE ARE

This was fantastic. I love how the vast majority of these challenges are just "okay HOW do we make it through the first area" and then you just breeze on by.
I’m the dude who originally found the out of bounds glitch like, idk around ten years ago when I was one of the only ones speed-running this game. However, it was others that saw my video (posted on another channel) of the glitch that discovered how to tilt Luigi and eventually be able to skip to the game! It’s honestly a good but also weird feeling to see people take your discovery to beat the game in less than 10 minutes, and also create content like this.

Fun fact, time being a Human invention was the original basis for Halloween. Samhain as it was known was the Celtic New Year, and as the night between two years it wasn't part of the Mortal year & therefore not subject to Mortal laws, resulting in the night the Dead could return.

I've known about the clipping glitch for years, but I never knew the elements can deal damage to normal ghosts, I thought it was only damaging to ghosts weak to it

FR this I absolutely LOVE this content. It's the same reason I love watching Bismuth's videos, but you add a lot more personality to it as opposed to explanations which are equally alluring. FR everytime I'm like Shiny Hunting in Pokemon or doing the dishes or eating, some long menial task that doesn't require much attention, I turn on either the DK64 TAS Speedrun explained, SM64 TAS Speedrun explained, or any of your Kirby vids, seriously they're all fuckin' mastahpieces.
