S22 colors are "more vibrant" but also fake. The Pixel 7 colors are more true to life and not falsely saturated. Some people may like the falsely brighter colors, though. Pixel's digital zoom somehow has better focus than the S22's telephoto lens zoom, too. I find the Pixel camera to be better overall, while the S22 outperforms the Pixel in a lot of other areas.
Many people are not vloggers who takes pictures and videos transfer to laptop or video editing apps post process it and upload it to youtube. They just want to take pictures and upload it on insta or socia media platforms so that is why Samsung is more accurate and lovable in terms of picture quality. Yeah some of them finds more realistic picture quality so they go for iphone and pixels.
I own the S22 and I will switch to the Pixel 7. S22 creates some good pictures but at night when I try to shoot the stars it's either noisy or way too bright. The pixel 4a was even better in that.
Lol I'm sorry, but you kept pointing out how amazing the Pixel 7 was in almost every single shot, but then kept making excuses for the S22. In the end you even said the S22 was overall better... WHAT?
The super res zoom algorithm is incredible. The way it guesses the details and finishes the picture at 8x for a more detailed final product than the S22s dedicated 3x lens at 10x is witchcraft. I've tested this quite a bit on the Pixel 7 myself. I am impressed every time in daylight shots.
Good video! Maybe next time include some or really colorful clothes or objects. I have a S22 and thinking of switching to the Pixel 7 because all pictures taken with the S22 are so oversaturated that it seems that the colors fake.
What do you advise me, I am a person who cares about phone photography and phone software the most, which is better, even though I do not care about the screen or the performance
Thanks for the good comparisons as it helped me make a choice for the S22 though I have a slight preference for Pixel cameras and software. Of course, Google's Black Friday deal for the S22 $500 discount was really persuasive.
Great video, bro - it's good to know the pixel 7 selfie cam doesn't do portrait video with blur. Crazy thing is the Samsung S10 series does all of that on all lenses and that phone is from 2019.
Interesting that you say this -- I ran across this video because I have an ancient S8 as my main smartphone, which I bought for the excellent camera (at the time), but was recently given a Pixel 7a as part of a contract deal and intended to switch to the Pixel only to find that the photos just aren't as satisfying. Now I'm looking at picking up an S24 instead, so am trying to find out how the more recent Samsungs stack up against the Pixels. In many areas, older smartphones seem to offer more functionality and better results than the newer ones. It's hard to understand why more people don't talk about it.
Pixel is good but can never be great without manual controls!! Just switched from a beloved Pixel 5 which I traded in for 800$ (!) off the S22 Ultra. I loved my pixel 5 but the video wasn't great, sensor just isn't that strong. My goodness the dynamic range of the S22 Ultra is shocking for a phone. I'm a filmmaker and have shot with a range of professional cameras like Canon 5D, C100, Varicam LT etc. No phone will compete with the big boys but the manual controls give you little excuse for not getting close. Manual focus during video!! With FOCUS PEAKING, I don't think people understand how great of a feature that level of focus assists is. I had a S8 in college and was filming and taking macro photos nonstop because the focus peaking made it so damn easy. Pixel allows manual controls, then we can talk
Hi Sam, you forgot to say that at 4K/60 video, Google Pixel 7 is perfeclty stabilized while the samsung is really shaky. You should do your video tests taking while walking : this is what made me switch from Samsung to Pixel
For me the s22 is better . Being that most of is photos are sharper ,better edge detection, . Colors accurate is always gonna be subjective. An the s22 has more video options
@@Studiotek color accuracy is always temperature either warm or cool it's no different from a cannon Sony or Nikon That's always going to be subjective
@@phillippugh2161 That is absolutely not what color accuracy is. Color accuracy is 100% absolute. It all has to do with white balance, which goes through certification.

Yep I noticed this too. The iPhone does it too

Based on your video review, while it was close, the Pixel was overall a much better camera.
Am a Samsung fan..but i have to give this on to the pixel wen it comes to photo..but video and portrait i say Samsung
Most are subjective. But I prefer the more natural color and true to life than over saturation
Definitely! You can always over saturate it in post if you want

My problem is the over sharpening..its frustrating

One thing with pixels is they can lift the shadows a bit too much . They could do with toning this down a tad

The fact the Pixel tends to overheat when doing simple tasks like capturing photos is a deal breaker already

Thankyou sir, perfect video I was searching for
Please do smile in the pics bro

How are accurate colors subjective? The S22 literally made his skin a completely different color than it actually is.

«Твое лицо совершенно уникальное, оно словно произведение искусства!»
"Your face is quite unique, it's like a work of art!"
s22 better in daylight shots whereas pixel 7 is better with nigh shots
