Watching the good folk at S.A.S.H. caring for little Kilo I was gripped by the same emotions that swept over me during my career as an RN in a cardiopulmonary ICU. You live for the ones you can save. They sustain you during hard times when you cannot help them to live.
It's a spitz (Japanese spitz). I have a chihuahua spitz mix and they are absolutely amazing, intelligent, high energy but quiet dogs and have such a desire to please so they excel at obedience and trick training, ours even does herding, (not sheep but his best dog friend who likes to run off too far he can herd her back on command - you can't make this stuff up! He nips her on the scruff and pulls her back or herds her by body blocking her, it's quite a sight to see.)
Thank you so much for all the care and undying efforts you do to help the local wildlife and especially the earnest, snuggly koalas. My heart hurts for Australia during this devastating time, and I am praying daily for you all!
Hearing the koala crying really got to me you could tell she was in some much pain and I just wanted to hug her 🥺. Thank you Dr. Chris for sharing your content I enjoy it very much!
Koalas may not be the smartest animals in the thinky-thinky department, but that doesn't mean they lack emotion, pain is universal, and so is the stress related to the loss of babies. I can only feel sadness when I see the poor things in distress, might have something to do with their cry, which is quite expressive. I mean, I certainly know what the sound of distressed cats does to me.

Tim denies that Meg trusts him, but he's just being modest. When you watch enough of this show, you can tell that he is genuinely an amazing person and the animals do trust him ❤️
Poor Meg. My heart breaks hearing her cry in pain. It is awful to hear she has lost her last 2 joeys. But between having Tim and Chris and the whole team to help her. She has the best chances with these amazing people.

This was a bit ago! Chris look exactly the same. Tim looks totally different! He's grown up so much! He looks like he went from 16 to 30 in two years. Makes me smile.
I was listening to a beautiful song that i heard long ago feeling the pain of all the suffering of Australias wild life and the people who are trying to save the species of all the animals out there listen to biff naked the lucky ones and look in the eyes of the wild animals and get the true love i am so glad for this program
The bearded dragon’s owner not knowing the gender reminds me of a friend. He had his beaded dragon for YEARS and thought it was a he and called it Bob. Then in about the fifth grade, he comes in and goes, “Bob is actually a female. Her name is now Zoe.” They didn’t know so they just assumed, and Bob was a girl the whole time. 😂😂
I had gastroenteritis. I didn't eat for two weeks and I was so dehydrated I just wanted to sleep and it felt like my mouth was sealed shut. I passed out in Wal-Mart and I really thought I was gonna die but I had to force myself to at least sway a few bananas a day and drink lots of water. I lost 20lbs in 3 weeks. I was sick for a month and a half. So I know exactly how the poor puppy was feeling.
Seeing so many couples loving and caring for animals and treating them as part of the family restores so much of my faith in humanity. Please spread the love to your children!

I’ve lived Kiko’s treatment not so long ago and I wish my Romy had as much luck as she did😞
