For a dog that needs consistent and routine grooming it is best to start them off as a puppy, around 6 months, with just a bath and some nail trims and so on to desensitize them because it can be an overwhelming event. Bam Bam probably wasn't desensitized properly or had a traumatic grooming experience which can happen. It's sad because grooming for dogs is mostly about quality of life compared to just looking pretty.

He just designs something...or inquires from us in the US if we have anything that would work for whatever his patient's need is.
I had a rescue like this. All you can do is keep everyone safe, I muzzled my baby in the car for the staff and always held his front end for them . I too lucked out and had a vet who was so kind even when I was an anxious ball of nerves every time I took him because I was terrified he'd bite someone yet at home he was basically my personal support worker for anxiety and the best cuddler
Vets like these that risk serious injury but continue to treat aggressive pets are worth their weight in gold. It can be dangerous to muzzle dogs like Claude with brachycephalic (pushed in) faces so the fact that they're willing to think outside the box to ensure he receives the care he needs just goes to show how dedicated this team is to their patients.

Taking on such a traumatised dog is a really noble thing to do. And having a vet that understands and won’t turn you away because you’re dog is so aggressive must be a huge help. Hope Bam Bam continued to live a happy life. Don’t know how old this episode actually was
Dougal was likely so upset at the start because he was in pain from the snake bite. Animals often get aggressive when they’re in pain, so seeing his personality completely switch after he had some meds and rest makes sense

The way animals behave is never for nothing, there will be always reasons to their behaviour- we humans just don't always get to know exactly what those reasons are but Bravo to those who still love and care enough to treat difficult animals, such credit is owed to them...

Bam Bam's mom needs to have someone else bring him into the Vet. HER anxiety is probably the majority of HIS anxiety and it's just making everything worse when she reacts as strongly as she does. Whoever did whatever they did to that poor Bam Bam to create such a response aught to be keelhauled. Scott always understands the growls or hisses are just sheer fear, not aggression for no reason.
Lots of pets go from angels at home to aggressive fear messes at the vets or groomers..being away from home and with strangers is so stressful for them especially when things they don’t like are being done to them. No one had to do anything to get a dog to react like that at a vet office but someone could of, if it’s not stated some incident happened it’s just natural fear responses
I adoptes a homless long haired cat around 10y ago. She REFUSED to let anyone do any grooming. I had to take her to the vet & sedate her to even brush her.. but now she will protest & tell me she dosen't like it bur she let's me do anything now. She learned along the way that i was only trying to help. And she trust me fully now. And I don't look like i was attacked by a pack of lions afterwards.. Same with my mom, she got a short hair cat that had been severely neglected by her former owner. She was even hit by a car that shattered her hip & the owner did nothing. That cat is now the sweetest girl ever.. The power of love is never to be underestimated
:c i feel so bad for sheena the poor pup is just scared and can get bitey yes but the pups just missunderstood, poor sheena and bam bam deserve all the love sheena sounds like such a sweetheart
Hehe poor Scott… his two dangerous patients. I am extremely happy he is intact. Chris Brown: the level of fear over his face, it did make me laugh and my instinct is wishing he got out of there alive and he did, same thing with the snake. Now the twins: i fear for the girls sometimes but im glad they came out good. I want to pet the Wombat now lol. But im loving this show a lot. Its interesting and different from American shows.
My mom tried to give a haircut to our not even a year old lhasa apso and it traumatized him for life-- I felt so bad-- a few groomers gave him a chance but he was just too anxious, even just at the sound of the clippers, we did what we could for him at home right up to the end, it was just the more humane thing, than putting him through the anxiety of a professional groom. Also, I loved Lisa with Dougal: "Please don't come back," We've all had Those Days, Lisa, I don't think anyone would judge you, xD
Glad the twins were able to help God's animal with his teeth. That he was released to the wild. Glad Lisa, Chris, twins, and Scott were able to think of creative ways to help the animals that needed vet care. God bless them.
The wombat one was a bit amusing just how they react a the noises and it reminds me when me and my sister has to do something we both don't want to do.
I can't help but think that the owners over-dramatic reactions are part if whats driving bambams aggressive behaviour. She's scared for his safety and wellbeing when she takes him to the vet, Bambam picks up on that but thinks that the fear is of the vet, because of danger, not because of Bambam himself.
I love this show, but I’m partial to Dr. Pol mostly because they don’t blur things out. If I’m watching a veterinary show, I know there’s gonna be gross/gory things.

I love the name Sheena. Dr. Scott is so great with his patients and their owners. Just love Dr. Scott and Emma. ❤
Poor Scott. I jumped every time he did.
"Please don´t come back" xDDD
Love your channel ❤
23:40 please don’t come back 😂
I adoptes a homless long haired cat around 10y ago.
Dog said don’t touch me and bombastic side eye
Hehe poor Scott… his two dangerous patients. I am extremely happy he is intact. Chris Brown: the level of fear over his face, it did make me laugh and my instinct is wishing he got out of there alive and he did, same thing with the snake. Now the twins: i fear for the girls sometimes but im glad they came out good. I want to pet the Wombat now lol. But im loving this show a lot. Its interesting and different from American shows.
33:36 the roo just chilling on the chair 😂
love this show as im a therian and im grateful twitch something that makes me happiiiii
27:48 Wow, Claude's owner is gorgeous lol
Poor Dougal. It seems he's so loving when he's not at SASH.
Sheena NEEDS to work on her anxiety, bam bam is Definitely picking up on that!
Chris wearing another color shirt? Scott thank you for helping her dog.
Love it please don't come back.
This show is my addiction.
Glad the twins were able to help God's animal with his teeth. That he was released to the wild. Glad Lisa, Chris, twins, and Scott were able to think of creative ways to help the animals that needed vet care. God bless them.
Dougal seems like such a sweet kitty, just zero pain tolerance.
It's So Surprising How Sweet Our Pets Can Be Then Turn Into A Rabid Wild Animal When We Take Them To The Vet
May God be with Bam Bam in feeling better soon and calming down a little 🐕❤️ I Love all your fabulous videos Scott❤️ Thank you for sharing 🌹
The wombat one was a bit amusing just how they react a the noises and it reminds me when me and my sister has to do something we both don't want to do.
Claude….I have one very similar to him. I had to get a muzzle specific to snub nosed dogs so I can work on her. But she is a doll for the vet lol
Amazing vet amen
I can't help but think that the owners over-dramatic reactions are part if whats driving bambams aggressive behaviour.
She's scared for his safety and wellbeing when she takes him to the vet, Bambam picks up on that but thinks that the fear is of the vet, because of danger, not because of Bambam himself.
Some day I want to work with you!😁😁🤗
Boy does Claude need Victoria Stillwell!
Every vet clinic has them. My favorite I've heard of is a cat named Cookie. Aka Cantankerous Cookie
Vets are brave for working with reptiles. I hate reptiles and all of them. I hate spiders too.
I will say that method of sedating the dog was pretty smart.
I hope bam bam is okay
I think most of the anxiety the animals feel is fed by the owners being anxious.
I love this show, but I’m partial to Dr. Pol mostly because they don’t blur things out. If I’m watching a veterinary show, I know there’s gonna be gross/gory things.
I just found this Channel and I love it!
