    Hi. Thank you for sharing this video 😊. I can't seem to find the additional videos for this pattern. Can you please let me know where to look to find the video(s) that comes after this one.
    Thank you!

      @@PurlTogether Thank you ! ❤. I started it yesterday 😊. So far, so good! This is my first time making something using the magic loop and making mitts. I am wondering if these mitts have a 'right & left' mitt or can they be worn on either hand? Thank you again ❤

    Thank you for your tutorial! Does it matter how long the cord is on the needles?

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You'll want a long enough cord that it is relaxes and not stretching between the halves when knitting with the Magic Loop method. And you'll want it to be comfortable for you. I prefer 32" cords for most projects.

    You might want to more carefully emphasize join in the round. I glossed right over that and ended up not doing that because I had listened to another video where it said to seam them at the end so I just assumed it was flat and seemed.

    Where can I find your magic loop joining in the round method? If I click on the link you suggested nothing comes up but the title, thank you for your video, very keen to get started.

    Im knitting this for a child so have cast on 36 stitches, so 6stitch repeat will be 6 times, 18stitches on each needle knitting on magic loop. I hope it works im a little nervous when doing all the increases and knitting the thumb. 60 stitches makes a very large glove.

      @PurlTogether  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      What size yarn are you using? 60 stitches in a light fingering weight isn't so very big ;)

      Yes i think my yarn it too thick but i really like it for these gloves. Thankyou

    Hi Jana, was wondering if you have a video or a pattern suggestion for knitting men’s gloves with fingers... my BIL wants a pair, but he wants gloves, not fingerless mittens! Thanks so much!

      I have not made these, but she is well known designer and the pattern has a good rating.

    I’d like to try to make these with Redheart supersaver acrylic number for weight yarn. Do you have any suggestions on stitch count for the size yarn?

    • @PurlTogether
      @PurlTogether  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really don't. The pattern was designed for fingering weight, so knitting it in worsted would make it pretty bulky maybe? If I were you, I think I'd search Ravelry for mitts that are designed for worsted from the start. If you're determined to use this particular pattern you'd just want to try a multiple of 6 for your cast on, then be prepared to take the time to experiment with it.

      Purl Together thank you for your prompt response. I did ultimately find a video and pattern by Staci of Very Pink Knit for worsted weight mitts. I just really enjoy your teaching style. Thank you for sharing your time and talents.

      Rather then trying to alter this particular pattern, I'd use a pattern written for children. There are a bunch on Ravelry.
